WELSH NATIONAL TERRIER 11 Welsh Terriers Judge/s:Andrew Westwood Welsh Terriers MPD (2) 1 Travers’ Demorner Jackflash, good young dog, good size, head & expression, forward for age, in excellent coat; 2 Witmond’s Tiltser The Highlander, nice dog, very good head, eye & expression, still very much a baby. PD (3) 1 Scawthorn’s Saredon Prince Of Darkness, excellent young dog, excellent head, correct ears, good neck & shoulders, good size, pleasing outline, in good coat & trim. Still needs time but could not deny his quality. CC & BP; 2 Pearce’s Demorner Hats off, good young dog, liked him a lot. A little too much coat but has a bright future. JD (1) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Dark Secret, good sort, excellent head & expression, good neck & shoulders, moved & shown well. PGD (2) 1 Heath’s Cannyyatton Hot Spot for Jolliver, nice type, good size, head OK, short backed, good quarters; 2 Varley’s Westpenn Jumping At Shadows at Shumand, good head, neck & shoulders. Longer than 1. Moved OK. LD (1) 1 Cassidy’s Boowire Wild Ginger, good type, pleasing head, nice size. Shade long. In excellent coat & condition. OD (4) 1 Halliwell’s Ch Wigmore The One And Only, excellent headed dog, nice neck & shoulders, good size, good tailset, strong quarters, sound as a bell. RCC; 2 Connell’s Ch Sonorra Percy Pimp, quality, well made dog, good head, neck & shoulders, moved well, in good order; 3 Hunt’s Felstead Funny Fellow at Renevis. MPB (1) A. PB (4) 1 Somers’ Dogazzas La Boheme, good type, very good head, nice expression, made good outline when settled, good quarters, moved out well; 2 Croxson’s Cwmniath Royal Star, good size, head OK. Not as short as 1 & ears not as good; 3 Hughes’ Mokath Miss Nia. JB (3) 1 Evans’ Pendevour Pass The Time, super headed bitch, good expression & ears, nice neck & shoulders, well bodied, good tailset, strong quarters, moved well behind, in good coat; 2 C Royal Star. PGB (1)A LB (4) 1 Byrne’s Saredon Dark Calling over Eskwyre, a bitch I have judged before, quality bitch of ideal size, good head & expression, excellent neck & shoulders, short backed, well ribbed up, good tailset, strong quarters, in excellent coat & condition, moved & showed well. CC & BOB; 2 Hughes’ Knowlelion Bertha Brain Box, good bitch & will do well in time; 3 Ashton’s Jolliver The Lady In Red. OB (6) 1 Hughes’ Ir Ch Knowlelion Almighty Martha, good type, nice head & expression, good neck, short backed, good tailset. Just preferred size of CC winner. RCC; 2 Hunt’s Alokin August Morning, tidy bitch, pleasing outline, moved well, in good order; 3 Booton’s Boowire Mandarin Sunset. ANDREW WESTWOOD |
