Judge/s:Mrs M B Reeves

A lovely entry. It was of very mixed quality ranging from well presented top class exhibits to others with gunky eyes & scabby ears. These latter are unacceptable in the showring. They reflect poor stockmanship that the breed can do without.

PD (3,1a)

1 Grant’s Grancek Illya, dark grey. Preferred topline to 2, good bone, silky coat, good teeth, moved confidently;

2 Lewis’ Rossau Highflyer, liked his reach of neck but topline too flat. Good teeth. Coat rather woolly.

JD (5)

1 Withers’ Captain Crochet du Champ d’Eole, mid grey, pleasing masculine dog, good length of head, strong jaw, super outline, correct rise over rump, well developed muscular quarters, high placed hocks, shoulder well laid, good spring of rib, silky coat, brisk & assertive on the move. BD;

2 Evans’ Grancek Goodness Gracious Pendeavour, charcoal, strongly made dog, very good bone & correct topline, well ribbed. Shoulder not as good as 1. Moved out especially well;

3 Tobijanski’s Janski Danski.

PGD (1) A.

OD (6)

On the whole a disappointing class with many mouth faults spoiling otherwise good exhibits.

1 Taylor’s Polede Lforluka, dark grey, not the most confident of show dogs but there is a lot to like. Pleasing neck, shoulder placement & topline, well placed hocks, silky coat & good teeth. Can move correctly when he chooses. RBD;

2 Marett’s Ridley Javor, mid grey, liked his shoulder placement but would prefer more reach of neck. Masculine head, well placed ears & deep set dark eyes;

3 Marett’s Pajanticks Zidane.

PB (3,1)

1 Atter’s Ridley Pamatka, charcoal, top quality puppy of excellent make & shape, lovely reach of neck into well laid shoulders & correctly rising topline, straight front, round feet & silky coat, feminine head, well placed ears & dark eyes, moved out freely. BP, PG4;

2 Taylor’s Rylandson Candy Twist, charcoal, white marking on chest, quite nice shape. Down on her pasterns in front & hocks behind.

JB (3,1)

1 Tobyanski’s Janski Danuska, dark grey, very nice bitch, excellent topline, strong neck, very good bone, well padded feet, high placed hocks, good length of head, high set ears & dark eyes, good teeth & silky coat, good brisk movement;

2 Lewis’ Rossau Raindonna, brindled/gr, head shape quite pleasing, good teeth. Would prefer straighter front & coat rather woolly.

PGB (5)

1 Burrage’s Vandell Sweet Song, dark grey, correct topline, well placed shoulders, high hocks, straight front & well sprung ribs, correctly proportioned feminine head;

2 Burnett’s Woodstrode Elba of Komina, dark grey, close up to 1. Slightly heavier in type but well constructed all through & moved well;

3 Grant’s Grancek Electra.

OB (9,1)

Excellent class with quality right down the line.

1 Atter’s Gloria Kvitko, dark grey, the complete package, really lovely bitch with all the quality you could wish for. BOB;

2 Tobijanski’s Janski Celtic Ceska, mid grey, high quality exhibit of excellent type from her well proportioned head, lovely neck, shoulder & topline to her high set hocks. Sound & stylish on the move. RBB;

3 Fewings’ Komidion Jacara.
