1 Yore’s Southash Deputy Sheriff at Smurfski, smart youngster who scored in movement, moved out well with drive & tracked best in class. Masculine head of good proportion with strength of muzzle, moderate neck into a clean wither with firm topline held well on the move, balanced with good underline & a length of body, ribbed back. Has quality & is very sound. Well presented in good grizzle coat;

2 Larner’s Hawcoat Mr Fixit, essentially masculine, narrow b/t built on racy lines. Lovely typical head & expression with good earset & nice reach of neck into soundly constructed forehand. Balanced overall with narrow body, handles well. Well made, racy hindquarters with hocks well let down used to advantage on the move. Moved freely & soundly with good reach & drive;

3 Woollacott’s Tufterslodge Tea For Two.

1 McPherson’s Brumberhill Back T’Future, winner of a strong class. Striking b/t boy with plenty of style, presenting a lovely outline. Handsome, typical head of excellent proportion & expression. Good neck into a cleanly defined wither, with correctly proportioned front assembly, balanced with well constructed muscular but racy hindquarters with second thigh, & well let down strong firm hocks used to great effect on the move. Has a good length of body, firm topline, good croup & tailset, balanced with lovely underline, a length of rib & strong loin. Impressed me moving, demonstrating free & easy movement with a ground covering stride, holding his topline on the move. Presented in immaculate order with quality coat. Was a serious contender today, just needs a little time;

2 Johnson’s Karison Kosta, well made, classy youngster who scores in outline & balance with a super typical head & expression. Lovely reach of neck into wither, sound topline equally matched with good underline, firm loin. Pleasing overall type of sound make & shape with well constructed balanced quarters. Positive & sound mover, moved out well in profile, just needs to settle more on the move. Good grizzle coat;

3 Irving’s Dandyhow Galloping Gourmet.

1 Reeves & Hyslop’s Baywillow Blueprint, another quality youngster with much to like. Soundly constructed b/t with an appealing masculine head of good proportions & expression with short, strong muzzle. Good neck, shoulders & front balanced with well angulated racy hindquarters. Narrow body with a good length of rib. Displayed plenty of power on the move, with a ground covering stride in profile using his hindquarters to great effect & holding his topline well. Good pelt & jacket, standing on good legs, bone & feet;

2 Read’s Roxambor Magical Timepiece, nicely made grizzle, with good head & expression, lovely reach of neck into very good forehand assembly. Balanced in outline, with a sound flowing topline, croup & tailset matched with a good underline with a length of body. Angulated hindquarters with turn of stifle & hocks well let down, used to advantage on the move. Moved out very soundly, covering the ground well in profile;

3 Fryer’s Irton Mountain Dew.

1 Ramus’ Onthill Aramis, b/t, good for type & scores in size & balance. Best mover in class, sound & true both tracking & in profile, retaining his topline on the move. Attractive head of good proportions with keen expression with a good neck into wither, firm topline & good underline. Body well balanced with angulated quarters. Good legs, bone & feet, presented in good coat & condition;

2 Speake’s Cedarhill Stargazer, essentially masculine grizzle with a typical head, strength of muzzle & a good reach of neck. Nice make & shape & presented in excellent well toned condition with good legs, feet & bone. Balanced in outline, with firm topline & good tailset matched with a good underline. Sound forehand, angulated muscular hindquarters & hocks well let down. Moved out well in profile. Well presented;

3 Jordan & Smith’s Glebeheath Smash N’grab.

1 Larner’s Hawcoat Lord George, extremely sound light grizzle, stood out with his free & easy movement, excellent ground covering stride with drive in profile & accurate tracking. Appealing masculine head of good proportions & expression with good reach of neck set into a soundly constructed forehand. Correct topline & tailset held well on the move, balanced overall with a length of body & ribs carried back into firm loin, standing on good legs & neat feet with nice bone. Very good coat & pelt;

