RCC; 2 Snow’s Felstead Flintoff, very good welsh head, well placed ears, moved well. Seemed to be carrying a bit of weight which spoilt the picture. Good texture. MPB (3) 1 Gatto-Ronchieri’s Solentine Say It Again, grand head & ears, reachy neck, good topline, well angled shoulder, tail on top, moved & showed really well; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Beyond The Dream, pleasing head & ears, like her type, tail on top, in great form, just pipped at the post; 3 Cassidy’s Alokin at Sunrise. PB (1) 1 Llewellin & Wittenstrom’s Cloverbud’s Gift Of Music, stood on its own today, still very young, good 2 thigh, showing well. JB (4) 1 Somers & Andrews’ Dogazzas La Boheme, well balanced, good outline when settled, big quarters, moved OK, very alert; 2 Hughes’ Mokath Miss Nia, good coat & colour. Too small for me; 3 Croxson’s Cwmniaeth Royal Star. PGB (4) 1 Hughes’ Knowlelion Calamity Jane, nice head & ears which she uses well, pretty, good size, in good jacket, moved & showed well for her handler. RCC; 2 Williams’ Saredon High Voltage, nice bitch in good coat, ears unsettled on the day. Good rear movement; 3 Somers’ Saredons Monkey Business at Dogazza. LB (4) 1 Griffiths & Pesci-Griffiths’ Dobelands Ebony Lace of Rhydri, eye catching, good head. Not the best expressions. Long neck, good topline & ribcage, moved & showed OK, handled well; 2 Gatto-Ronchieri’s Solentine Say No More, is typically the old Welsh type, good head & ears, showing well, tail on top, in good nick; 3 Hughes’ Felstead Foxy Lady. OB (2) 1 Booton’s Boowire Mandarin Sunset, looking the best I have seen her, in wonderful bloom, long feminine head, good ears used all the time, true front, long neck, great topline, stood foursquare, tail on top, moved OK, asked for this title, well done. CC; 2 Spragg’s Saredon Delta Dawn, a bit too cobby for me, her weight spoilt her outline. Nice head & ears, good tailset. ANDREW HUNT |
