Dandie Dinmont Terrier
V (2) A. PD (4,1a) 1 Hulme & Hunter’s Hendell Alphonse with Etsill, nice 8 months mustard, lovely topline, good coat coming through, moved well when he wanted to; 2 Smethurst’s Dawsholm Dapper Davoc, 10 months pepper, good masculine head, good mouth, nice coat, moved well, nice Dandie. Just preferred length & topline of 1; 3 Carter’s Cassencarrie James Blonde. YD (3) 1 Cooper’s Margham Feather Duster, very typical pepper with lovely head, eye & mouth, good coat, long body, happy dog but needs ring practice; 2 Kelly & Hobson’s Swanwillow Jack Manii, mustard, good head with dark eyes, nice mouth, good front, coat a little soft; 3 Osbourne’s Puddockswell Amber Melody for Braego. PGD (2) 1 Morris’ Needwood Fancyman at Pennywave, mustard, lovely coat texture, two deep colours, nice body length, lovely head, dark eyes, showed well; 2 Fisher’s Mosterlada Who Dares Wins at Gypsywis, smaller type than 1, good pepper coat, nice topline & tailset, nicely presented. LD (2) A. OD (6,2) 1 Deacon’s Cassencarrie C’est La Vie, have admired him from the ringside, very typical Dandie, good head, dark eyes, lovely pepper jacket, correct size & length, good front, moved well, I believe this CC is his third. CC & BOB; 2 Bannister’s Ch Banburg Alfresco, lovely balanced dog, heavier boned than 1, very masculine. Would like crisper coat texture & more colour. Moved well. RCC. PB (7,2) Pleased to see five nice puppies, I wish there had been a MP class. 1 Deacon’s Cassencarrie Red Ribbon, quality puppy nearly 12 months, good head & body length, held topline on move, good mustard coat, moved well. BP; 2 McLeod’s Dawsholm Meg Merrilies from Healaval, nice feminine head, good body length, lovely mustard coat, moves well; 3 Shore’s Swanwillow Passion Flower. YB (3,1) 1 Smith’s Somercloud Starprize, very feminine mustard, long weasley body, good coat, moved OK; 2 Fisher’s Gypsywish Just Like Mum, nice head, good body length, nice jacket, moved OK. PGB (5,1) 1 Hunter’s Hendell Sweet Pickle of Etsill, small feminine pepper, nice head, dark eyes, good body length carrying a good jacket, moved well & well presented; 2 Morris’ Hendell Tassel at Pennywave, good coated mustard, nice feminine head, well presented; 3 Brooke’s Dengold Cutty Sark of Berdinbrook. LB (7,2) 1 Shore’s Swanwillow Savannah, quality mustard, nice length, good head, excellent mouth, profuse topknot, moved well. Would prefer a little less coat as this hid her correct shape, very well handled. CC, her third; 2 Mannia’s Wazzly Persephone at Kirskill, pepper, smaller type than 1, lovely feminine head, dark eyes, excellent mouth, good body shape, moved well, lower to ground than 3. RCC; 3 Deacon’s Cassencarrie Habit Forming. OB (5,3) 1 Motler’s Wazzly Aphrodite very well proportioned mustard, good bone, feminine head, rich mustard jacket of correct texture, moved OK: 2 Hughes’ Maganbars Play Misty For Me, pepper, smaller than 1, pretty head, long bodied with nice outline, moved OK.
