1 Hunt’s Ottaswell Palamedes, very promising baby who looked right for his age, very good forehand, as he matures a little in second thighs should do very well, nice outline, pleasing head & eyes, in nice coat & condition, made the best of himself. BPD;

2 Stockley’s Foxfactor Blue Mist, also very promising, good eyes & ears, pleasing neck & shoulders, nice coat, moved out well with good drive;

3 Johnson’s Karison Klaret.

1 Woollacott’s Tufterslodge Good Move, neat, nice head & eyes, good body, nice tail, scored in coat, showed well;

2 Leavy’s Wychwizard, in her underclothes, has strength in muzzle & underjaw, alert, needs to strengthen in front, nice turn of hindquarters.

1 Guvercin’s Dandyhow Jumping Jack at Glebeheath, well balanced, very good head & eyes, has a slight winter nose at present but pleased me a lot. Good neck, shoulders, front, legs & feet, nice topline, good hindquarters;

2 Fryer’s Irton Morse Code, bigger dog but also well made, very attractive rich coloured coat of good texture, good bone, legs & feet, well bodied, pleasing strength in thighs, good muzzle, eyes & very expressive;

3 Dickinson’s Ragatan Newmarket at Badgerholm.

1 Mudd’s Royal Herculean Ironfield, neat blue dog, nicely balanced, good forehand & feet, moved out well, nice strong muzzle;

2 Flowers & Buckle’s Bingobongo Hollywood Blues, not just as good in upper arm or in such good coat but otherwise looked the part, used his neck well leading into a good outline & nice hindquarters;

2 Bone’s Achouffe Murphy Gray at Adrival.

1 Harrison’s Iacheslei Cantu, impressed me a lot, stands foursquare being really well balanced, pleasing head & eyes, good neck, shoulders, front, legs & feet, very good topline & tail, moved & showed very well. Very nice uncomplicated dog without exaggerations. CC, BOB & G1;

2 Bate’s Sweeping Foxtrot for Kgills, also impressed, good neck & shoulders, nice bone, legs & feet, nice strong hindquarters, good coat;

3 Fraser & Butler’s Ycart Best Shot Remmington.

1 Stockley’s Foxfactor Pied Piper, good head & expression, well balanced, good for body & shape, pleasing bone, legs & feet, nicely coupled, good hindquarters & tail, very good coat & condition, moved with purpose & drive. RCC;

2 Hunt’s Ethlencoral Pip of Ottaswell, very nice dog, good head, pleasing neck, shoulders & topline, full of character, moved out well;

3 Sneddon’s Chesterton Top Hat And Tails.

1 Freeman’s Bolt Tail Jebba, delightful good citizen who has several strings to his bow Including being a true Border. Nice size, moved & showed well, typical head, very expressive.

1 Stockley’s Foxfactor Cue The Music, pleasing head, good neck, shoulders, topline & tailset, nicely made all through & made the most of herself standing & moving, good coat;

2 North’s Chorbeck Miss Money Penny by Northborders, neat, pleasing head, good forehand, well coupled, good coat. Not quite the flow in outline of 1 yet but very attractive & feminine;

3 Phillips’ Nantcoch Ffion, three very promising babies.

1 Lockley’s Chatmoss Chelsea Girl, feminine, pleasing neck & shoulders, obviously still raw but shows a lot of promise, nice coat texture, well proportioned, nice eyes & expression, moved & showed well. BP;

2 Wright’s Pipruda My Mystique about Lassemista, typical head, good neck, topline & tailset, not yet the front development of 1, nice firm thighs;

3 Lambeth’s Lutudarum Acer Amelie.

1 Sansom’s Tifterslodge Tiz Only Me, lovely feminine bitch who pressed hard in the challenge. Pleasing head, good neck, shoulders & outline, neat hindquarters, very good mover, in pleasing coat;

2 Fryer’s Irton Enigma, very like her litter brother in junior dog, bigger than 1 but also an excellent mover & well made, good head & eyes, very nice front, legs & feet, well made hindquarters, rich coloured coat of good texture;

3 Payler’s Badgerbeck The Vivacious at Jansara.

1 May & Whisker’s Thistlestone Jenny Wren, nicely balanced, good moving, typical head, good neck, shoulders & front, nice outline, good tail;

2 Broomhead’s Kgills Five Jive for Bardenfox, good moving bl/t, nice strong hindquarters, nice skull & eyes, not just as good in upper arm as 1, very good coat;

3 South’s Tameila Penny Lane By Borderella.

Hotly contested class.

1 Lockley’s Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss, pleasing head & expression, good neck, shoulders & outline, pleasing front, legs & feet, moved & showed well. Had more coat than it appeared at first glance being dense & tight

2 Coleman’s Hartswelin Top Top, very typical & moved out well, 1 was that little firmer in hindquarters, typical head, good neck, nice bone, good coat;

3 Broomhead’s Hattie Hopefull for Bardenfox.

1 Fraser & Butler’s Wagtail Lass Via Ycart, very good bitch, good for size, shape & movement, typical head, very expressive, good outline, moved & showed well, in very good coat & condition. CC;

2 Barrett’s Ch Howthwaite In Violet, bigger bl/t but in proportion & well balanced, good head & eye, well bodied, good coat & condition, moved well. I gather the last time I judged her I made her BP, I still like her very much. RCC;

3 Coleman’s Hartswelin Far Away.

It was great to see these oldies enjoying their day out & milking up the applause.

1 Wright’s Totherend Bluebelle O’Ball, the youngest in the class & could still compete in the open classes. Good typical bitch, good head, nice neck, shoulders & topline, well made front & hindquarters;

2 Freeman’s Borderella Elsa, somehow I guessed this 8¼ years bitch was a GS & there she was winning the next class. In addition to her various working abilities she is the dam of the GCD winner. Very nice bitch, good body, excellent coat, nice hindquarters, moved soundly;

3 Hardman’s Bonosue Queen Of The Nile.
