West Highland White Terrier
I found very few mouth problems, although a few had very small teeth the bites were mostly correct.
2 Disley’s Acredam Ursa Major, good puppy with a lot to like about him, well proportioned head, strong body & quarters. Just preferred the outline & balance of 1; 3 Strand’s Westlake Jack The Lad. PD (4,1a) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Stand And Deliver, mature puppy who really caught my eye, super head, correct bite, neatest of ears, correct reach of neck, short back, strong quarters, tail bang on top on the move, presented to perfection with ample coat of good quality. BP; 2 Britten’s Krisma Spitnpolish, super puppy, well made head, ample neck running into near perfect shoulder placement, short coupled, tail bang on top on the move, strong quarters, moved with drive. I would have liked him a bit higher on the leg to give a slightly better balance but he has got time on his side; 3 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Loyal Leader. JD (6,4) 1 Gordon’s Lamsmore Fitzwritin, beautifully presented well made dog, correct head, neck & shoulder placement, short coupled, very good front, strong well muscled hindquarters, have admired him from the ringside & was not disappointed when I went over him, should have a bright future; 2 Stock’s Lindenka Baxter, well made dog, however did he not present such a complete picture as. Slightly longer cast & failed to move with the same drive as 1. However still a lot to like about him. GD (4) 1 Tullis’ Drumsheugh True Grit, he lives up to his name, caused his handle a few problems with his exuberance, super head, one of the best of the day, typical Westie expression, neat ears, good reach of neck, short level back, correct tailset, strong front & hindquarters, moved with drive, happier on the move than when stacked, a well presented dog, liked him a lot; 2 Ladhams’ Carliol September Song at Juraspirit, strong dog that did not want to cooperate with his owner. Pleasant head, muscular neck, shoulders OK, level back. On the move he decided not to cooperate with his handler; 3 Fletcher-King’s Kellbany White Wizard. PGD (8,2) 1 Davison’s Antonia Apple Pie at Braxquin, strongly made well handled dog with a coat of correct texture, strong head, correct bite, ample reach of neck, well laid back, shoulders level, back both stacked & on the move, showed himself to advantage; 2 Taylor’s Birkfell Second Chance, slightly smaller type, very good head & expression, acceptable layback of shoulder, lovely harsh jacket, good front, muscular hindquarters, moved well; 3 Budge’s Rozamie Icicle. LD (9,1) A super class led by 1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Play The Game, I have admired this dog from the first time I saw him, strong masculine head, correct scissor bite, muscular neck running into well laid back shoulders, good front, compact body, strong muscular hindquarters that really powered him around the ring, a powerful dog who did not let himself or his handler down. CC & BOB. On this form should easily make it to the upper house; 2 Purchon’s Lindenka Bennington, very good dog, as all the dogs in this class were, the best of heads, correct bite, strong muscular neck, compact body, very good quarters, moved with drive & when standing, no topping & tailing for this one; 3 Magri & Marsden’s Walknonair Mister Rozamie. OD (7,4) 1 Squire’s Ch Bellevue Spirit Catcher, ch dog in all ways, have admired him from afar & was not disappointed going over him, strong head, good reach of neck, strong body, really covered the ground on the move, beautifully presented. RCC; 2 Dunne’s Havasu Pai, eyecatching dog, head OK, correct bite, good reach of neck, well laid back shoulders, short coupled, tail on top, moved really well, put down to perfection. Unlucky to meet 1; 3 Dale’s Lynnsto Pellam. MPB (8,4) 1 Molony’s Killynether Krazy For You, this one had a ‘look at me’ attitude, on sparkling form, pretty head, neat ears, correct bite, correct length of neck, short coupled, very good quarters, profuse coat of good quality, well presented; 2 Kabel’s Llovall A Fine Romance, pretty bitch with a very good head, clean neck & shoulders, short coupled well set tail, strong quarters, strong coat that was well presented. Unfortunately something seemed to upset her on the move so she did not give her best; 3 Strand’s Westlake Pearly Lady. PB (4) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Ultraviolet, litter sister to the PD & the same remarks apply, a feminine version of the dog. BPB; 2 Jennings’ Wistonant Anastasia of Comdale, different type to 1 but very eyecatching, pretty head, neat small ears, good reach of neck, level back, moved well, well presented & handled; 3 Hughes’ Brychdyn Kite Mark. JB (9,4) 1 Smith’s Lorbri Motown Magic, magic she is, head of correct proportions, lovely expression, neat ears, good reach of neck running into well laid back shoulders, short coupled, very good front, well angulated hindquarters, held her topline well on the move, presentation A1, showed herself to perfection. RCC; 2 Sizmore’s Lamsmore Miss Demeanour, very well put together feminine bitch, good front head & shoulder, well angulated, moved well; 3 Smith’s Lingbeck Leading Lady. GB (3) 1 Dingley’s Davot Chi Ki, quality bitch, good head, neck & shoulder, good shoulder placement, strong body & quarters, coat of good quality & well presented. Would have liked her to give a bit more today but she could not be denied her place; 2 Disley’s Acredam Star Chaser, well made bitch, pleasing head, good reach of neck, clean shoulders, level back, good front & hindquarters, moved well; 3 Barrington’s McHolglyn Cotton Candy. PGB (12,1) 1 West’s Tomlyndon Look Of Love, attractive bitch with a lovely expression, strongly built, good front & rear, tail on top, really covered the ground on the move. Would have preferred a little less coat to complete the picture; 2 Squire’s Krisma Joyride, bitch out of the top drawer, pleasing head, neat ears, good reach of neck, well laid back shoulders running into a short back, tail bang on top, strong quarters, moved with drive, well presented; 3 Milner’s Juanne Gin ‘N’ Just A Dash. LB (8,3) 1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Lilac Wine, quality bitch, good head, neat small ears, good reach of neck, pleasing shoulders, good front & hindquarters, well bodied, moved with drive with tail on top, beautifully presented; 2 Coley’s Kingsview Make Or Break, same remarks apply, unlucky to meet 1; 3 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Pebble. OB (9,4) 1 Kabel’s Krisma Roll The Dice for Llovall, ultra feminine bitch, very good head proportions giving a true Westie expression, correct length of neck, well laid back shoulders, short coupled, very good quarters, nothing exaggerated about her, moved with free & easy strides on a loose lead, a joy to watch. CC; 2 Edmondson’s Ch Pepabby Priceless, worthy ch, full of quality, handled to perfection. Had to take 2nd today as I felt she was carrying a little too much weight; 3 Hands’ Come Fly With Me.
