WELSH JUDGE MANCHESTER 10

Welsh Terriers

JD (2)

1 Williams’ Valucis Vitally Sparky, good size, lovely temperament, enough neck, deep chest. Coat needs to harden up although OK on legs. Good short back. A mite narrow coming towards but neat quarters;

2 Robertson’s Felstead Funny Fellow at Renevis, excellent coat & condition of body & gleaming coat. Oversized & rather a tied in shoulder & not correct coming towards. Lovely rear, excellent topline, firm & level & shows well.

PGD (1)

1 Williams’ Taicligh Star Trooper, nice boy but tends to side wind, I image because he is slightly taller than long & could do with slightly better balance. Pleasing head & sparkling eyes, enough neck, wonderful coat well presented, tail set well on top, perfectly level backline, well handled. BD;

LD (2)

1 Cassidy’s Boowire Wild Ginger, another who I thought taller than long & giving very upright rectangular appearance. Ears a bit wayward & rather restricted front & rear stride. Very true going & coming. Super coat, hard topline, good firm legs, tail set well.

OD (1)

1 Snow’s Nogard Nothing To Declare, good size & proportions of height to length, super head, eyes & expression, good temperament. Well muscled but a little overwide coming towards & has a dip in topline. Excellent rear, nice drive off hocks, good thick coat & well presented. RBD.

PB (2)

1 Vickers & Punter’s Saredon Dark Calling over Eskwyre, really promising, just needs to toughen up in topline to really hit the heights. Loved her head proportions & muzzle to back skull, nicely shaped eyes, good neck, lovely lay of shoulders, ample bone, tight neat feet, nice ratio of height to length, tail set well, promising coat, easy & active mover. BP

2 Humphries’ Felstead Floral Beauty, super coat, lovely rich colour. Ears a bit wayward & need to settle. Deep chest. Topline can still improve & tailset too low. Moved OK up & down but lost topline on the move.

JB (1)

1 Rowe’s Dezrez Teenage Kicks, very good size & overall shape & proportions. Head a touch narrow through back skull & ears could be set & carried better. OK in front, lovely body, excellent firm backline, well set tail. Enough hind angulation but could flex stifles more, just a little stiff going away.

PGB (1)

1 Glover-Byrne’s Jodean Maggie May, correct size & proportions. Standing dips in topline but does pull herself together in profile movement. Liked her head & eyes, broad jaws, just right in neck & front, good body, OK going away, shows well.

LB (2)

1 Spragg’s Saredon Delta Dawn, not much wrong with this fine girl! Strong, fit, full of herself & eager to please, pleasing head & earset, OK in neck, well ribbed back, firm backline, good quarters & tailset, moved OK all round. RCC.

OB (5)

1 Barney’s Romaunt Dotco Dot You Kay at Verrami, lovely size & type, excellent conformation & lay of shoulder, typy head, not overlong, good bone & feet, short back, well made rear, in good coat & muscle tone, super mover with easy extension & very true both ways. CC, BOB & shortlisted in group;

2 Averis & Scawthorn’s Saredon It Had To Be You, put down to perfection, lovely head & outline. Would like better lay of shoulder & a bit tied at the elbows. Super topline, body, tail & rear, in wonderful coat. Moves fast but short steps in front which doesn’t quite match good rear.

3 Booton’s Boowire Mandarin Sunset.
