Several dogs disliked the wet grass & this had an adverse effect on their movement.
MPD (2,1 a) I Downie &Tates' Jaeva Face The Music, 6 months gr/br with type & quality, rare to find a puppy of this age with such confidence & showmanship, well constructed throughout & in good coat & condition, very attractive head, well furnished, with good ear placement, correct eye with the most appealing expression. BP.
PD (1) 1Thomas'Tycadno Star Man, expertly presented & handled wh/br in good coat & condition, impressive head, so well constructed with desired dark points, good static balance& steady movement.
JD (3,1) I Ward's Vanajam Pop Idol, confident cream, mature & well grown for age, super head with proportions correct, nice ear placement, good eye & excellent dentition, well balanced with good bone & angulation, lovely reach of neck, correct shoulders, level topline & good turn to style, moved true with energy & enthusiasm, a pleasure to handle, he should have a bright future. RCC; 2 Templeton's Larchlea Time To Entertain, gr/br in good coat & condition, balanced with attractive head, moved well & unlucky to meet I in such sparkling form.
PGD (2). I Smee's Malmay King Of The Road. well made throughout & corresponds well to the Standard. Giving his handler a difficult time & this affected his movement; 2 Lifton's Glenrood Stormkeeper at Liffycairn, good type, balanced with well constructed head. Eye could be darker to advantage.
LD (7,1) I Grainger's Devil In Disguise, eyecatching, extrovert bright red full of energy, handles really well on the table, well structured head, lovely reach of neck & correct shoulders, impressed with the length of upper arm & good angulation of hindquarters, the best movement of the day, very free & positive, forelegs reaching well forward with strong drive from behind. CC; 2 Dolan & Inett's Glenrood Ice Man cream, good head with the desired dark points, well balanced, sound & typical. Did not match the energy & movement of I; 3 Copley's Cloverbrook Play The Game.
OD (8.4) A privilege to judge this quality class. I Middlehurst's Ch CannwoodAs If By Magic to Starveren, attracts the eye with a classic outline & good static balance, super head with proportions correct, nice ear placement, good eye & excellent dentition, coat short, but of correct texture, outstanding dog & very worthy ch. Would not cooperate with his handler on the move. 2 Thomas & Hooton's Ch Rasken's Romping Playboy, impressive male with a superb head, correct texture to coat. good to see harsh hair right down to feet, worthy ch, handled so well on the table, but lacked enthusiasm on the move. 3 Braybrook's Cloverbrook Precious Cargo.
MPB (2,1) I Felters & Rumen's LandbuckJazz Hands, pretty, feminine cream, very much a baby. Lots to like, just needs time to mature & grow face furnishings.
PB (I) I Pearson & Braybrook's Cloverbrook Commotion, promising gr/br, well constructed head with proportions correct, good eye with such a cheeky expression. Coat past its best, with a new coat & some more months maturity, could trouble the best.
JB (6,1) I Confue's Anjofra Me Me Me, well presented confident & conforming well to the Standard, good construction throughout, nice neck & shoulders, level topline & strong hindquarters, attractive head with that typical Cairn expression, eager & ready for anything, handled to advantage; 2 Soper's Elitecharm Only Girl, attractive wh/br with pleasing body proportions, head typical with the desired dark points, moved well but lacked maturity of 1. 3 Dolan's Glenrood Mystic Topaz.
PGB (10,1) Lovely class full of quality. I Munday's Birselaw Firebird of Stradivarius, wh/br in full coat, pleasing body proportions she showed well, what a beautiful head, so well constructed broad skull, deep stop & strong muzzle, such expressive eyes with that magical quality only Cairns have; 2 Robinson's Cruzo Bannock Belle, quality dark brindle, well made body, correct angulation & muscletone enabling her to cover the ground with ease while maintaining her lovely outline; 3 Roberts' Canwood Touch The Dream.
LB (8.1) I Robinson's Cruzo Cinderella, eyecatching beautifully balanced feminine well constructed head, typical expression, good reach of neck into correct shoulder placement, level topline & good quarters. Her movement was a pleasure to watch, light & positive she could really cover the ground without effort, exciting prospect. RCC; 2 Thompson's Castleline Tiger Lilly, wh/br with type & quality, lovely head & body construction, moved really well, but not the enthusiasm of 1. 3 Oldale's Cranae New Dawn.
OB (7,3) Very good class, full of quality. I Templeton's Ch Larchlea Knot To Be Mist. captivating, outstanding grey excelling in both type & quality, handles well on the table & fantastic head & conformation close to perfection, her static balance is eyecatching. such a good outline, proud & confident she moved with style & purpose. CC & BOB; 2 Nordstrand & Lindborg's Sw Ch Rasken's Rich Grey Lark, beautiful gr/br, similar in type to I & many of the same remarks apply. Not enthusiastic & a shame she met I in such sparkling form; 3 Dolan's Glenrood Forever Topps.
