WELSH LEEDS 17 Judge: Mrs S Connell BEST OF BREED : 5033 EVANS, Mrs N & JENKINS Ms L Pendevour Paige WELSH JUDGE LEEDS 17 PD (1) 1 Witmond's Tiltser Double O' Seven. Clean head of a decent length with a good expression, straight forelegs, although he is a little narrow in the front, good depth of ribs which are well carried back, I would prefer a level topline, good tail set and nicely conditioned quarters, which are well angulated. RCC & BPIB. LD (2) 1 Eastwood & Vickers' Welsh Dragon. A nice type who has plenty of bone and substance. Good head pattern with well set eyes and neat ears giving a true expression. Clean neck into well set shoulders with a correct ratio and angle of upper arm. His ribs are well carried back to a short loin and his top line is level with a well set tail. His quarters are well conditioned in muscle tone, but I would prefer his quarters less exaggerated in angulation. Moved soundly both fore and aft and presented in super condition. DCC. 2 Orton's Tiltser Gold Finger. Decent head, eyes and ears, level topline and well set tail. Moved true in front. VD (1) 1 Draper's Russtam Simply A Prince. Seven years of age who was in good condition. Ample bone and substance with straight fore legs, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. Covered the ground when viewed from side profile. PB (1) 1 Heath's Cannyyatton Mrs Tiggywinkle. Nice size who has a good head with nicely placed eyes and ears. Good length of neck into well laid back shoulders, would prefer a better topline, good quarters. Moved well in front. JB (1) 1 Evans & Jenkins' Pendevour Paige. The most beautiful of heads which is flat, clean and of a good length, her eyes and ears are correctly placed, but I would prefer a tad more lift for perfection. Elegant neck into a text book front assembly, level topline although her exuberance attributes to her leaning into her front at times which can affect her top line. Good spring of ribs which are well carried back to a short loin. Nicely angulated quarters which mirror her front angles portraying a balanced silhouette. Her movement is true both fore and aft and she covers the ground effortlessly when viewed from side profile. Presented and handled to a high standard. CC & BOB. PGB (1) 1 Graham's Stanstead Shining Star. A lovely bitch who is extremely typical and balanced. Lovely head, eyes and ears culminating in a typical expression, Good front assembly and straight well boned forelegs, nice spring of ribs carried well back to a short loin. Nicely angulated quarters which are well muscled, and she has a good tail set. I felt she lacked enthusiasm today and at times she was rocking back on her front which affected her topline. She is a lovely bitch and with a little finer trimming and more show ring training she should get her title with ease. RCC. LB (2) 1 Riley's Yonichi Pistol Raider. Nice type with a good head, well placed eyes and tidy ears giving a true expression. Enough neck into a good front assembly, ribs well carried back to a short loin and she has a good tail set. Her quarters are well angulated and conditioned in muscle tone. Her topline dips and detracts from her overal balance. Moved soundly in front with correct foot fall when viewed from side profile. 2 Callon & Callon-Winn's Russtam Rainbows End. A different type of bitch to the winner, she has good bone and substance, a decent type of head with nicely placed eyes and ears which could be larger. Level topline and a good tail set. Moved true in front. OB (2, 1) 1 Schoneberg's Kebulak She Devil. Nice size, although I feel she lacks breed type. Clean head with nicely placed ears, a little too large in eyes which spoils her expression, too much neck into well placed shoulders, level topline and well angulated quarters. Moved ok in front and a little close behind.
