WELSH JUDGE CRUFTS 26

Many thanks to the Committee for selecting me to judge this breed. I haven't watched Welsh for a while now. Sadly breed type was lacking in several exhibits. Well done to my BOB being shortlisted in the Group. PD (1) 1 Robertson's Renevis Rollerball. I am sure this pup will have a bright future. Well balanced. Neat head and ears. Correct front and back. Excellent breed type. Easily BP. RCC. PGD (3) 1 Nitka & Schmid's Omar Vom Granitfelsen. Well up to size. Fair head and ears. Plenty bone and substance. Jacket in good order. Moved OK. 2 Bennett & Innes. Jodean Commando at Bolhaus. Needs more body. Moved and showed OK. 3 Griffiths's Chadbrook Foreign Trade. LD (4) 1 Williams's Tilmonts Rocket Man. Masculine dog. Nice type. In good order. Moved well when settled. 2 Crabtree's Tedtree Diamond Geezer. Not the quality of 1 but nice breed type. 3 Plumbly's Sedbergh Scholar. OD (4,2) 1 Arreduti's Int Ch Cunnings Arlecchino. A proper Welsh Terrier. Lovely outline. Typical Welsh head and ears. Correct length of neck into well laid shoulder. Good spring of rib. Tail on top. Moved like a dream. CC. BOB. 2 Schoneborg's Ch Paperman Arteon. Plain in outline. Not enough breed type for me. VD (1) 1 Humphries Penparc Skyfall. Neat head. In fair condition. BV. PB (1) 1 O'Connell's Wickie Von Granitfelsen at Letoha. Fair type. Was a bit fidgety on the move. Decent outline. JB (1) 1 Karou's Valley Maria Girl. A little wide in front. Difficult to assess her movement as she kept crabbing. PGB (5,1) 1 O'Connell's Letohas Maid In Italy. Nice outline. Well laid shoulders. Tail on top. Moved very well. 2 Nemesszeghyt Strnad Terrerix Yvaine. Decent coat and colour. Not the movement of one. 3 Ostaszewska & Koziel's Lady in Red Lea Cetno Terriers. LB (5,1) 1 Harrison's Gaelic Rose. Good body and coat. Nice front with good lay of shoulders. Kept her outline on the move. RCC. 2 Hayakawa's Charleston Je Kaffir. Similar type to one but preferred the front of one. OB (5,1) 1 Arreduti's Ch. Cunnings Xanadu. Another quality one from the same breeder of dog CC. Feminine bitch. Great expression. Load of attitude. Moved very sound. CC. 2 Pijunovic & Tack's Am Ch Monaline Unstoppable at Snoward. Heavier type than one. A little wide in front. 3 Rossbach Pauline Vd Birke Deu Jch. VB (2,1) 1 Burnside's Belle Star. Not putting all in.
