A super well run friendly Show. Thank you to the Committee for the invite to judge the Show, and thank you to the exhibitors for bring me their lovely Welsh Terriers to judge.
When baiting your dog on the table and having the treat facing you to the side, it makes it very difficult for the judge to get the dogs attention. Try, if you’re baiting the dog on the table you stand in front with the treat.
MINOR PUPPY DOG (1) (0) abs
1st Mr, Mrs & Miss Williams – Tillmonts Rocket Man
Super young male, so full of himself. Really gave his handler a hard time. Just 7 months, very well put together for his age.
Smart well balanced and compact. Good head, dark small eye, powerful jaw, with scissor bite. Small ears set fairly high, close to cheek. Correct length of neck, moderate, sloping into well laid shoulders. Short back and well ribbed. Strong in loin. Strong hind quarters, well-muscled and angulated. Cooperated with his handler just enough to see his correct movement. True for and aft, topped off with a lovely jacket, wiry, and hard. Show in tip top condition.

1st Ms Bennet & Mr Innes – Jodean Commando at Bolhaus
Smart and workman like, well balanced. Good head, powerful jaws, with scissor bite. Neat ears, carried forward close to cheek. Small dark eyes. Neck moderate in length into sloping shoulders, level topline, short and well ribbed. Strong in loin. Well-muscled with good bone.
Lovely hard wiry coat, shown in good condition. Handled and presented excellently.

1st Mrs Plumbly – Bolhaus Sedbergh Scholar
Good in head, neat well-set ears, scissor bite, very good muscle moved well in front and behind. Excellent presentation.

1st Mr Koenig & Miss Obelenski – Woodlands Moon Dust
Good head with well-placed small ears, scissor bite. Moderate neck into arched shoulders. Back short, well ribbed strong loin. Tail carried gay. Well-muscled and moved well.
2nd Mrs Watkin-Jones – Wespenn Just For You
Nice outline, but didn’t behave on the table or the floor.

Smart bitch workman like with good head and ear set carried forward close to cheek. Scissor bite. Moderate neck into a good shoulder. Short backed and well ribbed, strong loin. well-muscled, moved with drive. Well presented. RBB

1st Mr Spragg – Westpenn Black Magic Woman
Lovely bitch to go over. A flat moderate head, with width between ears, which are small fairly high set and close to the check. Scissor bite, strong jaw. Moderate neck into well set sloping shoulder. Back short and well ribbed. Strong in loin. Very well-muscled. Move very well. Condition and presentation top class.
