Usk Showground, Gwernesney, Near Usk, Mon Judge(s) Miss Muriel Bailey BD TALYOT DAMOCLES (MRS L RICHARDSON)
PD 1 Grant’s Grancek Illya, good 9 months youngster, very happy & outgoing, well proportioned & balanced exhibit who dealt with the ground well. JD Grant’s Grancek Hope N Pray, good head, well placed ears, nice eye, well made body, well muscled for his age, moved well both ways, nicely placed tail correctly carried; 2 Evans’ Grancek Goodness Gracious Pendevour, I did no critique on this exhibit as he left the ring. However, I did note he had a high set tail. PGD 1 Burrows’ Rossau Poet, not happy being handled on the table & was not a settled exhibit. Perhaps upset with the conditions. OD Rather spoilt for choice in this class, three very good exhibits. 1 Richardson’s Talyot Damocles, very good masculine head, correct stop, good eye, strong neck into well placed shoulders, well made body, correct rise over loin, one which I have judged before, however today moved & behaved impeccably. BD; 2 Marett’s Pajanticks Zidane, at 10 years what a super veteran who challenged very hard for top place, so much to like about this fella. Beautifully constructed, pleasing head, good eye, well placed ears, well muscled neck & good shoulders. A privilege to go over. RBD; 3 Marett’s Ridley Javor. PB 1 Clarke’s Pendevour Pheel The Rhythm, at just 6 months what a delightful youngster, very well balanced, good head & pleasing expression, good mouth, nicely made body, correct rise over loin, well set on tail correctly carried. A little unsettled in the class but pulled herself together to win BP. JB 1 Richardson & Kavanagh’s Talyot Foxglove, well presented youngster. Not too happy with the conditions, tending to tuck herself up. However to handle feminine head with pleasing expression, compact body & well muscled, moved well over the ground. PGB 1 Burrage’s Vandell Sweet Song, pleasing head, A little light in eye. Compact body, well muscled, moved over ground well; 2 Samson’s Igglesden Komidion Keluri Lastarean. OB 1 Marett’s Malsville Lincoln Ridley, a hard decision to make between 1 & 2. This was finally made on movement as this bitch dealt with the ground better. 10½ yet another excellent veteran, feminine head, good neck, well placed shoulders, good ribcage, nice rise over loin, correctly carried tail, well muscled throughout, well developed hocks which enabled her to cover the ground so well. BOB; 2 Marett’s Gayteckels Highflyer, such an attractive exhibit, beautifully presented with all the attributes of 1, her kennelmate. Sadly did not approve of the grass today. RBB: 3 Fewings’ Komidion Jacara.
