Scottish Terriers

PD (4,2a)

1 Bettis’ Glenheath Independent by Ornella, clean skull, well developed forequarters, good depth of brisket, short coupled, moved well;

2 Manning’s Elfricia Laird, strong masculine head & expression, plenty of substance throughout. Longer in back than I like. Excellent jacket, sound on the move.

JD (4,1)

1 Boyce’s Trakside By The Loch, pleasing head & expression, clean skull, balanced neck with topline, well laid shoulder, good depth of brisket, short coupled, strong quarters with good angulation, covered the ground well, in great jacket;

2 Lawrence’s Sweetgarret My Wee Geordie, good head with masculine expression, well developed chest, level topline. Longer in coupling than 1. Plenty of substance, more settled on the move in the next class;

3 G Independent by O.

PGD (7,1)

1 Cardy’s Blackthorpe Jet Ranger, good head & expression, clean skull, level topline, good tailset, well developed chest, strong quarters, moved soundly;

2 S My Wee Geordie; 3 Greenwood’s Petmon Light Of My Life.

LD (7,1)

1 Kenny’s Millingford Northern Rock, excellent head & expression with clean skull, balanced length of neck with level topline, good tailset, well developed forechest, deep brisket, short coupled, strong quarters, plenty of substance, in perfect hard jacket, covered the ground with confidence. CC, his third;

2 Montgomery’s Gaterin Brigadoon, close to 1 with plenty of quality, pleasing head & expression, well put together, good substance, moved soundly. RCC;

3 Mahmoudi’s Brio Quizzical.

OD (5,1)

1 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Jubilation, in great condition, pleasing head & expression with clean skull, level topline, true fore & aft, good depth of brisket, strong quarters, short coupled, moved soundly;

2 Annan’s Lomonview Scrumpy Jack, beautiful dog full of quality, well put together. Not happy on the move. The loud speakers seemed to upset several dogs;

3 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor.

PB (3,1)

1 Hill’s Samstevever Hint Of A Tint, promising baby, pleasing head & expression, short coupled, well laid shoulder, good depth of brisket, covered the ground well, plenty of substance. BP;

2 Plane’s Mayson Carnival at Stuane, beautiful quality puppy, feminine head & expression, short coupled, strong quarters. Am afraid she was not going to move enough to earn first place.

JB (5)

1 Smereka’s Alistefjo Black Orchid, quality bitch, pleasing head & expression, balanced neck running into level topline, tail on top, good shoulder placement, short coupled, strong quarters, covered the ground well;

2 Corney’s Rilynson Sunshine Princess, quality bitch, very difficult choosing between these two bitches. 1 ahead on movement as 2 was pulling to the side which ruined the picture, I am sure they change places often. Clean skull, well developed forechest, short coupled, strong quarters, excellent hard jacket, plenty of substance;

3 Dobell’s Kelticbright Bluebelle.

PGB (8,2)

1 Montgomery’s Gaterin Rhum ‘n’ Raisin at Montscot, very similar type to RDCC, feminine head, clean skull, level topline, short coupled, good breadth of forechest, strong quarters, moved soundly;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Aurora I Am Afraid, another beautifully made bitch, was not happy with her surroundings;

3 Beardsmore’s Miss Moochy Mabel.

LB (7,2)

1 Mahmoudi’s Brio Inquizitive, feminine head, clean skull, well developed chest, good depth of brisket, well ribbed back, strong quarters, covered the ground with drive. RCC;

2 Morris’ Lucia’s Dream Serenade Scotchmore, pleasing head & expression, balanced neck into level topline, good tailset, plenty of substance. Seemed a bit lazy on the move;

3 Montgomery’s Scotline Scarlette at Montscot.

OB (5)

1 Miller’s Ch Brio Exquizite, perfect name for a lovely bitch, great expression, clean skull of good length, balanced with overall body proportions, well laid shoulder, well developed forechest, good depth of brisket, well ribbed back, strong quarters, plenty of substance, covered the ground with drive, in great coat. CC & BOB;

2 Annan’s Ch Lomondview Clementina, worthy ch, full of mischief, quality feminine head & expression, level topline, tail on top, true fore & aft, short coupled, good depth of body. Felt 1 covered the ground with a longer stride;

3 Smereka’s Finloch Haides at Alisterfjo.
