WELSH LEEDS 10 Judge: Mr Tom H Johnston WELSH JUDGE LEEDS 10 Welsh Terriers PD (2) 1 Williams’ So What Valucis, promising youngster with balanced head of good length dark eye, adequate length of neck good straight legs good depth & well ribbed up, coat a touch soft & covered well when settled. BP. JD (1) 1 Connell’s Sonorra Percy Pimp, masculine balanced head good skull & muzzle, good ear placement, good length & thickness to neck, very good bone , compact smart young dog well muscled & good feet, positive movement & presented in good wiry hard coat. LD (2) 1 Barney’s Romaunt Chicago Outfit, very good head with strong muzzle & dark eye, well placed ears carried well, strong neck, straight bone well muscled in rear moved well when settled good coat texture; 2 Hughes & Pearce’s Knowlelion Allow Me, masculine head of good length but slightly narrower than one in skull, ears well placed, good length to neck, compact but would have prefer a slightly firmer topline in profile, good legs & feet, ample muscle tone, good coat texture. OD (4) 1 Robertson’s Felstead Funny Fellow at Renevis, masculine balanced head with strong muzzle, dark eye, well placed ears very good expression, good neck with slight arch, good depth & short back, straight legs & stands on good feet, a balanced smart exhibit who held good profile when covering the ground, well presented in good hard wiry coat. CC & BOB; 2 Scawthorn & Day’s Saredon Fourth Of July, masculine balanced head with good ears , good neck & overall body shape, also has good breed type & projects a quality picture, not quite as game on the move as 1, very presented in good coat condition. RCC; 3 Haliwell’s Wigmore The One And Only. PB (0). JB (3) 1 Poole’s Boowire Sunrise of Alokin, feminine balanced head with good ears, good neck bone & depth of body, holds good topline, firm loin moved true fore & aft, compact & presented in good wiry coat; 2 Ashton’s Jolliver Celtic Flame, pleasing head & dark eye, well placed ears good neck & slightly more rounded in body shape than 1, good rear & good feet, good type & good front action when covering the ground but preferred the rear action of 1. LB (3) 1 Spragg’s Saredon Delta Dawn, smart feminine exhibit with good balanced head & expression, good ear placement & carried well, good neck & compact body good bone & strong loin, good muscled rear, good feet & covered the ground with purpose, presented in good hard coat. RCC; 2 Ashton’s Jolliver The Lady In Red, of a similar mould & overall quality as 1, just preferred the overall expression & drive of 1, well presented; 3 Rundle’s Felstead Fair Delighted. OB (2) 1 Hughes’ Knowlelion Almighty Martha, balanced head of good length & width of skull. Dark eye & well paced ears carried well, good length of neck with slight arch, good depth & topline well placed tail, compact, smart & workmanlike, stands on good feet, covered the ground with attitude & true action, good hard wiry coat. CC; 2 Roe’s Dezrez Teenage Kicks, pleasing head & expression, good neck & overall body shape, well developed rear, good hard coat & held good picture on the move but felt 1 was more positive.
