Scottish Terriers

PD (3,1a)

1 Walker’s Beaureveur Magnifique, balanced head, dark well set eye, neat ears, strong neck & good quarters, level topline & good set-on, moved out with drive BP;

2 Chick’s Brueiks Magical Connection, preferred head shape of 1, pleased in eye & expression, topline OK, powerful rearend, in good coat. A little erratic on the move.

JD (3)

1 Greenwood’s Petmon Light Of My Life, well made with dark eye & keen expression, head proportions OK, neat ears & just enough neck, shoulders, topline & loin were all strong pointers, moved out well;

2 Hopcutt’s Highland Dancer at Celticbridge, bigger sort & longer cast than 1. In cracking coat, strong head & body all through, nice lines & powerful rearend, steady mover;

3 Milburn-Cates’ Diddling Dan with Liroda.

PGD (4)

1 P Light Of My Life;

2 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor, biggish lad, full of himself with strength & power all through. Not quite the head of 1 but held a good topline & shortened himself up once settled. Moved adequately;

3 Dodson’s Polwicks Smokey Quartz.

LD (3)

1 Montgomery’s Gaterin Brigadoon, thickset, plenty of substance & balanced in head & body, dark eye, keen expression, good dentition, well ribbed up & strong in loin, level topline, moved freely;

2 Mahmoudis’ Brio Quizzical, pleased in head & neck, in good coat & condition, plenty of bone & substance, plenty behind the tail. Moved out quite well but not as positive in front movement as 1;

3 P Smokey Quartz.

OD (5)

1 Plane’s Sloane Loch Ranger, thickset, strong & powerful, nice for size & so well made, balanced all through & in excellent condition, scored in head & body with short back, strong loin & powerful hindquarters, true mover. BOB;

2 Marshall’s Ch Benartybrae Bears Rory, what a star, in excellent order, pleasing head, neck & shoulder, strength & balance overall & still moving out so well, a pleasure to go over him. RBD;

3 Pagram’s Ch Torcraig With A Difference, completed a quality threesome.

PB (3,2)

1 Milburn-Gates’ Sweetgarret Girl Nellie with Liroda, typical, feminine & all of a piece but still a baby, pleased in head, eye & expression, neat well carried ears, level topline, moved out quite well once settled.

JB (5,2)

Nice class.

1 Pagram’s Torcraig Black Pearl, quality exhibit, nice for size, balanced head, lovely eye, scored in neck & body, well ribbed up, level topline & good set-on, turned out so well, moved freely, will watch her progress with interest. RBB;

2 Marshall’s Jessica At Midnight with Benartybrae, smaller than 1 but short, thick set & all of a piece, head proportions OK, pleased in neck & shoulder, well ribbed up, level topline & good set-on, moved out steadily once settled;

3 Greenwood’s Petmon Miss Tiggywinkle.

PGB (5,1)

1 Beardsmore’s Miss Moochy Mabel, typical, strength all through, nice head, dark eye, just enough neck & held a level topline, balanced on the move;

2 Pagram’s Torcraig Fair Enough, scored in head, eye & ear shape, plenty of substance & bone, level topline & good set-on. Would like her showing a little less daylight underneath. Moved out quite well;

3 P Miss Tiggywinkle.

LB (4,2)

1 Marshall’s Benartybrae Wish Upon A Star, nice for size, thick set, short & well balanced in head & body, eye, ears & neck were all plus points, well ribbed up with short strong loin & good set-on, moved out with drive from strong hindquarters;

2 Mahmoudis’ Brio Inquizitive, put down in excellent coat & condition, good head, neat & well carried ears, muscular neck & deep chest. Little longer cast than 1 & did not carry her topline so well on the move.

OB (3,1)

1 Pagram’s Ch Torcraig Back In Black, quality, balanced all through & pushed very hard for BOB, scored in head, eye & ears with strong neck, good shoulders & a short strong back, plenty of bone, excellent topline & good set-on, true mover with plenty of drive. BB;

2 Marshall’s Benartybrae Stariette Belle, not overdone in this company & exhibited nice lines & balance on the move, head proportions OK, well boned in front, pleased in neck & topline, short back, strong loin, good set-on & plenty behind the tail.
