Welsh Terriers

PD (1)

1 BP, Witmond’s Tiltser Double O’Seven, lovely dog pup of 7 months, he looks full of promise. Cracking head & eyes, OK in front, deep enough for age & a perfect topline & tail set on. Good straight mover covering the ground easily. Excellent pigment too!

JD (2)

1 Davies & Bradley’s Perrisblu The Duke, nice for size & a sturdy build, liked his head & strong muzzle, OK in neck, too much leg hair makes him appear to move wide in front. Topline can still strengthen. Super quarters of good width & strength. Excellent jacket;

2 Collins’ Colldale Call Of Duty, looking a bit leggy at the moment & needs to drop into himself, a little narrow all through too. I’m sure a few more months will help him widen & deepen. Well handled.

LD (2,1a)

1 RCC, Eastwood & Vickers’ Welsh Dragon, on his own but a worthy limit winner, even at 18 months old, clean skull, well placed eyes, neat ears, OK in front, short back. Tail comes over a bit too much, strong muscular quarters with well bent stifle & neat hocks, in excellent jacket. Moved pretty well all ways.

OD (2,1a)

1 CC & BOB, Avveduti & Sarycheva’s World Int It Ch Cunnings Thundering Trickster, a lovely solid welsh of good quality, well made, super head, excellent topline & quarters, good front, bone & feet, showing & moving well all round.

VD (1)

1 Draper’s Russtam Simply A Prince, biggish dog in sparkling form & loving the ring, straight mover, firm level topline, hard coat & well handled.

PB (1)

1 Heath’s Cannyyatton Mr Tiggywinkle, very light in body & needs some weight on her. Growing a bit bum high at the moment, but should drop with more age on her. Moved OK for width & straightness but her running up topline detracts in profile.

JB (2)

1 Evans & Jenkins’ Pendevour Paige, she stands with a bad dip in her topline but comes right on the move! Beautiful head, good harsh coat. Rather tied in shoulder & moves that way coming towards, super sound rear, well set tail;

2 Davidson’s Russtam Summer Loving, a little lacking in angulation front & rear, so not covering enough ground in profile movement. Slightly more neck length would help too. Shows well & has a lovely personality, good coat, excellent bone & body. A moderate neck length rather than short is ideal

LB (4,1)

1 CC, Potts’ Kebulak She Devil, lovely bitch all through, when she settled to move, I admired her strength & breed type, no mistaking her breed! Super front, body & rear, well boned legs & tidy small feet, excellent coat & she is very precise moving;

2 Collins’ Colldale Boudica, smaller & a little weaker in build & bone. She shows nicely & makes the most of herself, good short coupled bitch, moved OK & well handled;

3 Heath’s Cannyyatton Flora Lilli.

OB (1)

1 RCC, Witmond’s Ch Tiltser Million Dollar Baby, standing looks a picture for type & balance, moving she doesn’t cover as much ground as I would expect & she looks a touch stilted in rear. Super hard backline, well ribbed back, beautiful head & expression too, well handled & presented to perfection
