1st - Remony Rock Steady (Mrs A E Gregory)
Still very much a baby but of pleasing make and shape. Good head and eye, straight front standing on good legs and feet, correct topline, sound on the move. A little between coats on the day.

2nd - Joncroft Moss Trooper (M Johnston)
Smaller framed dog. Pleasing head, good eye and expression, well set ears. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, good width of quarters, moved well. Just needs to grow on a little.

1st - Brackenfell Bok To Bach (Mr C Hall & Miss L Ellis)
Quality youngster who shows much promise. Very well balanced throughout and presents a very pleasing outline. Best of heads, dark eye and a keen expression. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, firm topline that he kept on the move, well developed hindquarters. Sound positive mover with excellent reach and drive, BP & Res.CC.

2nd - Etterbern Out The Blue (Mr L Reynolds & Mr J Willis)
B/T of good size and has a very impressive outlook. Pleasing head and a good eye shape. Best of legs and feet, good bone throughout, firm body, pleasing bend of stifle. Needs to tighten up in front movement.

3rd - Glenbucket Whisky Mac (Mrs M J Alexander)

Res - Lairehope Topaz Design (Mr P & Mrs K Lothian)

Very well made B/T of good size and type. Balanced head , good strength of muzzle. Excellent front assembly, good length of body, racy quarters and well let down hocks. In full jacket, good coat texture and best of pelts. Very sound on the move.

2nd - Otterston Arran Ranger (Mrs R Dakers)
Typey sort of good size and of overall good make and shape. Pleasing head with a dark eye and alert expression. Very well muscled throughout, strong hindquarters, moved well.

3rd - Joncroft Scaramouche (Master C Johnston)

Very workman like outlook with an excellent temperament and true terrier spirit. Good confirmation throughout, pleasing head and eye, best of fronts, firm topline, good tailset , moved out well.

2nd - Thorneyburn Peace Pipe (Mr M & Mrs A J Carr)
Typey sort, best of heads with a lovely eye and expression. Good front, pleasing length of rib , presented in good coat, sound on the move but not quite the positive attitude of the winner.

1st - Brumborder River Skipper at Shiftyfox (Mr G Widey)
On first inspection looked up to size, but handled well on the table and was easily spanned. Good type and is very well made throughout. Best of heads, big teeth, good strength of under jaw. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, firm topline, good bend of stifle, moved soundly.

2nd - Raleniro Brand New Age at Alderseadale (Mr D & Mrs N Chandler)
Pleasing size and presents a balanced outlook. Good head and eye, level topline that he holds on the move, well muscled hindquarters. Sound, but not the positive action of the winner.

3rd - Lairehope Viking Spark (Mr P & Mrs K Lothian)

Res - Hobholt Hi Roller (Mr R G & Mrs E A Wright)

VHC - StBedehounds Frank in Sense of Raleniro ShCM (Mr M J & Mrs D A Lorraine)

Quality Border of good size and excellent confirmation. Built on pleasing lines and presents a very good outline both stood and on the move. Good head, dark eye, well set ears. Best of legs and feet, firm body of good shape, best of quarters, very sound on the move, in excellent jacket. With a little more enthusiasm would have pushed close for top honours.

2nd - Remony Runrig (Mrs A E Gregory)
Different stamp and style to the winner but very well made and presented a very pleasing outlook. Scores in neck and shoulders, straight front, good length of rib, racy quarters, moved out well.

3rd - Grettacs the Wizard ShCM (Mr B & Mrs L P Inness)

Res - Merumhor Midwinter JW (Mr G & Mrs H Mckenzie)

1st - Brumberhill Blue Tempest (Mr S A Mcpherson)
Gave him the Res.CC last time I judged from junior and has definitely developed into a top class Border. Quality throughout, so beautifully balanced but has the character and attitude required of the breed. Best of heads with correct eye shape and typical expression. Best of fronts, good layback of shoulder, excellent body shape, pleasing bend of stifle. Good coat and pelt. Soundest of movers striding out with excellent reach and drive, CC & BOB.

