WELSH JUDGE WINDSOR 18

A pleasure to have an interesting collection of Welsh Terriers to judge. Thank you for that, and also thanks to my stewards.

JD/B (2)

1Spragg's Westpenn Sugar Mama. Correct size, but I'd prefer a little more bone and can develop in chest, excellent mover, head of good proportions and good eye and ears, sound in movement.

2 Witmond's Tiltser Liberty Lady. 9 mths, tall bitch of good bone, excellent coat and colours, a little straight in quarters which shows in her rear action, good head type, reluctant to move on the day.

PGD/B (5, 4)

1 Bennett's Tough Cookie At Bolhaus. 5 yrs, of good size and bone, strong headed dog, good ribcage, a little wide in front, ears can be better.

OD/B (5)

Interesting to sort out.

1 Graham's Stanstead Shining Star. Real Welsh for size and substance and coat and colour. Correct in head and eye, scord in eye and rear angulation and size to take this and BOB. Delighted to learn she now has a title.

2 Hughes & Pearce's Knowlelion Morning Sky. Two and a half yrs, smaller bitch with good type in the head and very short back and good tail, a little straight in the rear. I preferred the eye of the winner. Res BB.

3 Bradley's Aman The Prince Of Wales. Best male. I liked his body, bone and substance. I'd prefer more strength of foreface and he was going wide behind.
