WELSH BULL SOUTH WALES 12 Judge(s): ALEXANDRA WITMOND WELSH TERRIER I would like to thank all those exhibitors who came under me; it's always difficult when only one CC is on offer and one has to think twice re cost etc. I had an entry of 15 of which all were representing the breed standard and all fit for purpose. PD 1 Connell's Sonorra Danny Dazzler; res best dog; 8 mths, well presented, nice welsh head and dark eye, short back, nice depth of chest and tailset, still very raw and needs time to relax on the move. PGD 1 Varey's Sonorra Charlie Brown; nice headed dog long in leg, lacking depth of rib; good coat and colour presented well. LD 1 Connell's Sonorra Dirty Harry; Best dog; res cc; good size and stature, moved well, well laid back shoulders, good quarters and second thigh, welsh head used his ears to his advantage, giving him a good expression. 2 Pearce and Hughe's Demorner Hats Off; nice headed dog, good substance, short back moved well, I liked him but his chances were spoilt by his presentation, his body coat , furnishings and facial expression were spoilt by his excess of coat thickness of coat. PB 1 Snow's Felstead Amazing Grace; best puppy; 8mths, full of herself and a bit too full on, needs more lead and ring training, but a lovely feminine bitch, overall a good type. 2 Robertson's Renevis Good as Gold; another good type, 8 mths, not as solid as 1, but still very raw in a couple of months will be picture perfect. JB 1 Barney's Verrami Jus Toff; res best bitch; I liked this alot, good type, well bodied, movement good, very feminine head with a lovely expression, on her toes showing well, sharper trimming will complete the picture and she'll be up there! LB 1 Connell's Sonorra Slap Happy; good size, short back, nice set on, just looked a bit wide in front. OB 1 Poole's Ch Alokin August Morning; Best butch, CC and BOB; classy bitch on her toes, good bodied short back, nice angulation with second thigh, lovely length of neck into well laid shoulders, good movement, very feminine head, presented well. 2 William's Saredon High Voltage; bigger than 1, showed well, good bodied, presentation was lacking and her chances were spoilt by too much coat and furnishings.
