WELSH JUDGE CRUFTS 10

Welsh Terriers

PD (1)

1 Snow’s Felstead Fourscore, promising young dog from this famous kennel, well bodied up, beautiful lean head, dark eye & well placed shoulders, tight front, good reach of neck, short coupled, tail on top & good bend of stifle, moved well. BP.

JD (2)

1 Pickering’s Cannyyatton Hot Shot for Jolliver, best mover in this class, nice head, coat & colour, used his ears to advantage, short coupled, tail on top & well presented;

2 Rundles’ Valucis Vitally Sparky, more trimming would help here, not using his ears. Good coat & colour.

PGD (3)

1 Robertson’s Felstead Funny Fellow at Renevis, have watched this dog develop into the show dog he is today, beautiful head & expression, good reach of neck, level topline & good tailset, good coat texture & colour, moved well & a credit to his owner/handler. RCC;

2 Williams’ Taicligh Star Trooper, nice head & dark eye, fairly well presented although more trimming would get the best out of him. Good coat & colour, moved well;

3 Franklyn’s Jolliver Magical Wizzard, moved OK, wouldn’t settle.

LD (6,2a)

1 Halliwell’s Wigmore The One And Only, super head, dark eye, keen expression & well placed shoulders, good reach of neck, level topline, good tailset & bend of stifle, best mover in this class, showed well;

2 Hughes & Pearce’s Knowlelion Allow Me, well presented, good coat texture & colour, good furnishings, tail on top, looked well standing but just lost out on movement;

3 Cassidy’s Boowire Wild Ginger, good head, tight front, good coat & colour but just not using his ears to advantage.

OD (4,1)

1 Scawthorn & Day’s Saredon Fourth Of July, beautiful head, correct bite, dark eye, well placed ears giving keen expression, well placed shoulders, good coat & colour, tail on top, good bend of stifle & low hocks, put down to perfection, moved very well with drive, enjoyed being in the ring. CC & BOB;

2 Smeets, Abmeyer & Bailey’s Am Ch Bayleigh Shaireabs Play It Again Sam, excellent coat & furnishings, good head, shoulders & topline, tail on top. Just lost out on movement to 1;

3 Steer’s No More Mr Nice Guy of Happytails, needs to tighten up in front, good head, good coat texture. Would like more body weight.

PB (2)

1 Poole’s Boowire Sunrise of Alokin, very feminine, sweet head, well placed ears, harsh coat with good tailset, moved well;

2 Humphries’ Felstead Floral Beauty, nice head but not using ears to advantage. Trimming in front would help overall picture. Moved well.

JB (2,1)

1 Jones’ Dezrez Teenage Kicks, nice head, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, level topline, moved well, used ears well & looked well standing.

PGB (6,2)

1 Glover-Byrne’s Jodean Maggie May, nice bitch, very well presented, beautiful head with well placed ears which she used to advantage, tight front, level topline, tail on top & low hocks, moved very well;

2 Pickering’s Jolliver The Lady In Red, good head, dark eye, tight front, harsh coat, moved well;

3 Griffiths & Pesci-Griffiths’ Dobelands Ebony Lace, not so happy here & not using her ears.

LB(3)

1 Connell & Graham’s Sonorra Tilly Trollop, in fine condition, nice head, super coat & colour, good reach of neck, short coupled, tail on top & moved with drive;

2 Spraggs’ Saredon Delta Dawn, well shaped bitch, nice front, good head, dark eye, harsh coat & moved OK;

3 Dover’s Jomeltash Shall We Dance, better trimming would help here. Not too happy in the ring.

OB (12,2)

1 Houben’s Eur/Hun Ch Joseffa von der Hohen Flur, very hard class to win with so many quality bitches present but this bitch stole the class for me on movement. Good head, good bite & ear placement, well bodied, good sized bitch, well placed shoulders, level topline with tail on top, moved with drive & loved every minute. CC;

2 Averis & Scawthorn’s Saredon It Had To Be You, & it very nearly was, quality bitch well put down, beautiful head, good reach of neck, tight front, short coupled & good coat & colour, moved with drive. RCC;

3 Witmond’s Ch Tilster Techno Babe, another good one from this kennel in great condition & moving very well, great coat, colour & presentation.