2 Clark’s Gameway Mcvitie, keen showman, full of type & well presented with a super harsh grizzle coat with thick pelt. Attractive, typical head & expression. Moderate & really balanced in outline with angulated quarters, correct topline, croup & tailset matched by good underline, good bone, feet & hocks. Makes a pleasing picture, striding out well in profile with good drive & tracked true. Handles well, in fit order;

3 Waller’s Question Master.

OD (12,3)

1 Lee’s Tythrop Timepiece, has all the qualities to easily do a day’s work & follow a horse. Appealed greatly for his type & ideal size being masculine but moderate. Really good to go over & presented in a fit, honed condition, with his superb blue & tan jacket he looked a picture standing & did not disappoint on the move. Has a classic head of good proportions with super reach of neck into an excellent topline & tailset, held so well on the move, a superb underline with lovely narrow body, good ribbing, easily spanned. Everything flows on this boy with well matched soundly constructed quarters, good legs & feet with excellent pasterns & hocks to finish the picture. Plenty of power on the move using his racy but strong backend to great effect to give drive. In great form. CC, his third I believe, well deserved;

2 South’s Borderella Day Tripper, smart grizzle, scores in outline & balance & presented in super coat & condition, good for type. Appealing masculine head of good proportions & expression with lovely reach of neck into a clean wither & excellent topline, held well on the move matched with good underline. Sound well angulated forehand with a good layback of shoulder & length in upper arm, balanced with well constructed muscular hindquarters with second thigh, standing on good legs & feet with nice bone. Liked his moderate size & in fit order, makes a pleasing overall picture. Very sound & true mover both tracking & in profile. RCC;

1 Girling’s Benattivo Fire Flower, promising grizzle puppy of nice make, shape & size, built on racy bodylines with a pleasing head & expression. Narrow with a good length of body, firm topline, good croup & tailset, balanced with lovely underline, ribbed well back. Sound well angulated forehand, balanced with well constructed racy hindquarters with second thigh, standing on good legs & feet with nice bone & let down hocks. Has quality & is very sound, moved out in profile with reach & drive & tracked true. BP;

2 Southam’s Southash Finding Bliss, grizzle puppy of a pleasing size, well balanced overall, tracked very true. Feminine headed puppy with good neck, shoulders & front. Well balanced quarters, with a sound topline & tailset with thick carroty tail, standing on good straight legs, nice bone & feet. In her underclothes today.

1 Spafford’s Brackenfell Jitter Bug at Dassett, well proportioned classy grizzle bitch of a lovely moderate size, balanced in outline with very well angulated quarters. Feminine, with an appealing head & expression, soundly constructed forehand assembly with layback of shoulder, a good neck into wither & correct topline matched with an excellent underline with a length of body, ribbed back & firm loin. Impressed me most in this class with her positive & sound movement, covering the ground in profile with accurate tracking;

2 Larner’s Hawcoat Ugogirl, smart b/t of nice make & shape, with good jacket. Appealing head & expression with a reach of neck. Balanced quarters with a sound forehand assembly, lovely firm topline, croup & tailset, a length of body, ribbed back with strength in loin. Another promising bitch who moved out very well in profile around the ring;

3 Mooney’s Chesterton Caboodle.

Close decision between three promising, quality bitches.

1 South’s Imperterrito Agenda by Borderella, nicely made youngster who moved out well around the ring, she particularly caught my eye with her ground covering stride in profile, & tracked the best in this class. Good head, skull & expression with moderate neck into a well angulated forehand with layback of shoulder & length in upper arm. Sound topline, croup & tailset. She scores in size & balance, with well matched quarters standing on good legs & neat feet, presenting a clean outline;

2 Brannan & Kelly’s Brankell Double Or Quits, another well made bitch, full of type with pleasing lines, presented in a good grizzle jacket & pelt. Attractive head & expression, with a reach of neck into soundly constructed forehand & firm topline with well set on carroty tail. Balanced overall with a good underline, length in body & angulated hindquarters with turn of stifle & hocks well let down giving good drive. Sound, ground covering free movement;

