BORDER TERRIER

MPD (6,1)

1 Anderson's Glenbucket Diamond Geezer. Upstanding puppy, strong masculine head, but would prefer a smaller eye. Straight narrow front. Level top line. Easily spanned. Good rear angulation. Thick loose pelt and correct double coat. Moved well for age. BPD.

2 Chandler's Raleniro Brand New Age. Another nice puppy. Straight front, good bone, nice length rib.

3 Fraser & Butler's Ycart Earth Stopper.

PD (7)

1 Hollingsbee's Otterwood Cyrus. Stood out in this class. Pleasing head and expression. Well placed shoulders flowing into level topline and finished with a lovely carrot tail. Handy size with good length of rib.

2 Bladen's Daluce Fight Or Fall For Emblehope. Nice headed male, good neck and shoulders, in excellent coat, shorter in rib than first.

3 Thomas' Daluce Soldier Of Forture.

JD (6,

1) Difficult class.

1 Ramus' Ontill Amaretto. Narrow straight front and ribs carried well back. Level topline. Not making the best of himself.

2 Johnson's Skarison Klaret. Smaller type, balanced but not as racy as first. Pleasing head and eye, moved very well. Lacked coat on the day.

3 Wanless' Houndshope Rest Dodd.

YD (5, 2)

1 Johnson's Kosmic Sun Over Karison. Handy size, good front and rear angulation. Ribbed well back, narrow throughout. Shown in excellent coat.

2 Fryer's Irton Morse Code JW. Upstanding masculine male. Strong head and dark eye. Well muscled and moved very well. Would prefer him a size smaller.

3 Marr's Redfox Watchman.

PGD(8, 2)

1 Inness' Grttaacks The Wizard ShCM. Well balanced, masculine head, excellent topline and tailset, lovely carrot tail. Moved very well with good drive from behind.

2 Edwards' Quarryway Tabasco At Dualta. Not as masculine as first. Narrow throughout. Another good mover.

3 Scott's Fehmarn Highland Encounter.

LD(9, 1)

Little to separate first and second.

1. Haughton's Chorbeck Charlie Chaplin JW. Strong masculine head with lovely dark eye and pleasing expression. Good bone, straight front, thick loose pelt. Moved well once settled.

2 Dean's Cedarhill Beyond The Stars JW. Different type; lighter framed balanced male, with appealing head, good topline and tailset, shown in good coat. Preferred movement of first.

3 Anderson's Minx's Diamond.

OD(12, 2)

My final five in this class could change places another day.

1 Bate's Sweeping Foxtrot For Kgills. Handy size, masculine head with broad muzzle and dark eye, lovely expression. Straight front, neat feet, easily spanned with ribs carried well back, lovely carrot tail, good front and rear angulation, well muscled, thick pelt and double coat, moved straight and with purpose. DCC.

2 North's Norythborders Mr Pickles JW. Upstanding masculine b/t, pleasing head and expression, straight narrow front, well placed shoulders, little deeper in rib than first, strong quarters, moved out with good length of stride. RDCC.

3 Harrison's Iacheslei Cantus JW.

GCD(1)

1 Houston's Earthwise Wolfbane JW ShCM. S trong male with excellent front and rear angulation, in good coat, lovely carrot tail, movement let him down in his earlier class.

MPB(13)

1 Armstrong's Ploughdown Portia. My notes say - absolutely gorgeous, balanced, nice size for age, straight front and neat feet, Lovely flowing lines from the top of her sweet head to the tip of her carrot tail. Nicely angulated front and rear. Good length of rib. Moved very controlled and with purpose. In excellent condition. Showed well. Her age and maturity kept her out of the top awards - one to watch.BBP & BP

2 Brannan & Kelly's Cedarhill Rising Star At Brankell. Similar size to first. Balanced narrow racy bitch, pleasing head with strong muzzle, straight front, good front angulation, level topline, ribs carried well back. Showed well but needed time to settle on the move.

3 Dean's Cedarhill Irresistabelle.

PB(6, 1)

1 Brannan's Cedarhill Rising Star At Brankell.

2 Haughton's Jamespaw Cockle Shell Bay By Chorbeck. Very pretty bitch, with a good length of rib, narrow throughout, and level topline, preferred tailset and tail of first, in good coat and moved with drive.

3 Wallace's Hobholt Heiress.

JB(9)

Close decision between 1 & 2.

1 Stockey's Foxfactor Cue The Music JW. Handy size, lovely head and expression, narrow front with good angulation, excellent topline, strong quarters. Well presented, moved with purpose.

2 Harrison's Iacheslei Corus. Similar remarks to first, just preferred head of first, moved very well.

3 Phillips' Natcoch Ffion.

YB(8, 1)

1 Clark's Gameway Dragonfly JW. Pleased with the size of this feminine bitch, very similar to previous class winner, lovely exp, and correct ear carriage. Neat feet, Good bone, strong topline. Moved with drive.

2 Lowry's Ravenside Zenyatta. Strong headed bitch with broad muzzle, good bone, nice lay back of rib, strong quarters, carrying a heavy double coat, preferred front of first.

3 Fryer's Irton Enigma.

PGB (11, 1)

1 Gregory's Manx Ballavale. Had to be handled to be appreciated, loved her head, Broad skull and strong over the muzzle, straight front, easily spanned, in good coat, not shown to her best advantage. Moved true.

2 Tutin's Alcumlow Miss Sixty At Riseburn. Not as strong in head as first, straight front with good bone, ribbed well back, harsh dense coat, well presented.

3 Southam's Southash Hoyylwood Girl.

LB(14, 6)

1 Bean's Manorcroft Chit Chat. Workmanlike upstanding racy bitch, straight narrow front, well placed shoulder, good angulated front and rear, strong level top line, coat just coming through, well presented but did not move as well in the challenge,

2 Fletcher's Picer Beersheba At Wadesleia. Similar type to first, pleasing head with lovely dark eye, nice length of rib but a little deeper than first, moved true.

3 May & Whisker's Thistlestone Jenny Wren ShCM.

OB (7, 2)

Two lovely bitches headed this class.

1 Armstrong's Ir Ch Blewecourt Manhattan At Ploughdown CW11 IR JC, Smart red bitch, Lovely feminine head with a broad skull and strong muzzle and neat ears. Nice reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Well balanced with good angulation front and rear and ribs carried well back. 2 Wildey's Ch Bramblebrae Violet At Shiftyfox JW. Different type, beautiful head and exp, good bone, straight front, good length of rib, nicely comes to hand, thick loose pelt and correct double coat, moved and showed very well. RBCC

3 Pickering's Picer Grace Darling.

GCB(1)

1 Johnson's Karison Koffee. Smaller type, pleasing head and expression, not as racy as my other class winners, shown in a heavy coat which did not help her appearance, moved well.
