Welsh Kennel Club 2008 MANCHESTER JUDGE WELSH KC 08 Manchester Terriers MPD (2) 1 Leigh’s Sophyla Sorceror of Mansiya, most promising, really well made with excellent shape. Ears tending to fly at this stage. Good sized teeth, depth of body, topline & tailset, moved well in profile & forward movement, overall a lovely puppy, well handled. BP; 2 Dale’s Megellan Rumble in Rattustrap, nice puppy but not as mature as 1, balanced neat head, dark eye, neat well placed ears, straight front, adequate depth of body, nice topline, good reach in forward movement. PD (1) S Sorceror of M. JD (1)A PGD(5) 1 Pyne’s Newtonian Black Rod, pleasing & typical dog with a balanced head, dark eye, well placed neat ears, good shape to neck, straight front with good bone, good depth of body, nice topline, adequate turn of stifle, neat feet, moved well; 2 Coleclough’s Digelsa Dark Druid, balanced head, nice dark eye & pleasing proportions, good depth of body, nice topline with good tail placement. Preferred the crest of neck of 1 & was not as positive in movement; 3 Jeyne’s Browdel Black Muskateer. LD (2) 1 Braybrook’s Gloryline Sir Thomas More, this was a really balanced dog with good shaped head, dark eye, OK placement of ears, good sized teeth, nicely shaped body with adequate depth, good tail placement, correct feet but not moving well; 2 Boggi’s Eaglespur Prime Time at Laurenbill, this dog had a balanced head but not as positive as 1, nice dark eye, ears a pleasing shape & when interested he held them well, nice crest to the neck & adequate depth of body but on the move was padding a little in the forequarters. OD (8) 1 Norris’ Ch Brookstream Marcus Banks, he had the edge on ring presence & maturity, good head with nice dark eye & well placed ears, good body, topline & tailset, pleasing hindquarters & to complete the picture, he moved with style. CC, BOB; 2 Green’s Newtonian Slim Shady, lovely & well made dog with a balanced head, dark eye & well placed ears, nice crested neck, straight front with balanced bone, good depth of body, pleasing topline. Preferred the feet of 1 but had good profile movement with excellent forward reach. RCC; 3 Broxup’s Ch Digelsa Dig Deep at Brockenella. MPB (3) 1 Eva’s Sophyla Sally, pleasing & typical baby with a balanced head, dark eye but ears tending fly at this stage. Nicely crested neck, good straight front with balanced bone, pleasing depth of body & topline, good turn of stifle, neat feet & a well balanced & carried tail, good profile movement but tending to paddle a little at this stage, excellent coat; 2 Thurlow’s Brenandi Genteel Gypsy at Erkenwyne, finer than 1 but her head & body were nicely balanced. Her ears were at this stage of flying but hopefully they will settle. Nice straight front, pleasing depth of body, topline & feet, OK in profile movement but tending to paddle when coming towards; 3 O’Neill’s Megellan Thunder Bird. PB (7) 1 Norris’ Brookstream Brooklyn, very good puppy, balanced head, dark eye with lovely expression, good shaped ears, nicely crested neck, well bodied for age, good rearquarters, moved freely with good profile movement; 2 S Sally; 3 Braybrook’s Tudorbrook My Venturess. JB (2) 1 Knight’s Talanors Tomorrows Deams, most promising young girl with balanced head, dark eye, good shaped ears which just need to settle, good sized teeth, nice crest to neck, straight front with balanced bone, pleasing depth of body & topline, adequate turn of stifle, neat feet, good tail placement, free & balanced movement, excellent muscular condition; 2 Over’s Faolan Andromeda, had many pleasing features which included a dark eye with lovely expression, well placed neat ears, straight front with typical bone & balanced body but not moving as positive as 1. PGB (3) 1 Baldwin’s Browdel Belladonna for Night Storm, balanced head, dark eye with nice expression, well placed neat ears, straight forequarters with a balanced bone, OK depth of body, adequate hindquarters but would prefer more positive movement; 2 Brocklebank & Harrison’s Bellbrock Doris Day, had a neat but finer head than 1, dark eye with typical expression, well placed ears, good depth of body, neat feet, OK tail placement but would prefer more positive movement; 3 Forshaw’s Gloryline Lady Jane Grey. LB (6,1) 1 Brown & Arundel’s Browdel Beatrix Potter, well balanced bitch with pleasing proportions, good head, dark eye, neat ears just tending to fly a little. Good straight front with balanced bone, nice depth of body& turn of stifle, good positive movement. Would prefer a darker tan; 3 Clifton’s Gloryline Catherine Aragon. OB (9,4) 1 Oxley & Oxley’s Ch Digelsa Double Ententra, what a lovely elegant girl this is, I loved her to go over & she pleased in many departments, good balanced head, nice expression, neat well placed ears, crested neck, good fore & rear quarters, well constructed body in good condition, she moved freely with style & enthusiasm, very close in the challenge. CC; 2 Over’s Ch Kenmilfore Sweet Lass of Faolan, well balanced & worthy ch with many pleasing proportions, lovely expression, nice forehand, well bodied, sound rear, was positive in movement.
