WELSH MANCHESTER 14 Judge: Mr Joe Ashe CC & BOB : 1699 POTTS Mr A R Ir Ch Kebulak Trigger Happy WELSH JUDGE MANCHESTER 14 Welsh Terriers PD (3) 1 Crabtree’s Brocolitia Revenge, good in outline, still needs to develop, but has all the right attributes. Balanced head, good eye giving good expression. Correct dentition, short coupled good angulation, moved erratic at first, but enough to show that with further training he has potential; 2 Shackell & Redman’s Romaunt Waking The Dead, thicker set dog, good head & earset, nice colour & coat well presented, preferred reach of neck of 1; 3 Ashton’s Red Kite to Kitesprite. JD (1) 1 B Revenge. PGD (1) 1 Varey’s Sonorra Charlie Brown, masculine dog, good proportions, strong head, good mouth, well placed shoulder, good tailset, excellent coat & well presented. LD (2) 1 Connell’s Sonorra Danny Dazzler, well balanced, good angulation, typical head, dark eye nice neck, short coupled, excellent tailset, very well presented good front movement, would prefer stronger rear movement. RBD; 2 Heath’s Cannyyatton Hot Shot for Jolliver, nice outline slightly longer cast than 1, good tailset, further grooming would improve overall picture, well handled. OD (3,1a) 1 Potts’ Ir Ch Kebulak Trigger Happy, excellent welsh head, good dark eye, good mouth, well placed shoulder, strong loin, short coupled with good tailset, top presentation & best mover of the day. CC & BOB; 2 Williams’ Taicligh Star Trooper Unlucky, to meet 1, good outline, good ear placement, good dentition, ample bone, well ribbed, well presented & handled, preferred movement of 1. VD (1) 1 Duhig & Kong’s Mandrill Gold Hill, excellent for his age, masculine head good shoulder, still in good coat & presentation covered the ring well. PB (8) Difficult class with ages from 6 months to 12 months, a number of quality puppies which shows the future strength of the breed, maturity varied with the ages of the puppies. 1 Barney’s Romaunt Croissant Neuf, feminine head, without being coarse, good ear & eye giving the required expression, nice neck into good shoulder placement, good forequarters, short back & good tailset, good coat & colour. Correct maturity for her age, moved well around the ring. BP & RBB; 2 Hughes & Pearce’s Knowlellon Keep It A Secret, another quality bitch, similar to 1 a little more refined moved as well as 1, but preferred the maturity of 1; 3 Graham’s Stanstead Miss Whip Lash. JB (2) 1 Hughes’ Cwmniaeth Coffi Hufen at Mokath, stood foursquare, compact, well balanced with good angulation covered the ground well; 2 Crabtree’s Brocolitia Avenging Dream, more refined bitch, lacking maturity, good neck & head, erratic in movement which made it difficult to assess movement. Preferred substance & movement of 1. PGB (0). LB (4,1) 1 Spragg’s Westpenn Merry Go Round, very showy bitch, typical welsh type good bone & substance, good outline & angulation. Tailset well on top, good coat & presentation. A little weight loss would improve the picture & placing in the future. BB & RCC; 2 Witmond’s Tiltser Jubilee, a very feminine bitch, good head well placed ears, good neckline into well placed shoulder, good tailset, excellent coat & presentation.