3 Pickering’s Picer Flora Mcivor.

1 Fryer’s Irton Scotch Mist, stylish bitch with much to like, presenting a shapely, clean outline, well honed & in fit order. Soundly made feminine red grizzle of pleasing size with well balanced angulated quarters standing on good legs & feet with moderate bone. Nice type overall with appealing head of good proportion & expression, with a lovely reach of neck into clean wither, correct topline croup & tailset. Has quality & is very sound. Moved out well with good stride in profile & tracked very true;

1 Sansom’s Tarkaswell Doctor’s Orders, feminine grizzle with style & quality, presenting a clean balanced outline. Liked her overall moderation & size. An appealing head with typical expression, length of neck into good topline with defined wither. Pleasing body proportions with soundly constructed well balanced quarters, straight legs, nice bone & feet. Correct underline, ribbed back with good length & firm loin. In fit, toned condition with good coat & pelt. Moved out freely with forward reach in profile, covering the ground really well;

2 Spafford’s Dassett Tiggiwinkle, another well made grizzle bitch of pleasing size & proportions. Typical head & expression with moderate neck into a clean wither, excellent firm topline, defined croup & well set on carroty tail. Well balanced quarters with very sound forehand assembly, a well laid shoulder & length in upper arm. Moved out soundly & tracked particularly well. Liked her for type, in good condition with a thick double coat;

3 Mooney’s Brumberhill Bollinger for Chesterton.

LB (15,3) 1 Parkes’ Clevepark Dazzle, attractive head & expression on this smart grizzle bitch with a reach of neck into an excellent forehand, correct layback of shoulder & cleanly defined wither, balanced with an angulated hindquarter, hocks well let down giving good drive. Liked her overall moderation, she scores in size & balance. Stood out on the move in this class, she extended well in profile, covering the ground with ease. Well presented with good coat & pelt;

2 Roberts’ Smalesmouth Skylark, light grizzle bitch of nice make & shape with narrow bodylines, who also moved around the ring with ease. A feminine otter head of good proportion & expression. Sound flowing topline, croup & tailset with a length of body, excellent ribbing & firm loin. Used her well made hindquarters with good turn of stifle to give drive in profile, a free & easy mover. Balanced overall with well matched angulated quarters standing on good legs with moderate bone. Active & in fit condition, handles well;

3 Gilpin’s Otterbobs Xolana.

I awarded both these bitches first placings as youngsters & they have certainly fulfilled their promise. Both are top drawer.

1 Sansom’s Ch Tarkaswell Double Agent, stylish & feminine grizzle, with a confident ring presence, presented immaculately in a fit, honed condition. Pleasing size & balanced proportions with a shapely, clean outline. Most attractive classic head & expression, lovely reach of neck into a cleanly defined wither & correctly proportioned front assembly. So well put together with a super topline, equally matched with an excellent underline, a length of rib & firm loin, everything flows on this bitch with well matched soundly constructed quarters & good legs & feet to finish the picture. Impressed on the move with accurate tracking both fore & aft & a good ground covering stride with great forward reach & drive in profile, holding a firm topline & tailset on the move. CC & BOB;

2 Lee’s Tythrop Turn Back Time, a real showgirl with great charisma, presented in excellent order with a superb harsh pin wire coat of correct blue & tan colour. Well proportioned, typical head with good eye & expression & lovely reach of neck. Liked her for size & type, narrow with a good length of body, firm topline, good croup & tailset, balanced with lovely underline, a length of rib & strong loin. Sound well angulated forehand balanced with super well constructed hindquarters & a second thigh, standing on good legs & feet with nice bone & well let down hocks. Moves out so well demonstrating superb economical drive with forward reach in profile, covering the ground with ease. Nice to go over, fit & active, like her litter brother has the qualities to do a day’s work. RCC;
