It was nice to see dogs shown in bloom with deep double coats & thick pelts as I feel that a lot are been shown with too little coat, & it does say in the Standard ‘harsh & dense with close undercoat’.
The few dogs with little or no coat had to stand below those who were fit for their job.

1 James’ Blackmine Rossington, good head & expression, narrow front, correct topline & tailset, neat feet, just coming into coat, moved well. 1 & 2 could change places on another day;

2 Mckenzie’s Akenside Zadok The Priest, correct head & expression, in good coat, nice outline on the move;

3 Ferry’s Shawnee Snow Eater.

1 Anderson’s Minx’s Diamond, correct head & expression, nice reach of neck into well laid shoulder, good length of rib & firm hindquarters, good coat & pelt, nice outline on the move. BPD;

2 Barber’s Alcumlow Starstruck, immature puppy with pleasing head, narrow in front & body, good coat & pelt;

3 Fowler’s Olivander Wagstaff of Cringletie.

1 Fryer’s Irton Up Helly AA, strong masculine head with strength of jaw, good topline, ribs well back, good hindquarters, strong bone into nice tight small feet, in good coat & pelt;

2 Houston’s Earthwise Wolfbane, just out of puppy, really nice size dog, very close up to 1, correct head with keen expression, narrow front, correct rib & level topline, moved out well;

3 Irving’s Dandyhow Royal Oak.

1 Bean’s Brumberhill Battle Cry, upstanding, masculine outlook grizzle, strong head with keen expression, strong jaw with correct bite, nice length of neck, well laid back shoulder, correct topline held on the move, good length of body with firm hindquarters, moved freely & accurately. CC & BOB;

3 Cheeseman’s Bromscar Powder Finger.

1 Martin’s Dugaden Tusker, handy sized dog with correct head proportions & kind expression, good lay of shoulder into flat long rib, in fit condition with harsh coat & pelt, good outline & tailset, moved round the ring with drive. RCC;

2 Harrison’s Iacheslei Torus, in good hard condition, nice head & expression, good length of neck & rib, moved well;

3 Culley’s Earthwise Deuteronomy.

1 Todd’s Todlaws Furl O Brise, masculine head with good mouth, correct topline & tailset, well balanced on the move with neat feet, in good condition with correct coat;

2 Harrison’s Iacheslei Taum, another from this kennel who always shows in good condition, racy outline, good neck & shoulder, moved freely;

3 Hollingsbee’s Ch Otterwood Amex.

Really nice class of puppies.

1 McLellan’s Akenside Zetland via Breconbeds, lovely feminine head, good expression, good lay of shoulder, flat rib, correct topline & tailset, tight neat feet, in lovely coat & condition for a baby, moved well, pushed hard for BPB;

2 Gregory’s Remony Barley Twist, nice size bitch, feminine expression, narrow, good topline & tailset, in good coat & pelt, moved well;

3 Barber’s Alcumlow Spanish Steps.

1 Freivokh’s Dugaden Dilemma at Artwork, smart well balanced bitch, good head & dark eye giving pleasing expression, nice reach of neck into well laid shoulder, flat spannable rib & strong hindquarters, in good coat with thick pelt, level topline on the move. BP; 2 R Barley Twist; 3 Johnson’s Karison Kamella.

1 Pickering’s Picer Bright Idea, eyecatching & stylish showgirl in rich red coat, lovely head & expression, nice length of neck into good shoulders, flat rib, strong hindquarters, good topline on the move, moved freely with drive, in excellent condition. CC, close decision for BOB;

2 Scott’s Kilburn Chocolate Muffin, nice size bitch, pleasing head & expression, good length of body, nice topline on the move;

3 Barrett’s Irton Strawberry Fair.

2 Lothian’s Lairehop Diamant Chienne, in full coat but well made bitch underneath, good shoulder with correct rib, moved well;

3 Perrie & Hope’s Irrisistable Iona at Duntarvie.

3 Harrison’s Iacheslei Montanus.

Very strong class, some nice bitches went without a card.

1 Boulton’s Dugaden Ptarmigan, judged her as a puppy, still a very good bitch, lovely feminine head & expression, good shoulder & hind angulation, moved out with drive. Did consider for RCC preferred the presentation & condition of OB;

2 Dickinson & James’ Stoneygin Ripon Ruby by Badgerholme, feminine head, good length of neck leading to correct shoulder, good topline on the move;

3 Roslin-Williams’ Mansergh Miss Otis.

OB (5,1)

1 McPherson’s Brumberhill Breeze, nice size bitch, good shoulder, narrow body with well laid back ribs, correct tailset, neat feet, moved freely. RCC;

2 Roslin-Williams’ Mansergh Daisytoats, smart bitch with feminine head & expression, narrow all through, in good condition, moved well when settled;

3 McLellan’s Breconbeds Secret Liaison.
