Usk Showground, Gwernesney, Near Usk, Mon Judge(s) Mr Max King BD CH BROOKSTREAM MARCUS BANKS JW SHCM (MR NH MRS L & MR WH NORRIS)
1. Thurlow’s Westwytch Tourmaline Taboo. Good head with correct eye presenting keen expression, long skull, clean well cut shoulders, not quite settling on the move. OD (3.1) 1. Norris’ Ch Brookstream Marcus Banks. Worthy champion, very nicely balanced and presenting tidy outline, good size and overall shape, good head with correct ear carriage, spooked a little on the table but recovered and moved well. BD and BOB. 2. O’Neill’s Ch Eaglespur Piper at Megallan. Type, condition and performance belied his age of nearly 8, good specimen of the breed to go over. Res BD. JB (5) 1. Norris’ Brookstream Brooklyn. Appealing youngster of only 10 months, good head developing on nice strong neck without any coarseness, good body with good ribs and well set tail, good rear angulation, moved and handled well. BB, Res BOB and BP. 2. O’Neill’s Tyburn Lotis. Another 10mth old puppy, good front and shoulders, should develop well, lots of promise. Res BB. 3. Thurlow’s Brenandi Genteel Gypsy at Erkenwyne. PGB (2) 1. Baldwin’s Browdel Belladonna for Nightstorm. This young lady has lots of virtues to admire, but just too heavy in front which also affected movement. 2. Smith’s Mansiya Midnight Graceful. Strong hindquarters, up to size. OB (3.1) 1. O’Neill’s Mimbre Minx to Megallan. Won this class on better head and expression, neat tidy ears, good eye, clean outlines, with good topline. 2. Palmer’s Ch Egloshayle Black Samphire. Not moving as good as 1, or the head and expression.
