BORDER JUDGE WELSH KENNEL CLUB 16

Border Terriers

VD (2)

1 Bortino High Society, a dog of good type & size with a balanced head, good eye, correct mouth. He has a true front with spannable ribs & a well set tail on good quarters. Showed steadily & was BV;

2 Bordella Day Tripper, this dog had a clean outline & made the most of himself. Quality head, dark eye, clean neck & shoulders, fit strong body but not as precise on the move as the winner.

MPD (1)

1 Beaconpike Darkest Night, a promising youngster of good size with a balanced head giving a good expression, clean over the neck & shoulder, narrow front with a good topline, lovely coat texture, stood alone & was a touch unsure of himself on the move, just needs time to gain more experience.

PD (3)

1 Blewcourt Zeus, a good type of dog who I think still needs to grow on a little, very racy throughout, pleasing head & eye, spans easily with a loose pelt but could have carried more coat on the day. Free on the move but at times lost his outline, but a good happy temperament;

2 Cynetkoys Gameplan, a dog with a bigger frame with a strong masculine head, dark eye, well placed ears, carrying a good body & presented a good outline, muscular quarters;

3 Chatmoss Locksmith.

JD (3,1a)

1 Hawcoat Mr Fixit, an attractive bl/t with a very well prepared coat, he has a good head with neat ears, correct mouth, very good front with well placed shoulders, pleasing topline & well set tail. On the move he was free moving & covered plenty of ground;

2 Southash Deputy Sheriff at Smurfski, another good headed dog of correct type, typical head & eye with well placed shoulders, strong topline & well developed ribs, presents a good outline by using his tail correctly & was in lovely coat.

ND (1)

1 Brockwork Blue Divide, a strongly made dog of good type, he has a good expression, neat ear & correct mouth. Both standing & on the move he kept his topline, muscular quarters, well set tail used correctly, well presented coat of good texture.

GD (1)

1 Foxfactor Scotts Briar, a balanced dog with a strong masculine head with dark eyes & neat ears, well placed shoulders giving correct front movement, firm topline & correct tailset with well angulated quarters.

PGD (4,1)

1 Foxfactor Crime Of Passion, a dog of very good type, he has a typical head giving a good expression, slightly untidy in ear, lovely front construction with a good topline & well set tail, muscular quarters, free moving & very racy throughout;

2 Kyscafter Frosty Jack, an attractive headed dog with good eye & expression on lovely neck & shoulders maintaining his topline & used his tail correctly, maybe a touch heavier than ideal;

3 Orangebox Arcade Fire.

LD (10,2)

1 Stineval Napoleon, a very well balanced bl/t with a very attractive head giving such a good expression, he stood & moved correctly & was very sound & true both coming & going with lovely quarters. Presented in super coat & condition, spans without doubt. Pleased to award him the CC, apparently his third, well done;

2 Dandyhow Galloping Gourmet, an attractive dog, very racy & free moving, he has a typical head, good eye giving the correct expression, enough bone for his size, presented a good outline when free standing, in harsh well textured coat. Not quite the maturity of first but won the RCC in good competition;

3 Raleniro Second Time Around.

OD (4,1)

1 Mansergh Burne Jones, a grizzle of super type & size, racy with a balanced head, neat ear, correct mouth, well placed shoulders, spans easily, short coupled & with good quarters. On the move he did not give of his best, giving the impression he would rather be off the lead & running free when you would see a different picture;

2 Foxpaws Pipps Cross, a dog with a very nice outline, he has an attractive head, good eye, correct mouth, stands well in front, lovely neck & shoulder & a well carried tail, in good coat; 3 Bartino Red Emperor.

VB (5,2)

1 Lutrabeck Layla, a grizzle of nice type & size, lovely head & eye, correct mouth. She has a true front with good ribs that span easily, well set tail, in good form for her age;

2 Bartino Smiling Queen, an attractive headed bitch with dark eye & neat ears, presents a good outline, perhaps a touch longer coupled than the winner. Showed steadily;

3 Badgerbeck Tree Pipit at Tilmoray.

MPB (3)

1 Foxpaw Revelation, a promising puppy with a sweet head & eye, good angulation at both ends & carrying sufficient body for her age, good coat texture. She made a very pleasing picture on the move;

2 Oxcroft Ragtrade, another promising pup who pushed the winner hard. Not as steady on the move as the winner but should have a bright future;

3 Beaconpike Total Eclipse.

PB (1)

1 Benattivo Fire Flower, a lovely pup from any angle, so well balanced throughout & immaculately presented. She has a quality head, good eye & correct mouth, lovely topline that flows from well placed shoulders, spans easily, muscular quarters & a natural showgirl. BP.

JB (10,1)

1 Stineval Malizia, a bl/t in super condition. She has a sweet head & eye giving a good expression, true front & like her kennelmate very sound on the move benefitting from good shoulders & lovely hind angulation;

2 Chorbeck Gossip Girl at Blackmine, a lovely headed bitch with well placed shoulders, true front & a good topline, another well presented coat of good texture, another with a bright future;

3 Foxfactor Fancy Free.

NB (3,1)

1 F Revelation;

2 Colourbox Orange Pippin with Swingwing, a bitch of pleasing size & shape, quite well balanced throughout but not as settled on the move.

GB (8,1)

1 Benattivo Good News for Barterhound, a grizzle with the most lovely outline, attractive head & eye, good topline & used her tail well. She was very sound both coming & going. Spans easily with a loose pelt. Perhaps carrying more weight on her shoulders than ideal;

2 Picer Flora Mcivor, a racy bitch of good type, attractive head with well placed shoulders & a good topline. Good coat texture. On the move she covered plenty of ground but did not have the accuracy of the winner;

3 Gameway Oreo.

PGB (4)

1 Blewecourt Carpe Horam, a stylish bitch of good type & size, she has an attractive head, correct mouth & neat ear, clean over the neck & shoulder, good rib & short coupled, moved true in front;

2 B Good News for B;

3 Clydebeck Solitaire.

LB (13,3)

1 Otterbobs Xolana, what a lovely bitch this is, very well constructed & balanced & gave a good account of herself. She was well presented in perfect condition. On the move she demonstrated soundness & a lengthy stride;

2 Ianteg Redrubi, this bitch has a very appealing head & eye, clean over the neck & shoulder, correct rib & well angulated quarters. Immaculately presented with a well textured coat. On the move she was sound & covered plenty of ground;

3 Tarkaswell Doctors Orders.

OB (11)

1 Ch Emblehope Dance And Dance, I must admit not to have recognised her but apparently she was my BP last time I awarded CCs. She so appeals for type & soundness. Her bl/t coat had been well prepared which enhanced her outline, lovely over the neck & shoulder with spannable ribs & a loose pelt, very sound front & back with well angulated quarters. In the challenge she impressed to win the CC;

2 Mansergh Plusfours, a very typical bitch, racy & narrow throughout, in hard muscular condition. Very good to go over & much to like her for. Easy & free on the move. She responded well to her handler. Pleased to award her the RCC but pressed very hard by the Limit winner;

3 Picer Aimee Vilbert.
