MPD (3)

1 Hopper’s Esyntona Rip Van Winkle, bl/t, nice head with dark eye & well filled muzzle. Bit lazy with ears. Nice size, good bone & straight front, well balanced with nice clean outline, well made hindquarters & quite a positive mover, good quality coat.

PD (7)

1 Guvercin’s Dandyhow Jumping Jack at Glebeheath, grizzle of pleasing size, quite the best mover in class, liked his head which will continue to improve, good neck & shoulders, straight front, well balanced, good outline especially on the move, deep in body & rib, easy to span & has good pelt, good turn of stifle, lovely feet & correct tailset, in excellent coat of correct harsh texture, quite a showman. BP, PG2;

2 Woollacott’s Tufterslodge Ososimple, bit heavier in type than 1, nice head & expression, good neck & shoulders, well made body, strong hindquarters & positive mover, in heavier coat. Lost out to 1 on feet & showmanship;

3 Sharp’s Rhozzum Down To Earth.

JD (6)

1 jenkin’s Badgerbeck Pablo, bl/t, liked his clean outline, nice head, well placed ears & dark eye. Just needs little more furnishing to finish head. Straight front, correct shoulder angulation, deep narrow body with correct coupling, strongly made behind, good feet & quality coat, moved & showed well;

2 Lowry’s Ravenside Workforce, liked his head, enough width in skull & strong muzzle. Not so clean in outline as 1. Little wide in front. Decent body for depth & ribbing, well made behind, coat OK, moved & showed fairly well;

3 Golding’s Beaconpike Red Saturn.

GD (3)

1 Wilson’s Olderhill Afortunado, nice head, good neck & straight front, decent shape, easy to span & nice balance, good turn of stifle, correct tailset, in nice coat, plenty of pelt & good condition, moved pretty well both ways but would like a bit more attitude from this boy;

2 Lazell’s Arnesalloch Blue Oak, bl/t, found him a bit too fine for a male. Upright in shoulders hence his exaggerated front action. Nice rangy body & outline, in nice coat & moved better behind, showed well.

PGD (7)

1 Stockley’s Foxfactor Pied Piper, liked him for his type, very pleasing head of correct proportions, dark eye & strong muzzle, well placed ears, correct neck & shoulders, straight front with nice tight feet, well balanced body, deep enough with correct shaped ribs, strong well made hindquarters, stood out for his type & easy fluent movement, in excellent coat & condition. CC;

2 Sqibbs & Barker’s Cobstoneway Lazy Driver, another one with very pleasing head, good front & nice overall shape. Touch over sprung in rib compared to 1. Well made boy with pleasing shape, good hindquarters, in tight harsh coat, moving true;

3 Freeman’s Bolt Tail Jebba.

LD (9)

1 Duxbury’s Ravenside Hurricane Run at Ridgebow, well made dog with extremely nice head, dark eye, neat ears & nice full muzzle, good neck & shoulders, straight front & good depth of body, though a size bigger he is not coarse, clean outline standing & on the move, strong hindquarters & moves with purpose;

2 Spencer’s Cobstoneway River Magic, very good head with keen expression, good neck & shoulders, nicely balanced body, excels in turn of stifle, clean outline & good sort of coat. Sound mover but lost out to 1 as he needs to move with more purpose;

OD (10)

1 Bailey’s Ch Grindelvald In Full Cry, lovely grizzle/t, I like his rangy type, really nice head & alert expression, has everything in the right place, good neck, shoulders & front, well made body with correct ribbing, strong well made hindquarters which he can use, nice outline, good topline & tailset, in good quality coat, shows well. Would have loved to have had 2 CCs but alas only 1 so he took the RCC;

2 Gilpin’s Otterbobs Riggindale, really like his head, nicely balanced throughout, very nice straight front, good neck & shoulders, well balanced body & nice outline, well made hindquarters & correct tailset. Coat not as tight as 1. Moves with plenty of drive;

3 Langford’s Afterglow Firecracker of Caprian.

JB (8)

1 Wildey’s Bramblebrae Violet at Shiftyfox, I was captivated by this feminine girl, even more so in the challenge. Bl/t with really lovely balanced head, good proportions & nice expression, just the right size with enough bone, easy to span, straight in front, good neck & correct shoulder angulation, nice body with good depth, nice clean outline & well balanced, excellent turn of stifle, very good feet, tight harsh coat, plenty of pelt, moves with fluent driving action, showed all out. CC, BOB & shortlisted in group;

3 Robbin’s Kyscafter Kestrel.

LB (9)

1 Robert’s Badgerbeck Ballerina, grizzle with nice racy outline, spans easily. Nice head but looked a bit plain due to lack of head furnishings. Straight in front, correct neck & shoulders, well balanced body, ribbed well back, excels behind, correct turn of stifle, short hock & good feet, correct tailset & topline, parallel driving action, short tight coat of harsh texture, good showgirl;

2 Johnson & Pearson’s Rexland Golden Plover by Karison, fraction smaller than 1 but very nice shape. Looks good in head, nice proportions & expression, pleasing body for shape & balance. Would like tighter feet & higher tailset. Good coat texture & moves well;
