We were lucky with the weather for most of the day apart from a little rain and a loud bang of thunder which did not upset any of the exhibits, in fact it sparked them up. At other times some needed a bit more “oomph”. I found some rear movement disappointing but there were those who were very, very good and a pleasure to watch. There were a couple of bad mouths and some had light and protruding eyes. Please watch feet, I found one with long thin feet with flat pads. Temperaments were excellent and there were plenty of top quality specimens. I went home happy.

MPD (1)

1 Marshall’s Starthgarten Crackerjack, red baby, bright & showy, moved well.

PD (1)

1 Keeves’ Conundrum Under Your Spell with Seveek, light red, good head, liked his outline, moved well keeping his level topline. BP.

JD (6) 1 Templeton’s Larchlea Time To Entertain, dark r/br, best of heads & expression, in excellent order. Just needs time to mature, a star of the future;

2 Head’s Copseleaze Chesterwoodboy, very attractive rusty red, good head & shape, moved & showed well;

3 Peer’s Tweedisle Guy Mannering.

ND (0).

PGD (6,1a)

1 Waugh’s Tribannon Warlord, liked this dog when he was a puppy & he has grown to be a lovely dog albeit somewhat unruly on the table. Very good head & expression, great outline, well bodied, moved with zest, true & accurate. RCC;

2 Middlehurst’s Zalazar Un Zipped at Starveren, well presented red, good head & expression, moved & showed well;

3 Smith’s Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle.

LD (7)

1 Cameron’s Stryeling Robb Ruadh, red with dark points, maturing to become a grand dog with bearing, good head & expression, big teeth, liked his size & shape, good spring of rib, always alert & a happy showman but it is his movement that impressed me, its spot on, his strong quarters & drive take him round effortlessly. CC & BOB;

2 Grainger’s Devil In Disguise, red, good head & expression, good bone. Bigger than 1, still well balanced & showed well, in good order. Not helping his handler on the move which was a shame. Like him a lot;

3 Dolan & Inett’s Glenrood Ice Man.

OD (5)

1 Shopland’s Cherrycrack Mack The Knife, dark g/br, like his head & expression, good outline, level topline, tail well set on, moved well;

2 Shannon & Storr’s Ch Brenndarcy Spellbinder, wheaten with dark points, good head & pleasing expression, moved well;

3 Percy’s Winetta Jimmy Mack.

MPB (2,1)

1 Powell’s Noncom Mad Madam Mimm at Rosenez, gr/br baby, proper bundle of fun, bounced round the ring, lovely head, lovely pup.

PB (4,1)

1 Pearson & Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Commotion, dark with good head, eye & mouth. Coat not at its best. Moved & showed well;

2 Ward’s Vanajma Chorus Line, gr/br, good head, liked her shape, showed well;

3 Keeves’ Seveek Field Of Dreams.

JB (6)

Very good class, I was spoilt for choice.

1 Chambers & Exton’s Cairngrove Clever Clogs, really like this ones shape, good head & expression, moved very well. In the challenge she just lost her topline & that changed my mind about awarding her RCC. A lovely bitch who should do very well;

2 Petts’ Cairngold Gunning For Gold with Doonrae, red with dark points & enviable dark tip to her tail, delightful expression, good spring of rib, quite a showgirl;

3 Weinberger’s Larchlea Good Vibrations at Correnie.

NB (2)

1 Waugh’s Tribannon Arabella, wheaten, good head, dark eye, good teeth. Between coats. Moved well;

2 Inett, Harrison & Clayton’s Carradine Between Friends, r/br, liked her head & shape. Would like her slightly bigger to complete the picture. Showy.

PGB (9)

1 Thompson’s Castleline Bonnie, gorgeous wheaten with dark points, good reach of neck, level topline, showed & moved well in this class. In the challenge she lost interest for a while & I thought she had blown her chances for RCC, she must have realised this & became alert, showing all out & looking a treat. RCC;

2 Dolan’s Glenrood Forever Topps, lovely cream bitch with pretty head. Changing coats. Moved & showed well & totally unfazed when the thunder came;

3 Robinson’s Cruzo Bannock Belle.

LB (10)

1 Robinson’s Cruzo Cinderella, dark r/br, coat a touch on the short side but good quality. Loved her head & expression, reach of neck, level topline, animated, alert & attentive, used her ears well, so well put together which showed in her movement. CC;

2 Weinberger’s Correnie Anything Goes, gr/br, very good head & expression, dark eye, good mouth, showed & moved well, very good all over;

3 Innett & Harrison’s Curtisey Foreign Account with Carradine.

OB (6,1)

This class was a treat.

1 Templeton’s Ch Larchlea Knot To Be Mist, very dark with good head, eye & expression, in great order, good reach of neck, level topline, true showgirl & most worthy champion;

2 Smook-van Koolbergen’s Dutch/Lux Ch Birselaw Emma, gr/br, loved her head & expression, good coat, showy & moved with drive;

3 Shannon, Storr & Culliford’s Ch Brenndarcy Be Bop Deluxe.
