Welsh Terrier Club Championship Show, Shenstone, 26th September 2010 DCC & RBIS Wigmore’s The One and Only MPD (0) PD (2) 1. Roe’s Dezrez Voodoo Child. Good head with well set ears, giving keen expression, body coming on well, hope he doers not grow on too much, sound mover. 2. Varley’s West Penn Jumping at Shadows at Shumand. In good harsh coat and well presented, but not moving as fluid as 1. JD (1) 1. Connell’s Sonorra Percy Pimp. Stylish young dog with good overall balance, good front and shoulders producing clean straight movement, well bodied, level topline with well set tail and plenty of substance behind, Res Dog CC. PGD (1) 1. Williams’ Taicligh Star Trooper. Nice size and shape, but expression spoiled by not using ears to advantage, also tended to over stretch hindquarters, in good coat and condition. LD (1) 1. Cassidy’s Boowire Wild Ginger. Long powerful head, ears flying high at times, good neck and shoulders, in super harsh coat with plenty of leg furnishings, a credit to presentation and hard work in preparing the coat. OD (4) 1. Wigmore’s The One and Only. Liked overall shape and size, with strong head carried on powerful neck, clean cut front, well ribbed body, best mover in class. Dog CC and Res BIS. 2. Robertson’s Felstead Funny Fellow at Renevis. Larger made type, but masculine throughout, and all in proportion, good coat. 3. Hughes & Pearce’s Knowelion Allow Me. MPB (1) 1. Barney’s Romaunt Ange Ou Demon. Just 7 mths old, keen and outgoing, nice expression, good width of head developing, nice feminine shape, will look better when coat and furnishings fully through. PB (1) 1. Evans’ Pendeavour Passthetime. Lovely welsh young lady of 11 mths, maturing nicely and soundly made throughout, nice clean outline, firm hindquarters with good angulation, body developing well, moved well when settled. BP. 1. P Passthe time. 2. Varley’s Stargus Bellavista at Jolliver. Nice basic shape and outline, in good jacket, handler needed to find the right pace to get the best movement out of exhibit. 3. Humphries’ Felstead Floral Beauty. PGB (6.2) 1. Poole’s Boowire Sunrise of Alokin. Close decision between these two very attractive bitches, just preferred more positive movement of 1, good overall shape, well bodied, well set tail. 2. Nicholson’s Felstead Wishful Star. Very good head and expression, good bite, well set ears, nice type throughout. LB (4.1) 1. Snow’s Felcwm Top Knot. Top Knot in top notch, super feminine appearance being of the right size and shape, with great balance, powerful jaw, well set eye, short body with well set tail, moved parallel and with ease, coat still to clear, but enough quality to win Bitch CC and BIS. 2. Humphries’ Leadstaffs Morwenna. Carrying too much weight and not using ears, but deserved placing on breed type. 3. Griffiths’ Dobelands Ebony Lace. OB (4.2) 1. Hughes and Pearce’s Knowlelion Almighty Martha. Nicely made bitch, and glad to see her in full harsh jacket and with plenty of furnishings, soundly made which resulted in true driving and clean movement. Res B CC. 2. Spragg’s Saredon Delta Dawn. Another very nice bitch, but preferred outline and shape of 1. Max King (Judge) |
