WELSH BOSTON 22 Judge: Mr Martin Sanders Thank you for this non CC entry of eight exhibits with only one absentee. 1 Davies’ Ch Perrisblu The Equalizer. It’s exhibits like these that make the miles, time and effort most rewarding. This dog is a total joy to go over. He is as close to the breed standard as you can possibly get. Perfect balance in head which is of rectangular shape. Super in eye and expression with excellent dentition all topped off with neat well set ears which he used to good advantage at all times. He is mature in body with good spring in rib. Level topline which leads to a firm loin with tail set bang on with plenty in rear. His bone is good with cat like feet. Going away he pushed off from those short parallel hocks. On the return he was spot on. Presented in harsh jacket and immaculately turned out. Handled by a true pro. Delighted to award him BD and BOB despite the advances of the bitch in the challenge on the final run off! Pleased to witness him take Group 2. 2 O’Connel’s Darwyn The Best Is Yet To Come. Fair exhibit all through. Head is ok if somewhat thicker all through. Correct front assembly, not as compact as the winner. Correct harsh jacket, just a bit restricted in rear. RBB. 1 Vickers & Dams’ Jodean Cleopatra. 10 months and is most appealing all through. Correct for breed type, feminine in head which has correct proportions. Plenty of strength in fore face with good dentition. Dark in eye which gives off a keen expression all topped off with neat well placed ears. Plenty in neck with a good front assembly. Short in back with a correct set on. Correct angles in her rear all finished off with short parallel hocks. Jacket was well presented and she moved out with correct footfalls. BP and RBB just touched off by the more mature bitch from Open. Should have a bright future! Pleased to witness her gain Puppy Group 2. 1 Averis & Barker’s Saredon Amazon Princess. 14 months and has plenty to admire. Feminine in head which has correct proportions. Dark in eye with well placed ears. Neck flows into a clean front assembly. Compact in body with level topline which leads to a correct set on. Bone and feet are good, jacket is well presented. Moved out with purpose on the out and back just needs more time to mature up. 2 O’Connell & Hotchin’s Knowlelion Sky’s The Limit. 17 months. Another with plenty to admire. Head is ok if just a little short in fore face. Eye and ears ok. Neck flows into a clean front assembly. Body proportions are balanced. Bone correct with tight feet. Jacket was well presented. Unfortunately carries tail in an uncharacteristic fashion but did move out soundly. 1 Mathias’ Dalys Brenhines Cymru At Dapperdax. 19 months. Typey all through with correct overall make and shape. Head is ok with a dark eye. Ears placed well and used at all times. Plenty in rib which leads to a good set on. She has quality in bone with tight feet. Jacket is harsh and was well presented. Drove well from the rear but needs to tighten up in front on the return. 1 Vickers & Dams’ Jodean Sunflower. Eyecatching individual of quality. Excellent in head which is of the correct rectangular shape. Good strength in jaw with good dentition. Dark in eye which gives off a wicked expression all topped off with neat well placed ears which she used to good advantage at all times. Excellent in neck which flows into a clean front assembly with plenty in fore chest. Short in back with good spring in rib. Level in topline which leads to a correct set on. She has good bone with cat like feet. Jacket was presented in good order. Today she was full of herself but once settled did display accurate foot falls. I’m told only shown four times then Covid struck but she sits on 2 CC’s. A champion in waiting!
