1 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Augury, 7 months, well shaped head, straight front, reasonable shoulder, good topline. Tail carriage could be better. Good coat & pelt, moved soundly, promising; 2 Glynn’s Brimpton Trust, quality youngster, 8 months, pleasing head, front OK, in good coat. Not quite the balance of 1 as yet. Moved out well, should do well; 3 White & Bailey’s Horncall Ice. Puppy Dog (3) 1 B Trust; 2 Owen’s Kannye Boltmout, 10 months, pleased in head & eye, clean outline, good coat & pelt. Needs to grow through knuckle to improve front. Moved OK. Junior Dog (5) 1 Roberts & Todd’s Mindlen Rabbit, liked this young dog very much, typy head, good front & shoulder, coat good as was his topline & nicely ribbed back. Featured in the challenge just needs to firm up behind, should go all the way; 2 Tagg’s Rynshott Uno-Able, another who pleased, slightly more on the leg than 1, good coat & pelt. Not quite the shoulder of 1. Good outline, moved soundly; 3 Thomas’ Neelan’s Midnight Runner at Squirreldine. Novice Dog (1) 1 Moore’s Moonreapers Billy Bones, smooth, well constructed, dark eye, front OK, easily spanned. Just needs to settle. Graduate Dog (2) 1 Chapman & Furgason’s Foxwarren Swimbridge Rebel, heavily marked, reasonable head, good outline, angulation OK, moved out positively, in good coat; 2 Ellis’ Ammanday Attraction under Blueroof, all white, pleased in head, straight front. A shade steep in shoulder. Nicely ribbed back, in good coat, moved OK. Post Graduate Dog (3) 1 Walker’s Matsstar Midnight Miracle, nice head if a shade strong, clean neck & shoulder, spannable, good coat texture, quarters good, moved well; 2 Hall’s Frithgarth Jack Frost, good coat & pelt, reasonable head, up to size. Could be more positive behind; 3 Broadberry’s Ratscallion How Dare You. Limit Dog (6) 1 Richards’ Pacolito Walteezer, up to size but well balanced, scores in head & muzzle, clean front & shoulder, good topline, in good coat, quarters good, sound on the move; 2 Bygate’s Windynook Jexkyl Or Hyde, pleased in head & overall quality, standing impressed, not giving his all on the move, quality & close up; 3 Highfield’s Bradpole Blanc De Blancs. Open Dog (10) 1 Brown & Grange’s Ch Afinlea Roadside Skipper, liked his size & balance, scores in head with good front & shoulder. Neck could be cleaned out a shade to enhance. Spannable & ribbed back, strong quarters, very sound on the move. CC; 2 Tagg’s Rymshott Strider, another typy & sound male of good size & balance. Similar remarks to 1 & little to choose, not quite the presence of 1 but very close up. RCC; 3 Philp’s Sp/Por/Gib Ch Muhlross Melrosian. Minor Puppy Bitch (9) 1 Copping’s Horncall Wizz A Dora by Rutaaro, 8 months, most promising youngster, well shaped head, keen eye, good front & shoulder, good topline, sound on the move with lots of presence; 2 Philp’s Saona Sunshine over Muhlross, another promising youngster, looking well for her 6 months, feminine yet with enough substance, moved out well with confidence; 3 Rimmer’s Kylini Munthmyst. Puppy Bitch (5) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Phortune Monkey, 10 months, liked her very much, lovely head & eye, good front, shoulder & topline, good quarters, sound mover, should go all the way. BP; 2 Newport’s Pacolito Premiere, litter sister to 1 & same remarks apply, not quite as positive behind as 1, should have a good future; 3 Parr & Swift’s Pacoloito Picpocket. Junior Bitch (7) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Phirstclass, liked her well shaped feminine head, good front & shoulder, another from this typy kennel, good outline, moved out well; 2 Parr & Swift’s Pacolito Picture Monkey, pleased in head, a touch heavy in ear. Good front, topline & quarters, moved out well, promising; 3 Hooley’s Mindlen Blue Bottle of Hoolmark. Novice Bitch (2) 1 Collis’ Alncroft Tribute to Riplington, nice little bitch who pleased very much, feminine well shaped head, good front & body, topline & quarters good, sound positive mover; 2 Steel’s Gaysayno The Dancer, pleasing head if a shade long in muzzle, good front & in good coat, outline pleased. Carrying a little excess weight but moved out well. Graduate Bitch (7) 1 Smith & Moon’s Alncroft Everlong, head pleased with clean front. Could have a touch more length of body. Topline & quarters good as was her coat texture & movement; 2 Chapman’s Foxwarren Crackers, likes her head, ears need to settle. Clean front & nicely ribbed back, quarters & movement good; 3 Newport’s Pacolito Xpectation. Post Graduate Bitch (8) 1 Smith’s Bethane Hulabaloo, quality bitch who I liked very much, up to size but nicely balanced & sound, well shaped feminine head, clean outline, well presented; 2 Pell’s Olliebark That’s My Girl, nice size with well shaped feminine head, front OK. Not quite the shoulder of 1. Nice outline, sound on the move, quality bitch & close up; 3 Parr & Swift’s Pacolito Phlirt. Limit Bitch (5) 1 Bygate’s Pacolito Xsquisite at Windynook, well made typy bitch who pleased in head & overall balance, nice neck & shoulder with clean front, outline good. Coat a little sparse but texture good, moved true; 2 Lightfoot’s Middlemoss The Only One, pleased for type & overall balance, outline & quarters good, moved out well. Ran 1 very close, quality; 3 Baker’s Pacolito Pathfinder. Open Bitch (11) 1 Smith & Moon’s Ch Paclito Phantastic at Alncroft, lovely bitch, most pleasing head & expression, scores in front & neck, clean outline, born showgirl, very sound on the move, has such presence. CC & BOB; 2 Baker’s Pacolito X Rated, impressed for type & size, good outline, sound on the move. Not quite the presence of 1 but very close up, made for a difficult decision in a very strong class.