2nd - CH Irton Up Helly Aa (Mr D & Mrs A Fryer)
Different type to the winner and in full coat on the day but very good to handle and appreciate his many virtues. Pleasing head and eye, stands on good legs and feet, firm topline, strong muscular hindquarters that he uses to advantage on the move.

3rd - Solitary Mist (Mr D & Mrs C Hodgson)

Res - Badgerbeck Beau Geste for Buckwilde (Mrs M Blomfield-Willis)

VHC - Earthwise Wolfbane JW ShCM (Mr E J Houston)

Real baby but won the class on her positive attitude and sound confident movement. Good head and eye, pleasing front assembly, well developed hindquarters for her age, moved well with good reach and drive.

2nd - Baillieswells Stronachie (Professor A S Milton)
Very feminine outlook and well made throughout. Pleasing head and expression, good front, excellent body shape, racy quarters, very good coat and jacket, just needs to tighten in front movement, but a promising youngster.

Quality youngster from this top kennel. Not long out of puppy but so together for her age and took your eye as soon as she entered the ring. Best of heads, correct eye shape with a keen alert expression. Excellent neck and shoulders, good legs and feet, firm topline, well rounded quarters that she uses to advantage on the move. Presented in superb order, soundest of movers, Res.CC.

2nd - Ploughdown Portia (Mr & Mrs E Armstrong)
Very well made B/T who also shows much promise. Beautifully balanced throughout, pleasing head shape, best of fronts with a good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Excellent body shape, best of hindquarters, good bend of stifle. Presented in ‘pin wire’ jacket, very sound on the move. Just preferred the eye and expression of the winner.

Scores in neck and shoulders, thick pelt, pleasing topline and tailset, well muscled quarters, positive mover with excellent reach and drive.

2nd - Baillieswells Lochindaal JW (Prof A Milton)
Very honest type of bitch with a very feminine and workman like outlook. Balanced throughout, pleasing head shape and a good dark eye. Straight front, good neck and shoulders, racy quarters, well let down hocks, moved out well.

3rd - Remony Winter's Diamond JW (Mrs A E Gregory)

1st - Merumhor Solstice Belle JW ShCM (Mr C J & Mrs J H Martin)
Typey B/T of pleasing make and shape throughout. See she is the litter sister of the previous class winner and has many of her siblings attributes, but feel she is of a better size and just preferred her expression. Good head shape, lovely dark eye, well off for bone but shows no sign of coarseness. Best of fronts, very clean over the neck and shoulders, good body shape, in excellent coat, sound on the move.

2nd - Irton Enigma (Mr & Mrs D Fryer)
Although completely between coats she won her place on her overall make and shape, pleasing confirmation and her very sound positive movement. Balanced head with a keen eye and expression, good neck and shoulders, pleasing topline and tailset, racy quarters, really covered the ground on a free and easy stride.

3rd - Totherend Taboo (Mr R G & Mrs E A Wright)

Judged her as a puppy last year and has definitely fulfilled her early promise. Very well made bitch, good size and very typical outlook and presents a very balanced outline. Pleasing head and expression, straight front well padded feet, good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Excellent body shape, correct tailset, pleasing hindquarters, moved out well. Had to pull out all the stops in the final line up to beat off the challenge of the Junior and Special Yearling bitches for top honours, CC.

2nd - Picer Beersheba at Wadesleia (Mrs H & Mr A Fletcher)
Very good type of excellent confirmation throughout. Best of heads, good dark eye and a keen alert expression. Scores in front assembly, best of legs and feet, good length of rib, strong well muscled quarters, moved soundly.

3rd - Glebeheath Goodnite Vienna at Flutorum (Mr E Castel)

Res - Joncroft Water Kelpie (Mr & Mrs M Johnston)

Pleasing size, lovely head which was so typical with correct eye shape and the best of expressions. Good front for her age. Still holds a pleasing topline on the move, well rounded quarters, sound on the move.

2nd - Achnagairn Plum Duff (Mrs A Fraser)
Has a very positive outlook and was definitely enjoying her day out. In excellent jacket, best of pelts, pleasing front and a good bend of stifle, happy positive mover.
