1st - Benattivo Betfred (Mrs S J & Mr C P Girling)

A very typical puppy, good head, strong jaw, with a nice reach of neck going into well laid shoulders. Narrow front, good topline, loved his overall balance. Correct coat and pelt, and he moved well fore and rear. Good tail set. Very pleased to award him Best Puppy.

2nd - Stineval Staccato (Mr A & Mrs C Horner)

Another well balanced pup, with a good front, well laid shoulders, good pelt with a nice expression, still a baby.

3rd - Brackenfell Bok To Bach (Mr C Hall & Miss L Ellis)

1st - Kersfell Chorister (Mrs M Sneddon)

A workmanlike typical pup, with a very neat front, good otter head with dark eye and keen expression. Good overall construction, an easy span, moved OK.

2nd - Cedarhill Stargazer (Miss A Speake & Mr H S Speake)

Nicely proportioned, strong head, couldn t match the front and topline of the winner.

3rd - Comberdown Heatseeker (Mr I & Mrs A Higham)

1st - Glebeheath Jump The Gun JW (Mrs J Guvercin)

A very well balanced dog throughout, with a correct blue and tan coat with a good pelt. A very typical head with a strong jaw and large teeth, very good expression. Good length of neck going into well laid shoulders, correct length of rib. Neat feet, correct bone, good hind angulation. Moved well both ways.

2nd - Badgerbeck Uncle Fester (Miss L M Jenkins)

Another quality grizzle dog, with a good head and big teeth, just preferred the overall balance and front of the winner.

3rd - Brookbank Beauly (Mrs S P Norris)

1st - Badgerholme Epsom Jet (Mr & Mrs B Dickinson & Miss T James)

Good overall conformation, correct blue and tan coat with a good pelt, good topline and tail set, correct length and well ribbed back. Strong head with a typical expression, nice reach of neck and a narrow front. Well-turned stifle and moved well.

2nd - Otterwood Cyrus JW (Mr M J & Mrs J M Hollingsbee)

Superb head, well laid shoulders, easy to span, good coat and pelt. Moved very well, just preferred the length of the winner. Two very good dogs, a very close decision.

3rd - Keycharm Phantom by Ridgebow JW (Mr N Duxbury)

1st - Redfox Watchman (Mr & Mrs D B Marr)

Strong head, with correct expression, good overall conformation and reach of neck going into well laid shoulders, in better coat than 2. Easy to span, good hind angulation moved well with drive.

2nd - Saygo Of Hassage (Ms E D Rumsam)

A quality well balanced dog, strong head and expression, OK in front, an easy span, just preferred the overall length of the winner. The coat not at its best today.

3rd - Onthill Amaretto (Mr R & Mrs A Ramus)

1st - Borderella Day Tripper JW ShCM (Mrs P South)

A very typical handsome dog, super head, good expression, nice reach of neck and well laid shoulders. In a very good coat, nicely ribbed back, good topline and tail set. Liked his overall balance, strong loin, and he moved well. Res CC.

2nd - Bortino High Society (Mr D K & Mrs D Martin)

Another well balanced dog, good neck and front, nicely set on tail. Moved well.

3rd - Foxpaw Brilliant Disguise (Mr P & Mrs H Fulker)

1st - Ch. Foxfactor Pied Piper JW ShCM (Mr B J & Mrs K D Stockley)

A very typical grizzle dog, in superb condition, his overall balance is very good, strong masculine head and expression, super topline and tail set, moved with drive. In excellent coat and pelt, could not be denied the CC.

2nd - Ch. Grindelvald In Full Cry JW (Mrs M A Bailey)

Another super grizzle dog, very typical throughout, correct balance, and in very good condition, good front and well laid shoulders, easily spanned, moved well. Just preferred the topline on the winner.

3rd - Ch. Rexlands Cock Robin (Mr & Mrs D Matthews)

1st - Gameway Fortune Cookie (Mrs T Clark)

A lovely puppy, with a feminine head. OK in front, good bone, topline and tail set, with a good coat and pelt. Very typical.

2nd - Picer Ethelburga (Mr G & Mrs S Pickering)

A close decision, another very well balanced pup throughout. Very typical head, with good front and well laid shoulders. Good hindquarters and tail. Preferred the topline of the winner.

3rd - Abisu Solataire At Tojamatt (Mr D & Mrs A Matthews)

1st - Mansergh Plusfours (Miss A Roslin-Williams)

A pleasing head with a very typical expression. Very good front with well laid shoulders, well ribbed back, with a good coat and pelt. She moved well and has very good hind angulation. Best puppy bitch.

2nd - Intack Lady Eleanor (Mrs F J Matthews)

Good front and head, well ribbed back with a good topline and tail set. I just preferred the slightly longer overall outline of the winner.

3rd - Borderella Sweet Pea (Mrs P South)

1st - Cedarhill Rising Star At Brankell (Mr P & Miss K Brannan)

The best head of the day, oozed type and quality, a very good front, well laid shoulders, good topline, easily spanned, coat on the blow but evidence of both. She has a super balance throughout with correct rib and strength of loin. Good bend of stifle, moved very well. Overall a very typical and honest Border. I was pleased to award her the CC and BOB.

2nd - Akenside Calypso (Mrs L Gosling)

Another well balanced typical Border, very feminine head with a dark eye and strong jaw, superb blue and tan coat and pelt, not as narrow in front as my winner.

3rd - Brookbank Bora (Mrs S P Norris)

2nd - Foxfactor Cue The Music JW (Mr B J & Mrs K D Stockley)

Longer cast in head than one, she has a good front, topline and tail set with an easy span, OK hind angulation.

3rd - Aus. Ch. Bohunt the Cats Whiskers (Imp) (Mr I & Mrs J Broomhead)

1st - Totherend Blue Loulou (Mr R G & Mrs E A Wright)

A blue and tan bitch in very good condition, she has a typical head with pleasing expression, a correct front and topline. The correct length of rib, easily spanned, strong loin and good hind angulation, she moved well.

2nd - Baywillow Brown Braid JW (Mrs G Hyslop)

A grizzle bitch with a good front, head, topline and tail set. Just preferred the overall length and balance of winner.

3rd - Wadesleia Mountain Ringlet (Mrs H A & Mr A Fletcher)

1st - Benattivo Abiba For Abisu (Miss S M Moseley)

A very well balanced blue and tan bitch, with correct ticking, good coat and pelt. OK in front, nicely ribbed back with a strong loin, good tail set with very good hind angulation, she moved well.

2nd - Grindelvald Over The Moon at Hemlockstone (Mr R H & Miss J A Bryan & Pounder)

Very similar in build to one, not in such good coat today, correct front, balance and hind angulation, a close decision. Two quality bitches in a good class.

3rd - Baywillow Blue Design (Mrs M B Reeves)

A light grizzle bitch in excellent condition, very well balanced throughout, excellent head, in super coat, with a very neat front, easily spanned, good topline and tail set, with correct hind angulation, she moved and showed very well. Res CC.

2nd - Picer Gilliflower (Mr G & Mrs S Pickering)

A larger bitch all through, with a feminine head and expression, good outline on the move, however when standing she could not match the toplineof one.

3rd - Ch. Cobstoneway Moon River Clipstone (Miss E & Mrs J Jackson)
