PD (7,3a) 1 Annan’s Lomondview Scrumpy Jack, 12 months on the day, balanced black, clean head, neat well placed ears, dark eye, good dentition, well sprung ribs, low slung, well developed quarters, harsh coat, well presented. BP; 2 Marley & Thirlwell’s Myrlea Clan Douglas, b/br in good coat & condition, similar in type to 1, similar comments apply but preferred the head of 1; 3 Shaw’s Terratom Cappuccino. JD (4) 1 Kenny’s Millingford Northern Rock, quality black, good head with well placed ears, correct dentition, front & bone OK, good run in to level topline, correct coat texture, good quarters moved well. RCC; 2 Hopcutt’s Highland Dancer at Celticbridge, black in good coat & condition, heavy bone with good body properties, well developed quarters. Coat needs attention to correct topline; 3 Whitby’s Morivey Maverick. PGD (6,2) 1 Montgomery’s Gaterin Brigadoon, brindle, balanced with good front, well sprung ribs, low slung, short back, good quarters moved with drive; 2 Highland Dancer at C; 3 Smith’s Killisport McNaught at Soarvale. LD (4) 1 Barnett’s Barnwin Beam Me Up, well presented black in super coat & condition, head OK, dark eye, good front, neck & shoulder placement, well sprung ribs & low slung body, well developed quarters, moved OK. Would prefer better tail carriage; 2 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Jubilation, black with pleasing head & eye, good bite, correct front, well sprung ribs, short back, tail on top, good coat texture, well presented; 3 Smith’s Killisport McNaught at Soarvale. OD (6,2) 1 Dixon’s Chatterdale Top Gun, beautifully presented masculine black in tip-top condition, balanced head with well placed ears, correct bite, front & well placed shoulders, adequate bone, low slung with well developed quarters, level topline, moved out well with drive from behind. CC; 2 Minshall’s Cairnsden Black Jack, black, clean balanced head, dark eye, good bite, OK for bone. Longer cast than 1, would prefer a harsher coat. Moved OK; 3 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor. PB (4,2) 1 Shaw’s Terratom Latte, 11 months brindle in super coat & condition, dark eye, correct bite, good body properties, tail on top. Would prefer more rear angulation. Well handled, moved steadily; 2 Sumner’s Carmigan Contessa, 7 months baby with feminine head & good bite, very raw at present. Trimming needs attention. JB (6,3) 1 C Contessa; 2 Haine & Cardinali’s Ornella Pristina Script, 11 months brindle, dark eye, good bite, harsh coat. Could be better handled; 3 Cunningham’s Gothtayle Macy Sky’s Girl. PGB (5,2) 1 Sumner’s Carmigan Suzie The Star, black, balanced head & correct bite, good bone, well sprung ribs, low slung with well developed quarters. Could improve the overall picture with better trimming; 2 Montgomery’s Scotline Scarlette, black, size smaller than 1 but much better presented in good harsh coat. Would prefer a more balanced head, not the bone & substance of 1; 3 Cunningham’s Aireside Jackanory. LB (2,1) 1 C Suzie The Star. OB (6,1) 1 Annan’s Lomondview Clementina, brindle bitch in excellent coat & condition, clean feminine head, dark eye with good expression, neat well placed ears, good neck & shoulders, well sprung ribs, low slung, short back, well developed quarters, tail on top, moved with drive coming & going. CC & BOB; 2 Beckton & Blower’s Killisport, well presented brindle bitch, dark eye, good bite, quality neck & shoulders, good body properties, well developed quarters, moved OK but would prefer a little more drive from behind. RCC; 3 Kenny’s Millingford Bohemian.
