Thank you to the National Terrier for the invite to judge, and to the exhibitors for an amazing entry, I really enjoyed the day, and the chance to go over some lovely dogs.

1. Cumming’s Kewhaigh Innocent Man JW Blue dog, good head, strong muzzle, narrow through out, in good jacket, moved ok

2. Speake’s Pipruda Pink Gin Grizzle bitch, feminine head, good bite, narrow in front, close decision between these two 3. Windsor-Hichens Arunmere Bullet Proof

1. Dean’s Cedarhill Melt In The Mouth Grizzle dog, lovely border head, good length of neck into nice lay of shoulders, narrow in front, in good harsh jacket, movement was excellent

2. Houghton’s Chorbeck Chatty Man JW Sh.CM Pleasing head, dark eye, good bite, easily spannable for an older dog, in full coat, a little heavier than 1st

3. Baxter’s Mysulan Going Solo JW VW

1. Thomas’s Alcumlow Penderyn Blue coat, pleasing head, dark eye and good bite, length of neck to good lay of shoulders, narrow and straight and narrow in front, good length

2. Atkinson’s Raedwulf Lionheart Stronger in head than 1st, shorter in leg and body, good blue coat, a bit wayward on the move

1. Hopper’s Esyntona Joeseph Red dog, strong otter head, short muzzle, dark eye, good mouth, good for bone thick pads, in full coat, shape of ribs and length on loin all good, surprisingly spannable, moved well

2. McCall’s Aldamar’s The Only One I Know At Brumborder Narrower in muzzle than 1st good length of neck a little wider in front good length of body moved out ok

3. Yates & Gooding’s Penmarkwood Puzzle

1. Richardson’s Staynorwood Nightcap Well balanced grizzle dog, nice ottery head, dark eye, v shaped ears, narrow in front good, lay of shoulder and length of rib, took time to settle but moved well

2. Haughton’s Chorbeck Phoenix Knight Pleasing head, dark in eye, scissor bite, double jacket moved out well

3. Dixon’s Thornheswin Whipper In

1. Regeer’s Cedarhill The Wish Red grizzle dog, pleasing head, v shaped ears, dark in eye, good bite, handy size all round, nice carrot tail, good tight feet, moved well

2. Lowry’s Ravenside Rasputin Stronger all round than 1st, good bone, big teeth, easily spannable, in double jacket, just preferred the balance of 1st

3. Haydon’s Tallview Play The Game At Earthtaw

1. Spafford’s Dassett Igglepiggle JW I’ve watched this dog from being a pup, strongly built and up to size, lovely head, v shape to ears, dark eye, strong in jaw, narrow front and spannable, good turn of stifle and second thigh, good double coat RDCC

2. Atkinson’s Readwulf Nightfall JW Good head, nice bite, tight feet, good rid and loin, in good harsh jacked

1. Otterbobs Tolson Another one i’ve watched from the ring side, and did not disappoint. Pleasing head, good mouth, well balanced and narrow through out, good in shoulder and nice spring of rib, good rear angulations, stood on thick pads, in double jacket, and thick pliable pelt, in hard fit condition, show to perfection, moved out with drive and purpose. 2. Stevens Cobstoneway Stand By Me JW Red grizzle, strong in head, dark eye, good bite, workman like dog, he has a good look about him and stands well, liked him a lot

3. Anscombe’s Kevrah Orion Seeking Orangebox (Imp USA)

1. Ellis Normbar Fancy Nancy Grizzle bitch, feminine head, dark eye, good mouth, straight and narrow in front, nice rib shape, and a good length, moved out well

2. Barbers Alcumlow Sip And Swirl Dark in eye, good dentition, narrow through out, length of loin and rear angulations, moved well

2. Barrett’s Howthwaite Molly Malone Blue in colour, feminine head, dark eye, a little square for me, moved ok

1. Miles Ogden’s Whartonian Maggie May Of Rocherrier Really caught my eye, lovely feminine bitch, nice head, good shoulders, nice shape to rib, and good length to loin, correct set of tail, in good coat, nice movement a little more confidence and she will be there.

2. Guvercin’s Glebeheath Jolene Another nice bitch, good head and mouth, straight and narrow in front, easily spannable, just preferred the length of 1st

1. Sutton’s Pipruda Peppermint Patty At Beckholm JW Pretty bitch, lovely head and broad muzzle, length of neck, narrow through out, good rear angulations moved well, her time will come

2. Higham’s Comberdown Witch’s Promise Nice size with good length, narrow through out, in good coat, would have liked a bit more drive

3. Harbottle’s Tyneotter Autumnal Fire

1. Atkinson’s Raedwulf Babooshka Grizzle good in head, dark eye, good shoulders and straight narrow front, length and shape of rib, nice tail set, in good coat, moved well

2. Speake’s Pipruda Pink Gin Slightly bigger all round than first, good strong head, and length of neck, in good coat, moved out well

3. Hall’s Borderrush Bean And Gone

1. Alpe’s Pipruda Perfect Storm Well balanced, fine in head, dark in eye, nice length of neck, good shoulders, easily spanned, a little heavy under chest, made her look deeper than she is, in good coat, nice set on tail, moved ok

2. Manchester’s Rundlebeck Little Dorrit Dark grizzle bitch, pleasing head, narrow thorough out, in good jacket and pelt, moved ok

3. Ling’s Readwulf Moonbeam At Bigginpeak

Now to be honest nothing in this class moved good in front,

1. Hall’s Borderrush Rambutan Dark grizzle, strong head, ears a bit overdone, strong front, deep in chest but just spannable, best mover in this class but not what I wanted

2. Manchester’s Rundlebeck Mill On The Foss Handy size in good coat, but as 1st movement could be better

3. Keeffe’s Keebank Platinum Queen

LB (18,2)

1. Atkinson’s Raedfulf Moondance JW Good in head, dark eye, big teeth, strong muzzle, length of neck in to nice angulated shoulders, straight in front spannable, well muscled loin and second thigh, good rear angulations, in dense hard double jacket, stood on nice tidy feet, moved out with drive, BCC

2. Barrett’s Howthwaite Gaan Divilish Pleasing head with strong muzzle, length of neck and good shoulders, narrow in front and spannable, nice carrot tail, good rear angulations, in the best jacked today, moved out well

3. Pickering’s Picer Mirabel Ostler

OB (11,4)

1. Atkinson’s Raedwulf Moonshine At Tarkaswell JW Red grizzle good head and strong short muzzle, good in mouth, nice shoulders and narrow front, spannable, nice length to rib and loin, good rear angulations, well balanced, pushed hard for top honers

2. Grefory’s Remony Rose Gold JW Another well balanced bitch, nice head and keen dark eye, good shoulders and narrow through out, like this bitch a lot, just lost out on tail carriage today

3. Gwillams Luajack Blue Fizz
