A pleasing entry with some nice dogs present.

JD (0).

PGD (1)

1 Coleclough’s Digelsa Dark Druid, nice dog, good for size, dark eye, tan & markings, tail carried well on the move.

LD (1)

1 Robinson’s Churnet Chadwick, cracking dog I judged as a puppy & thought he would go far. All male although top size, excellent head & ears, well alert, nice marking, deep chest & good tuck up. A bit proud of his tail on the move, just lost out on movement for the challenge. RCC.

OD Three nice dogs that can change places at any time. My decision was down to movement.

1 Braybrook’s Gloryline Sir Thomas More, all male, good for size & bone, lovely masculine chiselled head, dark eye, good bite, neat ears up on top which he never stopped using, nice arch of neck leading into good shoulders, deep chest & tuck, tight feet, slight arch over loin, excellent bee sting tail carried well on the move, lovely clear tan & markings, shiny coat, moved soundly with plenty of drive. CC;

2 Green’s Newtonian Slim Shady, lots to like, strong male head, overall slightly larger than 1. Plenty of bone, good bite, carried ears well, good crest of neck & shoulders, deep chest & tuck, coat shone. Movement not so positive & seemed hard to settle which I know he can put in a good performance when he wants to;

3 O’Hara’s Ir/Int Ch Sophyla Sapper.

JB (4,1a)

1 Akrigg & Dunford’s Quixol Bret April, nice size & shape, feminine head, lovely dark eye, good bite, tan & markings good, best bee sting tail in the business which was carried well on the move;

2 Dunford & Akrigg’s Quixol Black Bryonia, 7 month baby who put in a good performance, feminine, nice make & shape, good markings, moved well enjoying her day. BP;

3 Braybrook’s Tudorbrook My Venturess.

PGB (1)
1 Baldwin's Browdel Belladonna For Nightstorm

LB (3,1)

1 Mr M & Miss S R Oxley's Digelsa Double Entendre, very feminine, good sized all round bitch, matured nicely, pretty head, dark almond eye, nice ears which she used, markings good, deep chest & tuck, excellent coat, good shoulders & front assembly, alert, moved showed & handled well. CC & BOB;

2 Clifton’s Gloryline Catherine Aragon, mature bitch with lots to like, nice head, good bite, dark eye, tight front, well marked, good shoulders, deep chest & tuck, moved OK.

OB (3,1)

1 Dunford & Akrigg’s Ch Quixol Betony, lovely mature feminine bitch with lots to like, pretty head, well used ears, good crest of neck & shoulders, plenty of heart room, great tuck-up, lovely bend of stifle, markings good, in top condition, moved showed & handled well, pushed hard in the challenge, very close. RCC;

2 Clifton’s Gloryline Tudor Annboleyn, liked this bitch when she came into the ring, well off for bone, good chiselled head, dark eye, excellent front & shoulders, markings, nice make & shape, good bend of stifle, carried tail well, pushed hard. Just needed a more positive movement.
