My first time awarding CCs. The overall quality of the dogs was excellent.
The weather was super & the ring was of good size.

1 Blacker & Taylor’s Crossguns Richie Rich, b/br, lovely head shape for age, rose ears, dark eyes, correct bite, strong underjaw, clean front, well off for bone, feet OK, good amount of rib, nice tuck-up to backend, good tailset, moved OK;

2 Taylor & Hale’s Eskharn Jack Jones, b/br, not as strong as 1, but everything is there. Nice shape to his head, rose ears, dark eye, very clean muzzle, good bite, clean front, tight feet, level topline held on the move, good backend, moved OK;

3 Callaghan’s Bourtie Wot A Boy.

1 Stanway’s Waystaff Strikes Back, very classy pied, cracking head shape, rose ears, very dark eye with lovely eye placement, very clean muzzle, good front, nice depth to brisket, good tight feet, short in back, good spring of rib for age with good tuck-up to backend, hindquarters starting to muscle up nicely, correct tailset, moved very well & held topline on the move, should have a great show career ahead of him. BPD;

2 Byrne’s Trufflestaff Buru, strong b/br with good head, rose ears, dark eyes, correct bite, powerful strong underjaw, clean front, well off for bone, nice spring of rib, good backend, moved well;

3 Welsh’s Crossguns Black Eyed Pea at Staffwize.

1 Gibbs’ Tillcarr Pyroteknic, this classy b/br has got it all going for him, lovely blend of bull & terrier, cracking head, lovely rose ears, darkest of eyes with good placement, well defined stop, good strong muzzle, correct bite, lovely big teeth, very clean front, nice depth of brisket, the right amount of bone on well padded tight feet, well defined rib, nice tuck-up to backend, cracking topline, well muscled hindquarters which gave him powerful drive as you should have in a dog, good turn of stifle, correct tailset, he never stopped showing. CC. Has a great show career ahead of him & l think he will get many more CCs;

2 Small’s Merimna Mind Your Own, b/br, good head, dark eyes, good bite, strong muzzle, good clean front, nice depth of brisket, ample bone, good ribcage, well muscled backend, moved well & held his topline as he moved;

3 Ewart’s Grangestaff Razzmatazz.

3 McBride’s Spinellies Circuit Breaker.

1 Mace & Davies’ Ch Stormbull Solo, classy b/br dog who l judged as a pup, has matured very well & a worthy ch, cracking head, rose ears, dark eyes, very clean muzzle, correct bite, good clean front, nice depth to brisket, tight feet, gun barrelled rib, nice tuck-up to backend, good turn of stifle & well muscled hindquarters, moved very well & held his topline on the move, little separated him from my CC winner, they could change places at the next show. RCC;

2 Needham & Barlow’s Ch Stormpike Dark Lord, worthy ch, cracking head, rose ears, good eye placement, good underjaw, correct bite, clean front, tight feet, gun barrelled rib, lovely topline held on the move, well muscled backend, good turn of stifle, little between him & 1;

3 Asker’s Colliermans Lionheart at Dazmarnic.

1 Jackson & Whitehouse’s Bourtie Wot A Steal, b/br with a white blaze, has it all at this stage, won the class with ease, nice shape to head, rose ears, dark eyes, correct bite, very clean muzzle, lovely front, good feet, ample rib for age, good topline, nice backend, moved well;

2 Robinson’s Boydslass Bevin Belle, b/br, not as mature as 1. Head OK, rose ears, dark eye, correct bite, clean front, ample bone, & nice spring of rib, moved OK;

2 Beard’s Hasweth Truly Scrumptious, brindle, very nice head with rose ears & good dark eyes, nice length of muzzle, correct bite, good underjaw, clean front, tight feet, good ribcage, nice tuck-up to backend, nice turn of stifle, correct tailset, moved well. Slightly longer in back than 1;

3 Patrick & Harrison’s Trawden Jet Black.

1 Taylor’s Zapreba Secret Mission, very well balanced b/br, feminine head, rose ears, dark eyes, very clean muzzle, correct bite, lovely clean front, nice depth to brisket, well off for bone, good tight feet, gun barrelled rib, nice tuck-up to backend, good turn of stifle & well muscled backend & correct tailset, moved very well & held her topline as she moved. Close call between her & my RCC;

2 Wild’s Wildstaff Jo Black, very similar to 1 & little between these two, very nice bitch, they could change places another day. Good head, rose ears, dark eye, correct bite, clean front, well off for bone, tight feet, good ribcage, cracking topline held on the move, good backend, well muscled hindquarters, nice turn of stifle & good tailset, moved well;

3 Cairns’ Dinalghi Touch Of Class.

Very tough class with some lovely bitches in it.

1 Blacker & Wood’s Crossguns Sexy Thing at Bultery, classy brindle with white markings who I have judged before & has matured even more since then, sweetest of heads, not overdone in any way, lovely rose ears, dark eyes & great eye placement, well defined stop, nice length to muzzle & also very clean muzzle, correct bite with big teeth, cracking front with nice depth of brisket, lovely amount of bone & well padded tight feet, gun barrelled rib with a lovely tuck-up, good turn of stifle, well muscled backend, correct tailset, moved very well & held a cracking topline, one of my favourite bitches. CC, her third & a very worthy ch. BOB;

2 Taylor’s Ch Niatona To Sir With Love, b/br who pushed 1 all the way, very nice head shape, rose ears, dark eyes, nice length to muzzle, correct bite, very clean front, well off for bone, good tight feet, nice depth of brisket, gun barrelled rib, nice tuck-up to backend, good turn of stifle, well muscled backend, correct tailset, moved well & held topline on the move.
