V (2,1a) 1 Hardman’s Bonosue Queen Of The Nile, 81/2 years bitch, in good condition & good coat, typical head & ears, good neck, lovely shoulders, easy to span, moved well, handled well. MPD (7,2) 1 Gill’s Foxcraig Magic Max at Tyneaster, very nice pup, best of coats, nice head, neck & shoulders, good mouth, lovely balance, good attitude. Needs to steady on the lead; 2 McKenzie’s Akenside Zadok The Priest, good head, neck & shoulders, big teeth, moved very well. Pity about the soft coat; 3 James’ Blackmine Rossington. PD (5,1) 1 Marr’s Redfox Robbie, good front which comes with good shoulders, moved with drive, nice head, good topline. Coat can only get better with age. Nice size, lovely big teeth. BP; 2 Iddon’s Murphs Rutland Rascal, like the bone on this one, in good coat, nice head, good ear placement, moved & showed very well; 3 Davis’ Hesslemere Hi Karate. JD (10,3) 1 Johnson & Williams’ Quarryway Dill, lovely dog, really good neck & shoulders, good mover, in smashing trim, nice head, good attitude. With maturity will trouble the best; 2 Haughton’s Chorbeck Moonlight Shadow, in good coat & condition, smashing mover, typical head & ears, good expression, good handler; 3 Houston’s Earthwise Wolfbane. GD (6,1) 1 Bate’s Finehaugh Fella at Kgills, good coated dog, moved very good, nice shoulders, typical head, easy to span; 2 Culley’s Joncroft Orcadian Scion, handy dog, very much like 1, will change places. Pity coat not at its best. Best mover in class; 3 Woolrich’s Mansergh Song Thrush. PGD (8,1) 1 Sugars’ Foxcraig Magician, in good coat & pelt, well balanced, good mover, excellent layback of shoulders, very nice head, good feet & thick pads; 2 J Orcadian Scion; 3 Golding’s Master Minstral. LD (12,2) 1 Culley’s Earthwise Deuteronomy, best mover in class, moved straight & true, lovely head, correct expression, good neck & shoulders; 2 Harrison’s Iacheslei Torus, another who moved correctly, good expression, good neck & shoulders, correct mouth, good head, very well handled; 3 Fryer’s Irton Up Helly Aa. OD (7) 1 Harrison’s Iacheslei Taum, upstanding dog, in good coat, thick padded feet, lovely head & expression, good neck & layback of shoulders, moved like a train. Beaten for BOB by a very good bitch. CC; 2 Hollingsbee’s Ch Otterwood Amex, lovely dog, smashing head & neck, best of movement, nice bone, good pads. Failed on coat. RCC; 3 Davis’ Hesslemere Thriller. MPB (9,1) 1 Hopper’s Terracaos Nell Gwynn at Esyntona, nice balanced pup, nice head & expression, nice ears, good shoulders, nicely balanced, excellent movement for age; 2 Fryer’s Iron Polka, failed to 1 in coat. Another I liked, well balanced, good expression, moved best in class. Should do well when in good coat; 3 Todd’s Foxcraig Magic Spell at Roxess. PB (5,1) 1 Hardman’s Spanwise Scarlatina, best mover in class, good coat for age, good neck & shoulders, lovely expression; 2 Davis’ Hesslemere Miss Lemon, failed to 1 on coat. Nice dog, good bone & thick pads, nice head & ears, good layback of shoulder, good mouth, moved well with handler; 3 Johns’ Aladryn Nikita. JB (6) 1 Pickering’s Picer Bright Idea, very good Border, has everything one should have in a Border, head & ears make her have a wonderful expression, wonderful shoulders, nice round bone & thick pads, in the best of condition, moved with handler as one, a credit to her owner/breeder, class act. CC & BOB; 2 Johnson’s Karison Kamellia, good mover, when they are made right they move right, in good coat, lovely neck & shoulders, nice bone, good mouth, classic one; 3 Roslin-Williams’ Mansergh Ditty. GB (12,1) 1 Pickering’s Picer Polyanthus, another from this clever owner/breeder, sister to previous class, first class coat with undercoat, movement correct, lovely head, good expression, correct neck & shoulder placement, very good coat; 2 Wanless’ Thorneyburn Minnie The Minx, the best of coats, it gleamed with health, nice type, good expression, nice attitude, nice head & shoulders, good mouth; 3 Speake & Tart’s Aurora’s Popcorn. PGB (14,2) 1 Harrison’s Iacheslei Montanus, nothing wrong with this one, first class coat, best of movers, good expression, nice big teeth, head & shoulders very good; 2 Longton’s Royday Wishing Dixie, good type, movement good, lovely head & shoulders, in very good coat & condition, good mouth with big teeth, good thick pads; 3 Fraser & Butler’s Wagtail Lass via Ycart. LB (21,3) 1 Dickinson & James’ Stoneygin Ripon Ruby by Badgerholme, lovely bitch but she was short of body coat & carried too much hair on her head which stole the correct expression from her. Lovely bitch, really knows how to move, has a good attitude to the show ring; 2 Moss’ Vallemoss Viola, good type, very good mover, in good coat, head, ears & shoulders all good, in good condition; 3 Fraser & Butler’s Blue Tutu via Ycart. OB (5) 1 Cuthbertson’s Ashbrae Trinnie, good balanced one, nice bone, big teeth, good head & foreface giving the correct expression, coat & condition the best, wonderful attitude, moved like a dream, lovely layback of shoulders, close decision. RCC; 2 McPherson’s Brumberhill Belle De Jour, put down by an expert, good head, neck & shoulders, in first class coat & condition. Failed to 1 on ear placement which gave false expression; 3 Roslin-Williams’ Mansergh Daisytoats.
