A sincere thank you to the officers of the LKA for my first appointment at a General Championship Show, and also to the stewards who helped the event to run so smoothly. A small entry but nevertheless a privilege to go over four closely matched bitches.

1st: Ms S Handel’s Darwyn's Celtic Beauty. A pretty 11 month puppy. Clean head and alert expression, good ear carriage, expressive eyes and perfect scissor bite. Graceful neckline into well laid shoulders, nicely ribbed up and tail on top. Movement a little loose, should improve with age and muscle tone. Well presented. BP, RBB and RBOB.

1st: Mr & Mrs Thomas’ Saredon Desert Bloom At Somerwel. A well-toned 2 year old with plenty of drive. Dark expressive eye, strong jaw and perfect bite. Nicely laid shoulder, good depth of chest, plenty of bone and muscle, strong loin and well set tail. Sometimes when stacked she leans forward, giving a sloping top line, but when corrected she has a good profile. BB and BOB.
2nd: Mr & Mrs Varey’s Mariinsk Don't Stop Me Now. Different type to 1st, being finer all round, but plenty to like. Pretty, with flat skull, nice dark eyes, clean cut jaw and another excellent bite. Good thickness of leathers and well set, but spoiled slightly by the carriage, being a little too far from the cheeks. Graceful neck into level top line and good set on. Excellent movement in profile, although a little close when going away. Superb harsh black jacket and excellent overall presentation.
OB (1 Entry) Abs: 0
Handel’s Ir Ch Sonorra Magical Melody. Very pretty 2 year old, lovely expression, and yet another good bite and strong white teeth. Nice neck into good lay of shoulder, short back, level top line, good tail set but spoiled by flat carriage. Strong and positive mover. She lost interest for the challenge, perhaps resulting from the change of handler.
