My thanks to WELKS Secretary for her well organised show, and to my very able and freindly Stewards.
Of course this would not have been possible without you the Exibitors, who were graceful about my placings,
and the all behaved well. It was nice to see some new faces, and the dogs I had not had the pleasure of judging before.
It made the whole day very enjoyable for me. Thank you.

PUPPY - Dog

1st TETANI SPIRIT OF FIRE (MISS R HARBER)
10 mths and still a baby, a bit unsure today. Well marked and constructed, super head,
just needs time to settle, has promise.

JUNIOR - Dog

Entries: 2 Absentees: 0

1st MIMBRE FIRST MATE (MS L & MS E ST CLAIR & BELL)
Good for size, and correct in breed points. Another super head, with good use of ears.
Balanced outline and moved really well.

2nd FAOLAN CORVUS (A WILLIAMS)
Going through growth stage, and a little unsettled - would like
to see him again later, with more maturity.

POST GRADUATE - Dog

1st NEWTONIAN BLACK ROD (MR T & MRS S PYNE)
Very nice dog gets better every time out. Lovely head and good crest of neck, into that straight front.
Well ballanced body with good driving action. Ready to challenge the best. RCC

2nd MIMBRE FIRST MATE (MS L & MS E ST CLAIR & BELL)

3rd EAGLESPUR PRIME TIME AT LAURENBILL (MR G BOGGIS)

1st CH DIGELSA DIG DEEP AT BROCKENELLA JW SHCM (MR K & MRS E BROXUP)
This dog was on top form today. He is, as my notes say, mature, balanced typey.
Fits the standard moved with drive, his gleaming coat showed off hard muscle.
His attitued said 'I own this ring today', and he kept it up in the challenge. Well done. CC & BOB

2nd MEGELLAN FREE RUNNER (MESDAMES B & A O'NEILL & MIZEN)
Another one I liked, with good breed points. Not quite the reach of neck, but of a good type.
just lacked the Panache and lustre of 1, and coat not so dark today.

3rd TWISEL GOING SOLO (MRS M M EVANS)

PUPPY - Bitch

Entries: 4 Absentees: 0

1st MIMBRE SOLITAIRE (MS C A WICKER)
Just a few days over 6 months, and her first time out. Compact body, markings correct with dark mahogany tan,
carried ears well, with super coat. My notes on this say 'naughty but nice' and that sums her up. A good future
when she behaves, but with her virtues could not deny her. In the challenge she did actually show us
that she can move properly. BP

2nd TYBURN LOTIS (MISS N DE LAVIS-TRAFFORD)
I remember some years ago, judging two young pups from the same kennels as these two and saying they both
had qualities and could change places later. (The both became CH's), the same applied today with another generation.
That's consistant breeding. At this stage in their young lives growing is not always that even. She has good breed points
although coat a little fine and ears need to settle, she lacked the sparkle of 1, today.

3rd TYBURN LARA (MRS J M BROWN)

JUNIOR - Bitch

Entries: 5 Absentees: 1

1st MANSIYA MIDNIGHT GRACEFUL (MS P A SMITH)
Needs to lose a little more weight, to put head and neck in balance with body.
Otherwise well made markings good, moved well.

2nd FAOLAN ANDROMEDA (MS E L OVER)
Quite a nice bitch, a pity ears erratic and movement needs to settle.

3rd TALANORS TOMORROWS DREAMS (MR C & MRS G KNIGHT)

POST GRADUATE - Bitch

Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

1st GLORYLINE ELIZABETH OF YORK AT BROCKENELLA J W (MR K & MRS E BROXUP)
This Lady is well up to size, but with her good breed points, presents a blanced outline.
Much better now with maturity. Moved really well.

2nd EAGLESPUR RED CHLOE (MRS E E TEAGUE-KNIGHT)
Correct size, well marked. Unfortunately was very unsettled and did not
make the most of herself. Needs to put on more weight.

LIMIT - Bitch

Entries: 5 Absentees: 1

1st DIGELSA DOUBLE ENTENDRE (MR M & MISS S R OXLEY)
Have like this bitch since I first saw her as a puppy. Today presented in gleaming condition,
beautiful head with correct ears, nice dark eye, super outline with just the right amount of rise over the loin,
without losing those nice strong quarters, which showed as she covered the ground when she moved,
a treat to go over, just unfortunate to meet the dog at his very best in the challenge today. BCC

2nd CHURNET CHANTILLY (MR E & MRS J PURVIS)
Fits the standard for size, elegant and feminine really not wanting to show herself off today,
as was reflected in her ears and movement. have seen her better.

3rd CHURNET CRESCENDO (MRS L M & MRS M HALL & CLOWES)

OPEN - Bitch

Entries: 4 Absentees: 1

1st CH KENMILFORE SWEET LASS OF FAOLAN (MS E L OVER)
Well made and marked as befits her CH status. Up to size with good bone, balanced outline,
correct tailset, good use of ears on her strong head. Moved straight and with drive. RCC

2nd CH TYBURN FAEDRA (MISS N DE LAVIS-TRAFFORD)
An old favourite of mine, finer than 1 and of the more traditional type, well made and good topline
and held it on the move and what is becoming hard to find these days, good feet. Some grey hairs
starting to show, but very happy with life, nice to see.

3rd CH TALANORS TRICK N TREAT (MR C & MRS G KNIGHT)

Mrs G Reeve (Judge)
