WELSH JUDGE LKA 22

My overall observation is that many dogs were too high in the leg and the rib cage not deep enough, improvement of bone density is needed, some were too light in bone for a Welsh. My top dogs were extremely representative of the breed standard. Thank you to all exhibitors.

1 Robertson’s Renevis Robb Roy. Beautiful conditioned dog very elegant outline correct textured coat and furnishings in a rich tan, correct shoulder placement.tail set perfect. Carried well and high, good rear angulation well muscled second thigh. Moving well fore and aft. Just a bit high on leg at the moment needs to drop to complete picture. Best Puppy in Breed

1 Young & Mc Cluskey’s Itus from Michel at Chadbrook. Good size, nice shape well made hind quarters tat let down to firm hocks. Head ok but short in muzzle, ear set correct and carried well. Level topline and kept it on the move. A little less furnishings would enhance him better.

1 Cantrell’s. Carajon Grooeswr NI. Lovely size and head shape good neck into correct shoulders, parallel front movement short back. Well muscled hind quarters but hind movement not very positive. Sweet dog and well handled and showed well for this first time exhibitor.

2 Plumbly’s Bolhaus Sedbergh Scholar. Top size strong muscular head, very weak hind movement, upright in shoulder and a longish back. General shape ok

1 O’Connel’s Darywn The Best is Yet to Come. dog in lovely order, strong head, well placed ears and dark eye. Well muscled hindquarters, good lay back of shoulder and showed well around the ring.

2 Edward’s To Darn Hot at Pendevour. Smaller dog overall, sweet head, upright in shoulder, top line not as good as 1, movement not as positive, put down in good order and well handled. Needs a bit more weight on him.

Difficult class, two super beautiful dogs representative of the breed standard.

1 Avveduti’s.Ch.Cunnings. Lovely balanced and shaped dog although top size, correct shaped head, dark eye and good ear placement. Grizzle coat in good condition. Shoulders correct that slope into neck and body, front movement good carried topline well around the ring, tail on top. CC and BOB and 4 th in the Terrier group

2 Robertson’s Renevis Rollercoaster. Correct size, excels in a beautiful black coarse jacket, good expression and used his ears well. Hind movement strong and positive, topline level tail set good, very balanced Res CC.

1 Bennett’s Bolhaus Royal Roit. Pretty 6 mth puppy, good outline coat and colour. Nicely balanced moved well for her first show.

2 Young & Mc Cluskey’s London Baby from Michel at Chadbrook. Another sweet baby first time out, moved well around the ring, not as short backed as 1 and coat not quite ready yet.

1 Davies’s Diamond Crown. Lovely make & shape well groomed, covered the floor well, pretty feminine head used ears well, nicely balanced bitch

2 Karov Saredon Tell me Less. Bigger than 1 and more racy, movement not as good and longer in the back. Pretty head showed and handled ok coat could be improved.

1 Dams Jodean Cleopatra. Lovely make and shape, good body strong hind quarters well angulated, typical head and ear carriage, well balanced bitch, good topline and tail set. Res CC

OB

1 Averis & Barkers Saredon Amazonian Princess. Super feminine bitch perfect size and head, she covers the ground so well, very balanced lovely outline, neckline than goes into good shoulders and short back. Presented and groomed well. CC.

2 Ferguson - Blakeley & Davani. Kebulak Devil Woman. Bigger than 1 and more racey in outline not as balanced. Rather erratic movement. Neat head and ear set, good level topline standing lost it rather in the move .tail on top, well groomed.
