NORWICH JUDGE WINDSOR 08

Norwich Terriers

I know Norwich can be very difficult to show & often they start to give up, but I was disappointed that some exhibitors did not try hard enough to get the best from their dogs, especially in the bitch challenge which cost them higher awards.

PD (2)

1 Mason’s Glenhafod Red Dragon, 9 months wheaten, well presented puppy in a small frame with a good coat, lovely head, dark oval eye & well placed ears, strong neck & shoulders, nice in outline with level topline & tail on top, moved out well when settled, handled well;

2 Willard’s Great Expectations, b\t who sadly was not at all happy. Nice in type & conformation.

JD (2)

1 Stevens’ Bricken Lets Twist Again, won this class on type, he has a nice head with dark eye & well placed ears, good topline & tail carriage. Would have liked stronger quarters;

2 Kirkpatrick’s Tynallt Trouble Shooter, good head, neck & shoulders, level topline. Quarters need to tighten. Moved OK.

PGD (1)

1 Jones’ Rhythem And Blues at Zippor, b\t in good harsh coat, nice in head & eye, correct front & length to rib with level topline & tail on top, very well handled.

LD (2,1)

1 Crawley & Jones’ Ragus Ovation, b\t of good type, nice overall shape with good level topline, well bodied, good length to rib, super quarters which made this dog sound & able to move out so well.

OD (3)

1 Crawley’s Ch Ragus Rings True, he certainly does, I could write superlatives all day about this dog, but the best way to describe him is – read the Standard, see the dog. What a true showman, who headed a really strong class of three very good Norwich. CC, BOB & G3;

2 Chamber’s Rouletta Havin A Good Thyme, really nice dog, on good form, with nice harsh coat that was well trimmed, good head with dark eye & strong mouth, sound front & rear movement, Liked him a lot, RCC;

3 Needham’s Ch Titanium Columbus. V 1 Wilson’s Elve Forest Witch, 9 years r\wh bitch, has sweet head with good oval eye, nice in type & size although a little overweight which effected her movement.

PB (3)

1 Crawley’s Ragus Got The Look, another really nice Norwich from this kennel, has all the makings of following in her kennelmate’s footsteps, although only a youngster she has wonderful drive & gave all in the challenge, as did her owner, to others a lesson to be learnt, which is why I gave her the CC;

2 Needham’s Titanium Paint Your Wagon, really nice puppy to watch out for, with real quality, this little b\t lady has lovely head & expression, good mouth, showed so well when she settled, with her owner not giving in to her, which gave her the RCC;

3 Stoddart’s Ragus Much Jubilation at Millvalley.

JB (2)

1 Barrell’s Barwest Beech Nut, b\t of nice type & size, well bodied with good length to rib, nice head with oval dark eye, moved out well. Just lacks spark;

2 Corkhill’s Wild Fantasy at Redash, very nice youngster, has all the attributes but unfortunately did not want to show herself. PGB (5)

1 Willard’s Crivnor Troubles Brewing, nice type, good outline with super head, good sound quarters which gave her a sound movement;

2 Martins’ Baktwins Follow That Dream, good in type, good head & eye, ears set well. Just lacking coat; 3 Chambers’ Rouletta Thyme for Rosielea.

LB (6,2)

1 Willard’s Ragus Inspiration, nice size & type, well bodied with good rib, sound quarters which allowed free movement. Just didn’t give all in the challenge;

2 Corkhill’s Redash Time Goes By, nice sound bitch of good shape, moved out well but would prefer a better length to rib for her size;

3 Whitworth’s Aquest Vanilla Vixon.

OB (3,2)

1 Jones’ Ch Jaeva Jingle Bell Rock with Zipper, b\t, good in type, sweet in head with nice expression, well bodied & in good coat, moved OK.
