WELSH JUDGE SOUTH WALES 19

OD (1)

1 Robertson’s Tiltser Thunder Bay At Renevis. Very compact dog of a nice size with good bone and substance. His head is of a decent length with correctly placed eyes and ears, enough neck into a good front assembly, short level back and his ribs extend back to a short loin. Nicely angulated quarters and well conditioned in muscle tone. He was presented in very good condition and moved true both ways with economical ground covering action. CC & BOB.

PB (3)

1 Hughes, De-Munter & Sinclair’s Knowelion Sassy Boots. Very pretty puppy who has a clean head of desired proportions. Well set ears and eyes attributing to a typical expression, clean neck into well placed shoulders and she has a short level back. Nicely angulated quarters and a well set tail which she carries correctly. Presented in good order and moved true. I would prefer a little more size and substance all round.

2 Graham’s Stanstead Killer Queen. Different type who is more typical for bone and substance with correctly placed eyes and ears. Nicely angulated front and well boned straight forelegs. Good bend of stifle with low hocks and she was presented in good order. Moved true both ways when settled. The winner scored in head and topline.

3 Bennett’s Welsh Attitude Oh By Myself At Bolhaus.

LB (2)

1 Graham’s Stanstead Pussy Galore. Typical bitch for size, bone and substance who has a short level back and a good tail set. Her head is balanced with a correct expression which is attributed by her correctly placed eyes and ears, clean neck into well set shoulders, straight well boned fore legs and good feet. Her ribs are nicely carried back to a short loin and her quarters are correctly angulated. She was presented in very good order and moves true both ways. I would prefer a tad more front extension when viewed from side profile. RCC.

2 Watkin-Jones’ Little Blossom Of The Sky. Decent length of head with a good bite, enough neck into a decent front assembly, moves soundly in front. There is far too much of her all through for me.

OB (1)

1 Hughes & Pearce’s Knowelion Keep It A Secret. This bitch has the most beautiful head which is of the desired proportions with a characteristic expression attributed by her correctly sized and placed ears and eyes. Clean neck into a correctly angulated front with straight well boned forelegs. Her ribs are carried well back to a short loin and her tail is correctly placed. Her quarter angles mirror her front assembly and she was presented in good order. She moved soundly both fore and aft with the correct footfall when viewed from side profile, BCC. In the challenge for BOB the dog had the edge in topline and showmanship.
