Judge: Mr K Derry

Generally I thought that soundness & overall quality was not too evident; strength of bone & in some cases muscle was lacking. Too many dirty mouths & a sad case of resultant infection in one exhibit. However, the exhibits were clean & without exception well groomed.

PD (2,1a)

1 Kerrush’s Inzievar Royal Gold, 8 months mustard, strong masculine head, good width of skull, eyes set well, strong muzzle, clean big teeth, strong bite, strength in neck into well laid shoulders, balanced, nice shape standing & on the move, moved well with confidence, nice coat coming with correct texture. BP & placed well in the puppy group.

JD (4)

1 Kelly & Hobson’s Swanwillow Jackmanii, mustard, good head properties, dark eye, strength of muzzle, clean teeth, correct bite, well laid shoulders & front angulation, nice shape & balance. Coat will improve overall picture;

2 Cooper’s Margham Feather Duster, pepper, nice shape. Not head of 1. Good body, deep chest. Not moving well behind as one would like;

3 Butcher’s Puddockswell Gorgeous George for Daiszana.

PGD (4,1)

1 Eve’s Penactiv Dream Dealer at Sylvanken, mustard, nice shape, good coat, good front angulation & feet, won on movement;

2 Brookes’ Cassencarrie Cardamon of Berdingbrook, pepper. Not the balance of 1. In good coat, moved well. Tail spoilt outlook;

3 Morris’ Needwood Fancy Man at Pennywave.

LD (5)

1 Deacon’s Cassencarrie C’est La Vie, pepper, quality dog, nice shape & balanced, soundly constructed, strong masculine head, strength in muzzle, correct bite, clean teeth, strong neck into well laid shoulders, coat will finish the picture, moved very well & purposefully. Will do very well I am sure;

2 Cadwallader’s Bettymac Sunsamba, mustard, strength in head, masculine, well laid shoulders, correct body, in good coat, moved well holding topline;

3 Weatherstone’s Hendell Beau Brummel at Borderstone.

OD (2)

1 Buist & Jamieson’s Ch Inzievar Silver Gilt, pepper, I have admired this one afar but today was put to the test & came out on top in movement & front construction. Presented in excellent condition, good coat of correct texture & length, strongest of heads, dark eye, strength of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, good front, strong bone, correct body, good rear angulation, moved very well. CC & BOB:

2 Bannister’s Ch Banburg Alfresco, has improved with age, presented & handled to perfection, many of the attributes of 1. Preferred head & front of 1. Most certainly made it a very hard call to decide. RCC.

PB (3,1)

1 Bromley’s Mishahda Tempting Touch, 11 months pepper, very feminine head, nice neck into well laid shoulders, nice shape, good front, true coat of correct type, moves very well behind although handicapped by the handler’s physical restraint at this time which ultimately paid the price in the puppy challenge. Must have a promising future;

2 Heywood’s Schallulleke Clara Jones, mustard. A little unsettled but has promise. Very feminine, dark eye, going through the puppy stage, good shoulders & front, in good quality coat, will watch her progress.

JB (6,1)

1 Deacon’s Cassencarrie Habit Forming, pepper, caught my eye coming into the ring, very feminine, good head, dark eye, strong clean teeth, correct balance & shape, soundly constructed, excelled on the move. If wanted anything it would be a little more coat to finish the picture. CC;

2 Shore’s Swanwillow Savannagh, mustard, eye catching exhibit. Not comfortable moving with the handler. Quality feminine bitch, soundly constructed, nice shape & balance. Not shown to advantage. In full coat of correct type & texture, will do very well I am sure;

3 Denham’s Dentgate Sencerity.

PGB (6)

1 C Habit Forming;

2 Denham’s Dentgate Serendipity, pepper, nice shape & balance, nice straight front, correct body shape, good neck into well laid shoulders, moving well. Just needs to coat up more to finish the picture;

3 Hunter’s Hendell Sweet Pickle of Etsill.

LB (4,2)

1 Weatherstone & Heywood’s Schalulleke Blueprint for Borderstone, pepper, soundly constructed, feminine, good head, dark eye, clean strong teeth, strength of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, correct topline, nice shape & balance both moving & standing, moved very well. RCC;

2 Jarvis’ Mosterlada Shooting Star, mustard, presented & handled in excellent condition, many of the qualities of 1. Preferred front of 1 & lost out on movement.

OB (1) 1 Hughes’ Meganbars Play Misty For Me, pepper, nice head. Would prefer darker eye. Good neck into well laid shoulders, nice shape, moved well.
