Thanks to the exhibitors for an excellent entry. Quality was present in many classes especially both open classes and minor puppy dog. My thanks for a job well done go to those excellent stewards Janet and Maureen, who made my job so much easier. MPD (4) 1 Spafford's Dassett Last Waltz. Stylish red grizzle youngster. Well made with excellent head, good rear angulation, good coat in tip top condition. Moved very well for 8 months old, Best Puppy. 2 Matthews' Tojamatt Taboo. Another good puppy, blue and tan, racy in outline and narrow build, good head and level top line, moved ok. 3 Pinkham's Broadsmill Horatio Nelson. Good class of quality youngsters. PD (4,1) 1 Matthews' Tojamatt Taboo. 2 Pile's Heading For Home At Moleschamber. Coat just coming in but a few harsh hairs to give proper texture, good backline, stepped out well. 3 Aldous' Twigglestone Steps To Hevn. JD (4) 1 Pollit's Brackenfell Rock The Boat For Vandermere. Looked heavy when he came into the ring but shown in very full coat, and I've no problem with that, well angulated which shows in his good movement, nice head. 2 Ramus' Onthill Solomans Seal. Another red grizzle, a little too deep in brisket, otherwise a nice dog, front movement a little wayward. 3 Adams' Fisherbloom Kiss My Class. YD (5) 1 Ruth's Bowencloud Busy Bee JW. Attractive red grizzle in excellent coat, presented very well, good construction with correct angulation at both ends, good head. 2 Newman's Kyscafter Equinox. Excellent dark grizzle coat, nicely made but a little short in back, rear movement very short striding initially, but relaxed and made a better job of it when asked to try again. 3 Pollit's Brackenfell Rock The Boat For Vandermere. GD (4,2) 1 Hollingsbee's Tarkaswell Smart Move To Otterwood. Well made red grizzle, well balanced, lovely head and expression, good bone, in excellent coat, moved ok. 2 Adams' Fisherbloom Kiss My Class. Bigger than 1 with ok coat and pelt but taking all the coat off his shoulders and legs did him no favours, decent head. Not the movement of 1. PGD (4) 1 Alpe's Cedarhill Authorisation. Attractive, well constructed throughout with lovely head, neck, backline and tail set, moved very well but not much coat today. 2 Bradley's Brewbrads Tricky Trickster, good blue coat, nice outline and narrow build but not the overall quality of 1. 3 Anscombe's Orangebox Dark Energy. LD (16,4) 1 Matthews' Tojamatt Moriarty, shown in lovely full coat, narrow construction with correct angulation front and rear, excellent head, moved very well, a nice dog. 2 Larner's Hawcoat Mr. Fixit, excellent blue and tan coat, strode out very well, good length of back and nice head but not the neck and shoulders of 1. 3 Reeves & Hyslop's Baywillow Blueprint. OD (8) 1 Hall & Ellis' Ch/Ger Ch Brackenfell Bok To Bach. Lovely masculine dog, very fit as always, moved true with plenty of drive from his well angulated rear end, in excellent coat. In the line up for the CC, I preferred the front upper arm angulation of Beyond The Stars. RCC. 2 Atkinson's Tynecaster Special Agent At Raedwulf, another good quality dog, well made with very nice movement, appeared a little heavy around the shoulders, good head. 3 Thomas' Daluce King Of Emotion. V(10,1) 1 Dean's Ch/Am/Can Ch Cedarhill Beyond The Stars. Handsome dog with excellent red grizzle coat and pelt, excels in outline with lovely reach of neck into clean shoulders, narrow all through, good length of back and tail set, correct angulation front and back, moved true with drive and a lovely relaxed front movement. CC & BOB. 2 Jackson's Ch.Cobstoneway Moon River At Clipstone. Nicely made bodily and with good head, in excellent coat, moved out very well and made it a proper competition with 1. 3 Hyslop's Baywillow Brown Braid JW ShCM. Good CDS (6,0) 1 Aldous' Twigglestone Elfenor JW ShCM. Red grizzle bitch, nicely constructed, decent backline into good tail set, moved well. A little wide in front. 2 Freeman's Borderella Snap Dragon RL.1. Correct front and rear angulation, excellent red grizzle coat, not the movement of 1 on the day. 3 Pateman's Twigglestone Something Else For Lessien. MPB (4,3) 1 Vaughan's Broadsmill Ha'penny. Unfortunately alone but I loved this youngster, rangy and narrow with a lovely reach of neck, ribbed well back, good coat, went like a train, albeit a little unsteady at the front, hopefully that should settle in time. Lovely character. I shall watch her progress. PB (4,2) 1 Atlinson's Esytona Codeword Vandamere. Blue and tan, good in outline, good length of back and tail set, easily spanned. 2 Pateman's Twigglesone Something Else For Lessien. Red grizzle coat a bit thin in texture, good angulation at the back, nice head. JB (12,2) Excellent class. 1 Lowry's Ravenside Calima. Lovely blue & tan in excellent condition, well constructed, good head with nicely placed ears, narrow front, good shoulders, good length of back and tail. 2 Anscombe's Gameway French Fancy Avec Orangebox. Very nice young red grizzle bitch, pleasing in outline and head, well made, lovely character. 3 Ramsay's Arodella Song Sung Blue. YB (4,1) 1 Heeley's Thistlemead Harmony. In good double coat, well presented, narrow build, good ribs, lovely head and neck although ears perhaps a little large, moved well. 2 Ruth's Bowencloud The Bee Charmer. Built on very similar lines to 1 with decent angulation at both ends, narrow construction and moved well. 3 Parry's Oakyard On Song. GB (5,3) 1 Heeley's Thistlemead Harmony. 2 Reid's Miltonbury Sunrise At Roxambor. Blue and tan, nice in outline, strong loin, racy at the back, stepped out well. PGB (5,1) 1 Brewster & Green's Stowthorney Clairvoyant. Rich red coat just coming in, racy build, lovely angulation at front and rear, narrow ribs and front, moved well. 2 Taylor's Clydebeck Solitaire. Shorter in back than 1, good shape in outline, narrow build, moved ok. Perhaps a little over angulated at back. 3 Day's Withershins Daddies Girl. LB (9,2) 1 Jenkins' Badgerbeck The Masher. Lovely red grizzle bitch, beautifully made at front and back, excellent head, clean shoulders to narrow build, handy size. 2 Brewster & Green's Byrewick Valentine. Nice blue and tan, with excellent coat, nice front assembly, good length of back, good ribs and loin, good head. 3 Parry's Glebeheath Maiden Name At Oakyard. OB (7,1) Excellent class. 1 Baird's Dowgri Demelza ShCM. Lovely red bitch. Excellent construction, lovely head, narrow build, excellent angulation front and back, lovely ribs and strong loin, moved true and with drive from the back, CC. 2 Bladen's Ch.Emblehope Dance And Dance JW. Another beautiful bitch, excellent blue and tan coat, a little shorter in back to 1, good reach of neck, good head, excellent construction throughout, a worthy champion but wasn't so steady on the move today. 3 Sansom's Ch.Tarkaswell Double Agent JW ShCM.
