The weather was just right for the dogs, although the ring was very uneven & it was difficult to assess movement.
Movement is still a concern, back movement having improved in some dogs but to the detriment of front movement & vice versa. I was pleased with my line-up of both dogs & bitches. DCC was Shopland’s Cherrycrack Mack The Knife;
BCC & BOB was Robinson’s Cruzo Cinderella – both these dogs fit the Standard well.

MPD (2)

1 Marshall’s Strathgarten Crackerjack, 7 months light red, very confident for age, correct mouth, straight front, correct tailset, moved & showed well;

2 Peer’s Tweedisle Krazy Koot, 6 months very attractive wheaten with the desirable dark points, good head & expression, correct mouth with large teeth. It was difficult to assess his movement as gave handler a very hard time.

PD (1)

1 T Krazy Koot.

JD (5)

1 Rhead’s Copleaze Chesterwoodboy, lovely r/br, excellent head & expression, good stop & correct mouth, good length of neck flowing into clean shoulders, lovely outline when moving keeping his good topline, moved true, should go a long way;

2 Pollock’s Larchlea License To Thrill at Standedykes, r/br with good outline, lovely straight front with clean shoulders. In between coats at present. Moved & showed well;

3 Moseley & Inett’s Spawyche Elizabethan Onyx.

PGD (6,1a)

1 Waugh’s Tribannon Warlord, dark gr/br, good head & expression, straight front, correct layback of shoulders flowing into level topline, good tailset, moved with plenty of drive. Didn’t put all in when in the challenge;

2 Copley’s Cloverbrook Play The Game, wheaten with dark points, smaller than 1 but well balanced, excels in head, good level topline held when moving. Just preferred the size of 1;

3 Middlehurst’s Zalazar Un Zipped at Starveren.

LD (5,1)

1 Cameron’s Stryveling Robb Ruadh, outstanding red that I have watched from the ringside & doesn’t disappoint on the table, attractive head with dark points of correct proportions, good eye & deep stop, correct mouth, clean shoulders into good topline & correct tailset, moved true. Did not put all in in the challenge. RCC;

2 Granger’s Devil In Disguise, red, larger than 1, good mouth with large teeth & wide bite, nice strong head, good length of neck, in excellent condition, beautifully groomed, moved well. Needs to mature a little more but sure he will do well;

3 Fairweather’s Ock I Am The Boss.

OD (3,1)

1 Shopland’s Cherrycrack Mack The Knife, dark gr/br, upstanding dog with beautiful outline, attractive head, correct mouth, straight front with good forechest, good length of neck flowing into clean shoulders, level topline & correct tailset, moved effortlessly around the ring & demanded attention. CC;

2 Percy’s Winetta Jimmy Mack, gr/br, beautiful head & expression, good deep stop, similar points apply as 1 although smaller, these two dogs could change places anytime.

MPB (8,3)

1 Burgin’s Noncom Miss Hat She Chewed, 8 months wh/br, beautifully balanced, excels in head, good dark eye & correct mouth, excellent shoulders with good layback, good topline & tailset, moved around the ring effortlessly with plenty of drive, a very confident showgirl for one so young, will watch her progress with interest. BP;

2 Bradshaw’s Newfield Dawn Spirit, very pretty r/br, very similar to 1, beautifully balanced, good outline, excellent movement, these two puppies could change places another time;

3 Felter & Rumen’s Landbuck Jazz Hands.

PB (4,3)

1 Jane’s Therhyse Olways Moanin, 11 months light red, confident showgirl, good mouth, level topline. Coat not at its best & would benefit from a little less weight.

JB (6,1)

1 Confue’s Anjofra Me Me Me, pretty headed bitch with good expression & correct mouth, good length of neck, excellent movement, good showgirl, maturing well;

2 Felter & Rumen’s Landbuck Silver Muse, cream, very similar in shape to 1, good level topline & tailset, nice outline, showed well;

3 Pettes’ Cairngold Gunning For Gold with Doonrae.

PGB (12,3)

1 Smee’s Malmay Sky’s The Limit, pretty headed gr/br with correct proportions, straight front, good topline & nice tailset which gives her a good outline, excellent showgirl;

2 Robinson’s Cruzo Bannock Belle, dark r/br, smaller than 1, good outline with beautiful head with deep stop, level topline & excellent tailset, moved true;

3 Weinberger’s Correnie Crazy For You.

LB (10,2)

1 Robinson’s Cruzo Cinderella, lovely silver/gr, presented & handled well, good head & expression, good mouth, excellent length of neck flowing into good clean shoulders, level topline & tailset, well let down hocks, showed & moved well. CC, her second, & BOB, hope her third won’t be long as she is worthy of being a Ch;

2 Thompson’s Castleline Tiger Lily, wh/br in a fuller coat than 1, pretty head with dark points, good length of neck flowing into good shoulders, moved true both back & front. RCC;

3 Inett’s Curtisey Foreign Account with Carradine.

OB (3,1)

1 Osborn’s Tweslam Izzy Wizzy Get Bizzy, upstanding bright red bitch who I judged when she was a puppy & has matured well, good head, beautiful straight front, level topline, good length of leg, moved well. Coat a little short at present;

2 Burgin’s Curtisey Foreign Affair at Carradine, dark gr/br, smaller than 1 but with a lovely outline, good length of neck & excellent layback of shoulders, coat of good texture, moved effortlessly around the ring.
