WELSH JUDGE BLACKPOOL 21

JD (1)

1 Robertson’s Renevis Roller Coaster. Well balanced youngster. Liked his head piece, good eye and expression and well set ears. Strong neck set in well placed shoulders, firm topline and well developed hindquarters. Presented in the best of coats. Once he got into his stride moved soundly on a free and easy stride, Res CC.

LD (3)

1 Davies’ Perrisblu The Equalizer. Have given his sire a CC and a G1, but think his son will even eclipse his exploits. Excellent make and shape, sturdy and compact as the standard asks for. Best of heads, ‘brick’ like, darkest of eyes and an alert expression. Scores in front assembly. Well ribbed firm body and strong muscular quarters with a good bend of stifle. Sound on the move with great reach and drive, CC & BOB. Pleased to see him go G1.

2 O’Connell’s Darwyn The Best Is Yet To Come. Pleasing sort who presents a typical outlook. Good size and handles well on the table. Pleasing head and eye. Stands on good legs and feet, level topline and a good tailset. Moved out well both fore and aft.

3 Ashton’s Kitesprite Myrlyns Magic.

OD (3)

1 Pearce’s Darwyn Knowlelion Special Brew (Imp Can). Smaller framed dog but very well balanced throughout and has plenty of strength and substance to complete the picture. Pleasing head, small dark eye and well set ears. Good depth, firm body, powerful hindquarters and well let down hocks. Sound mover.

2 Hughes & Pearce’s Knowlelion Real Deal. Heavier set dog than the winner but presented a balanced outlook. Good head shape but preferred the neater ears of one. Strong neck set in well placed shoulders, pleasing topline and nicely rounded quarters. Moved well on a good stride.

3 Jones’ Perrisblu The Duke.

PB (3,1)

1 Hotchin & O’Connell’s Knowlelion Sky’s The Limit. Cracking puppy who I liked a lot and I am sure will have a very promising future. Liked her for her size and overall outlook. Typical in head with the best of expressions. Scores in neck and shoulders, short backed and well developed hindquarters for her age. In good coat and such a sound positive mover for a puppy, BP.

2 Robertson’s Boowire Reach For The Skye At Renevis. Still very much a baby and not as together as the winner at this stage of her development. Balanced head and a keen expression. Firm topline and a well set tail. Once she got into her stride and settled moved well.

JB (2)

1 Sinclair, Hughes & Peter’s Pegillo Peekaboo. Was very taken with this young lady and I am sure it won’t be long before she is knocking on the door for top honours. Presents a clean and balanced appearance. Good head and the best of expressions. Pleasing front assembly, short backed and a good bend of stifle. Sound mover on a free and easy stride.

2 Clarke & Jones’ Westpenn My Baby’s Sweet. Good size of bitch and of overall pleasing make and shape with that required ‘square’ appearance. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, firm body and nicely rounded quarters. Not as positive on the move as the winner.

LB (3, 2)

1 Vickers & Dam’s Jodean A Dash Of Poison. Such a typey bitch, smart all through and so well balanced. Good size with lovely bone and substance but keeps a feminine outlook. Best of heads, clean cut and small dark expressive eyes. Excellent front assembly standing on good legs and feet. Level topline, well set tail and good strength of hindquarters. Best of coats and put down in top class order. Moved soundly, Res CC.

OB (3)

Best class of the day, three quality bitches.

1 Davies’ Perrisblu Infinity. Another one out of the top draw from this kennel. Was on her toes at all times and was really up for it on the day. Very well made throughout. Cracking head with a very typical outlook and pleasing eye and expression. Good reach of neck, well laid back shoulders, nicely ribbed up and great strength of loin. Best of quarters with good width of second thigh and well bent stifles. Soundest of movers with great reach and drive, CC.

2 Hughes’ Knowlelion Sassy Boots JW. Another very good bitch who was close up for top honours on the day. Excellent size and shape, nicely balanced and built on clean lines. Good head piece with a very feminine outlook, dark eye and keen expression. Scores in neck and shoulders, good legs and feet and pleasing depth of body. Firm topline that she holds on the move, pleasing tailset and positive on the move.

3 Hayakawa & Barker’s Stanstead I Want It All.
