East of England Showground, Peterborough Judge(s) Mrs L A Crawley BD STUANE LOCH RANGER (MR S PLANE) SCOTTISH JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 08 Scottish Terriers PD (5,1a) 1 Boyce’s Trackside By The Loch, lovely type of puppy, upstanding & substantial body, correctly slung between legs, good for bone & substance, just enough neck, head, eye & mouth good, showed & moved well. BP; 2 Bettis’ Glenheath Independent by Ornella, giving much away in age to 1, nice size, correct substance, balanced puppy with correct short back & well made body; 3 Wilson-De-Roye’s George Lad. JD (0). PGD (1) 1 Whitby’s Morivey Maverick, nice head, correct eye size & shape, good mouth. Lacks a bit of body & substance. Moved OK. LD (1) 1 Mahmoudi Brio Quizzical, lovely quality dog, very attractive & substantial, excellent length of neck flowing into good topline, moved well. For perfection would like him a tad shorter. Great coat & condition. RBD. OD (2) 1 Plane’s Stuane Loch Ranger, slightly smaller type but no less substantial or lacking in substance, smart short backed dog, lovely head, great expression, good length of neck, cobby & strong, moved & showed very well. BOB; 2 Mills’ Ch Heathergreen Emanuel of Blackthorpe, quality dog of bigger type, good head, correct length of neck flowing into level topline, upstanding & substantial. Would like him a bit shorter. Lovely coat & condition. Not such an alert animated showman. PB (2) 1 Boyce’s Trackside Fairytale, litter sister to puppy dog but not his confidence as yet, lovely type of pretty bitch, short back, plenty of substance for age & size, lovely outline & tail on top, moved well. RBB; 2 Mills’ Sweetgarret Bonny Blossom of Blackthorpe, close up to 1 but not the topline or texture coat but full of quality, correct substance & good head properties. JB (1) A. PGB (1) & LB (2) A. OB (2,1) 1 Boyce’s Ch/Ir Ch Killisport Alice at Trakside, dam of the puppy winners, really quality bitch who gave the BOB a run for his money, lovely head, eye & expression, correct length of neck, good topline, in good coat, just the right amount of substance for a bitch, showed well but not with the vitality of the dog. BB.
