DCC GLENCHESS GABRIEL OVER CARRADINE
RDCC CAIRNGOLD JACKPOT
BCC BOB CH LARCHLEA KNOT TO BE MIST
RBCC GLENCHESS GOLDEN WINGS
BP LARCHLEA LICENCE TO THRILL AT STANEDYKES

Judge Mrs C Confue

I was pleased with my overall winners but found a number of incorrect mouths & coats were mixed. Some had sticky substances applied which attract the dirt, others were dirty & smelly.

MPD (2,1a)

1 Saich’s Lindcoly Earnest Ernie, 8 month red, good head & mouth. Coat on the blow, not easy to assess, a little unsure of himself at present.

PD (3)

1 Moseley & Inett’s Spawyche Elizabethan Onyx, well balanced cream, in good coat, good head, deep stop & correct eye, stands well forward, level topline, firm hindquarters. Needs to tighten in front;
2 Pollock’s Larchlea Time To Entertain at Stanedykes, gr/br, in his underwear, liked his head & expression, plenty of neck, good spring of rib, good front. Moves a little close behind;
3 L Earnest Ernie.

JD (6,1)

Three promising males headed this class & will no doubt change places in the future.

1 Pollock’s Larchlea Licence To Thrill at Stanedykes, all male, good head, deep stop, correct eye, good reach of neck, correct front assembly, level topline held on the move, well muscled hindquarters, best mover in this class. Short of coat at present. Will watch his development with interest. BP;
2 Dolan & Inett’s Glenrood Iceman, nice exhibit, smaller pattern than 1 but similar comments apply. Not so positive in hind action;
3 Gould’s Vale of Atholl’s At Long Last.

ND (2,1)

1 Berrecloth’s Sybster Screenplay, gr/br, good head & expression, shown in harsh coat, moved & showed well.

PGD (8)

1 Short’s Glenchess All In The Stars, gr/br, clean outline, liked his head & expression, correct mouth & eye, correct front assembly, level topline & tailset, well angulated rear, good muscle, covers ground well. Just needs time to mature;
2 Smith’s Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle, have judged this boy in the past & he has matured nicely. Up to size yet similar remarks apply to 1. Short of coat at present & had other things on his mind today;
3 Saich’s Kiataia Masquerade.

LD (6)

1 Innett & Harrison’s Glenchess Gabriel over Carradine, have admired this young male for a while. Nicely balanced, good head, deep stop, good mouth & eye, shown in full coat of the correct texture, strong hindquarters which enabled him to cover the ground freely. He is a shade heavier on shoulder than I like but has so many other plus points, well presented & handled as you would expect from this exhibitor. Pleased to award him the CC which I understand is his third;

2 Firth & Jones’ Cairngold Jackpot, having judged this dog on a previous occasion I consider him an honest dog who has matured well. Good head & mouth, correct front assembly & hindquarters, coat of correct texture. I found him a little slack in topline. A steady mover & showman, I’m sure his day will come;

3 Saich’s Lindcoly Golden Legend.

OD (5)

1 Shopland’s Cherrycrack Mack The Knife, matured well since I last judged him. Shown in excellent coat & condition, liked his head & expression, good mouth, correct eye, moved well fore & aft. Just a little proud with his tail;
2 Percy’s Winetta Jimmy Mack, gr/br. Very typy, masculine in every way, good head, deep stop, good front, level topline & tailset. Would prefer a shade more leg to complete the picture & more drive from behind;
3 Berrecloth’s Ch Sybster Spring Time.

MPB (1)

1 Saich’s Lindcoly Miss Bedazzled, 8 month gr/br, sweet expression, good stop, correct mouth, coat of correct texture. Movement rather erratic.

PB (4)

1 Chambers & Exton’s Cairngrove Clever Clogs, dark bitch in excellent coat, nicely balanced, typical expression, correct mouth, good front, moved & showed well;
2 Saich’s Lindcoly Oki Doki, red, mischievous expression, good mouth, large teeth, balanced throughout, level topline & good tailset, well muscled hindquarters, moved well. Coat on the blow. Liked her a lot;
3 Peer’s Tweedisle Town Topper.

JB (8)

1 Firth & Jones’ Cairngold Avin A Paddy, gr/br, so typical of this kennel, good head, deep stop, correct eye & mouth, correct front, neck & shoulders, level topline held on the move, muscled hindquarters, moves & shows well, must have a bright future;
2 Shaw’s Honeyhall Hide N Seek, nice bitch, feminine, good head, good reach & neck, level topline, good hindquarters, coat of correct texture, presented & handled well;
3 L Oki Doki.

NB (5,1)

1 Munday’s Birselaw Firebird of Stradivarius, ultra feminine, lots to like about her, loved her outline, pretty head, good stop, correct eye & mouth, good front & layback of shoulder, level topline, shown in good coat, presented & handled well. Just needs time to mature. Most promising;
2 Miller’s Cornton Eileanach, cream, good outline, correct head & mouth, showed steadily. No coat at present.

PGB (4,1)

1 Osborn’s Tweslam Bonne Annee, r/br, attractive dark mask, nicely balanced, pleasing head & expression, correct eye, good stop, correct mouth, good reach of neck, level topline & good tailset, well presented & handled, moved steadily;
2 Goud’s Brindleoak Bundle And Go, pretty cream, nice head, good front, level topline held on the move. Coat not at its best. Showed well. Would prefer her a shade bigger throughout;
3 Smith’s Strathview Country Grace.

LB (2)

1 Marshall’s Strathgarten Kenmilfore Lady Marmalade, reed, a favourite of mine, so feminine. Not a big bitch yet nicely balanced, lovely head, good stop, correct mouth, good neck & shoulders, level topline. Moving a little wide in front. Watch her weight;
2 Berrecloth’s Sybster Spring Into Summer, typy bitch, good head, correct eye & ear placement, coat of correct texture. A shade heavy on shoulders. Steady showgirl.

OB (6,1)

1 Templeton’s Ch Larchlea Knot To Be Mist, this brindle bitch is so typical of the breed. Shown in excellent coat & condition, lovely outline & balance, feminine head, correct eye & mouth, well constructed throughout, moved well once settled, showed all out. Delighted to award her BOB;
2 Short’s Glenchess Golden Wings, mature red, heavier set than CC with good head & mouth. Correct front, standing well forward, level topline held on the move, strong hindquarters, coat of correct texture & well presented. Covers the ground effortlessly, well handled;
3 Smook-van Koolbergen’s Dutch/Lux Ch Birselaw Emma.
