PARSON JUDGE WELSH KC 08

Parson Russell Terriers

My first opportunity to award CCs. I was pleased to go over so many excellent examples of the correct type & conformation, making the experience special for me.

PD (2)

1 BP, Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Augury, promising young dog, keen eye, good jaw, thick rough coat & pelt, plenty of bone, strongly constructed & nicely balanced, moves well;

2 Sollis’ Mister Bonamonty, lovely type, good double coat, attractive head & topline leading to nicely set tail.

JD (0).

PGD (4,1a)

1 Samway’s Cassacre Outrider, really nice type, correct head with keen dark eyes & shallow stop, good front & shoulder construction leading to a pleasing topline & tailset;

2 Hadley & Sollis’ Cleeve Hill Full Monty, attractive young dog with pleasing head, good coat texture, nice front & topline, strong rear;

3 Ellis’ Ammanday Attraction under Blueroof.

LD (6,1)

1 Chapman’s Foxwarren Buddy, very nice tri, good head & topline, one of the few dogs on the day who could be spanned, neatly constructed, trim front, pleasing movement;

2 Samway’s Cassacre Mandolin, lovely head, keen expression, strong front, good length of body, nice tail carriage;

3 Doyle’s Alne Masterpiece of Ilexquercus.

1 CC & BOB, Milne’s Glenholm Dylan, was BOB last time I judged him & I was pleased to have the opportunity to award him a CC, very smart tri, keen dark eye, narrow front, strong back & loins giving excellent movement, great attitude;

2 RCC, Tagg’s Rymshott Strider, handsome dog with strong head, narrow front, well sprung ribs & well angulated at rear;

3 Denby-Gardner’s Olesenstar Vesper Bell at Ammanday.

PB (7,2)

1 Curran’s Skorrier Laughing Out Loud, sweet head with a keen expression, lovely harsh smooth coat, nice narrow front & well laid back shoulders, good tailset, moved well in the class;

2 Bigland’s Heythrop Tiadrop, neat head, good double coat, well boned for her size with compact feet & strong quarters;

3 Doyle’s Ilexquercus Rosy Rustic.

JB (5)

1 RCC, Chapman’s Foxwarren Lynton Lady, lovely feminine bitch of the right size, correct earset & bite, narrow front, great to span, good angulation & movement;

2 Farrow’s Halshimoor Final Fling, really nice typy tri, good all over conformation, in good condition, will challenge the best when she matures;

3 Hadley’s Heythrop Tiastorm.

PGB (6,1)

1 Samway’s Saucy Nancy Cassacre, classic wedge-shaped head with shallow stop & keen dark eye, neat front & shoulders, balanced all round angulation;

2 Doyle’s Mindlen Moth of Ilexquercus, rough tri, a nice size with a strong head, shoulders well laid back & good movement;
